I don't usually feel compelled to review chain places and all but I must warn the universe and fellow innocent beings of what to expect when coming here. SERVICE. IS. SLOW. Friendly and patient and messy and with the best intentions, but slow. So please visit the drive thru if you're very desperate and can afford to wait up to 20-25 mins for your order. I'll give it 3 stars because I feel bad for the innocent workers who bust their bums to better the place, but it just doesn't come through at all. Not sure why in the many times I have stopped by the pace is molasses. It's the closest Starbucks to me and my coffee needs are always urgent, so I guess I can put up with it a bit longer, but it's unfortunate. Could be better, service-wise. read more

Drinks are always good but man they need to hire more employees. Your telling me I need to wait a half hour while most of Tilgmans businesses is online orders, to get my coffee . Dunkin would never. I'd go to Hamilton Square any day of this tilghman . Only will i ever drive through seems like that's the easiest and timely manner way. read more

I go there every morning in store and a few times in the evening for the drive thru. This is the best Starbucks in the chain. The staff is well trained, friendly, knowledgeable and accurate. They greet every customer with a hello and care about getting your order correct. The store is extremely clean and the staff are well trained. This goes for all shifts. read more

BEWARE OF THIS STARBUCKS. The staff are rude, slow and not friendly at all. In fact I got an eye roll from one of the employees when I was given my drink. The lines for the drive through is also insane, you'll be waiting here for about 30 minutes before you get a drink. Then after waiting all that time your drink is tasting like garbage. read more

I am literally speechless. The staff was so rude. They messed up TWICE and I was so nice about it because I'm just not one to be rude to service. But omg I almost lost my shit. Do not come here. Do not come. Save the money go to Hamilton Crossings. read more

You will wait a minimum of 30 minutes in this drive thru and there is no where to turn around. Don't do it.

I should've read the reviews before going to this location. I have never been in a drive thru so slow. I even ordered ahead to have this squared away and make it easier. It took 30 minutes! And like another review mentioned, once you're in that line you are trapped. Once I was given half my order, they still had me wait. She came back and asked what I was waiting for and I told her. She came back saying one product is out and I told her how to substitute. She brought that (with sticky stuff all over the bag) and I told her I need the other item- the strawberry funnel cake Frappuccino. She said strawberry mango??... Ma'am. I repeated it again, she got it, and I got out of there to never return. read more

Price increases are a given everywhere. What Starbucks is charging for a tall spicy strawberry versus a tall strawberry refresher is out of control. The $1.00 price difference for a scoop of spicy chili powder (aka cayenne power) is ridiculous! Talk about price gouging your customers! As an added comment the powder does not affect the taste in a good way. Only adds "heat" to the drink. Save your money. If you truly want to give it a try, get the strawberry refresher then add your own spicy chili powder. Will be much cheaper. read more

Always friendly, opens 5am and when you get there the staff is attentive and always is sure to say something nice on the way out the door.

Always go to this location the people are super kind some people say it's slow but I think otherwise def go to this Starbucks loveeee this place read more

This Starbucks is literally the worst. The normal wait, whether or your in or through mobile is 20 minutes. I've been there when I was empty and still had to wait 10 minutes for a small latte. I've worked in the coffee shop business and there's no need to constantly be this slow. read more

Oh man. This Starbucks has a trap drive-thru as in once you're in, you're trapped. I was way back and it became clear after several minutes, we weren't going anywhere. Not only that, but it's dumpster alley for the whole shopping center. Scenic! Two people escaped by backing out behind me. It was my shot! And then someone pulled into the lane again! Drat! She must have seen my back-up lights and understood my desperation to escape as after about a minute of talking it over with her passenger, she backed out as well. My moment! Free at last. But I still wanted my coffee. Surely it would be quicker inside! I waited in a line of three people. The cashier was aloof but keyed in my order. After that, the waiting and waiting. The only barista that seemed to be hustling announced an ice emergency (it was a hot summer day -- every drink was iced) and one of the other workers disappeared into the back for about five minutes before emerging with the ice supply. Then he went back to stacking cup lids. That's the kind of scene we were dealing with. The hustling barista said they had someone call out, but the general inaction of the rest of the team spoke more to the problem than that one person's absence. My drink was fine and I've gotten served in a more timely manner at that locations before, but it's not a great Starbucks unfortunately. They need some teamwork -- some willingness to multitask and maybe abandon stacking cups for making some damned iced coffees during a rush. read more

Do not use the drive thru. When I come to visit my parents I stop here for a drink for my ride home. The line is so slow. I've sat with 3 cars and waited over 15 minutes. Today I took the chance again...my mistake... and it took 20 minutes just to be able to place my order and another 15 minutes to get to the window. My parents say it's always like. Doesn't matter how many cars are in line it always takes forever. I would do online ordering but had a little one asleep in the car and didn't want to wake him just to go in and grab my drink. Not sure what the problem is. Sorry but won't be stopping here again. read more

This is one of the slowest Starbucks for mobile orders. I order many minutes out and still have wait a long time. Meanwhile people in store and in the drive through come and go. Avoid this Starbucks. read more

Worst Starbucks to go to music is as loud as club music cant do any studying cant hear anyone talk to me, went to the mcaruther road location instead so much quiter DO NOT GO HERE read more

I've given this location multiple visits to rectify my opinion since it's so close to my office but the only positive I can say about this location is they're always clean. The last straw was when I placed a mobile order and went to the cashier to inform her and she said just to stand to the side and wait. I stood there for almost half an hour while other people were being served. When I went to ask her the status of my drink she admonished me and said I should have informed a barista. I gladly would had she said that earlier. Turns out my drink, a frappuccino, had been completed and sitting there this whole time. Of course it was completely melted by this time. Her solution was to add ice and reblend it. The java chips were ground down to nothing and there was barely any flavor to the drink. It promptly went into the trash. read more

I love Starbucks, but this has to be my least favorite Starbucks that I have had a chance to visit. The drive thru wraps around the back of the shopping center, which makes it very difficult to leave the drive thru if you need to. You are probably wondering why would you ever need to leave the drive thru? Well you would need to, because it takes FOREVER. For being surrounded by caffeine, the service at this place moves at a snails pace. On more than one occasion, I have sat in the drive thru for over 20 minutes. Not only have I had ridiculously long waits, upon receiving my beverage, the order was wrong. I believe this location has screwed up my order more than they have gotten it correct. Positives about this location? It is a nice place to sit inside and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, those positives do not outnumber the negatives for me. When I have a desire for Starbucks beverage, I make the effort to visit other locations in the area. read more

I love Starbucks ... This is one of my 3 favorite locations. The staff is very friendly and my drinks are very consistent and perfect each time. This location is very busy all the time ... Due to the fact they have great service, excellent product and a perfect location! Keep up the good job! read more

This place is under construction and should not be open. Loud music!! The place is in disarray. Please stay closed until construction is finished. read more

This is one of the few Starbucks in the area (where I come from in CO they are everywhere), so of course it's consistently busy. The parking lot is a little small, which can be challenging, but it's not that big of a deal. Staff is always really friendly and smiling, probably because they're over-caffeinated :), and the drinks come out quickly and correct every time. There's a drive-through here, which is really convenient when your husband wants a Venti Caramel Frappucino at 9:30 at night and you don't feel like getting out of your pajamas. Yeah, we're those people. At least we own it! read more

Proof that not all Starbucks are created equal. Not that there's a lot of options in Allentown, but really you can't go wrong here. I'm a little embarrassed that the employees all had my drink memorized (I'm really spending too much $$ on coffee), but they were always friendly, as efficient as possible (for how busy it is) and had lots of good, albeit overpriced, food options.. read more

If you're in a rush, skip this drive-thru!!! Super slow. Took 15 mins to get thru the line at 2 in the afternoon.

This is the worst Starbucks in the valley. There is always a really long line in the drive-thru. I just waited 21 minutes in line for a cold brew and I did not get my two Splenda's in the cold brew. The person who took my order and gave me my coffee was not polite or courteous at all. read more

Poor customer service and unconventional layout. I made the mistake of driving around back to the drive-thru where I found it was backed up with 10 car. Because of the layout, I couldn't back out and get out of line, so I had to wait 30 minutes (yes.. 30 minutes) just for the line to move enough where I could actually maneuver my car around the remaining customers still in front of me and get out of line. It's coffee and pastries you're serving here, not a 3 course meal. Speed things along! read more

Do not go here if you want to remain sane. I waited in the drive thru line for 27 minutes in the morning and was over twenty minutes late to work. Absolutely ridiculous. These people are clearly not trained on how to handle morning commuters. At Dunkin, I am in a line with the same amount of cars (8-10) and am out of line within 5 minutes. read more

This store has the slowest service I've ever seen at any Starbucks I've been to! There are maybe eight cars in the drive-through line and I have been waiting for over 30 minutes just to give them my order. Now I am the third car in line after giving my order and I still waited an additional 10 minutes to get up to the window. This is in the middle of the day on a Sunday afternoon so it's not like I'm here when it would typically be a slow time. read more

Newly renovated. The new furniture is new, about as soft as the old stuff, the large overstuffed chairs are noticeably absent now however. Also, they've just installed a very loud, crystal clear sound system. So loud, headphones can no longer provide any type of study barrier. If this used to be your study spot, you'll find it much less comfortable these days. Drinks and food are precisely what you'd expect. read more

This location is pretty good. The staff is friendly and very efficient in making a drink timely and tasty. The prices are a bit on the higher side which I would be lower with a Dunkin Donuts about a mile away. I have not stayed to enjoy my drinks in this location as the space doesn't seem to comfortable. The drive thru is an absolute terror. You have to drive around the back of the entire line of stores (about 5) to reach their order station. There are cars and dumpsters back there and that spells disaster. Once you go through the obstable course of tight squeezes in and out of the building this location offers good pricey product with a smile. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Allentown, Pennsylvania

I work from home, so I'm usually here 2 or more times a week to get out of the house for awhile. I will agree it's slow, but I'm never in a rush so this doesn't bother me. However, since I am here so much, I expected that the staff would eventually remember me. Still waiting on this :( They don't mind if you sit here for 3-5 hours and catch up on your to-do list (or eavesdrop on surrounding conversations). Not a bad place for a high-quality salad. Thy usually have my favorite in stock (brown rice with veggies) I have sat in the drive thru for way too long and you kind of have to commit to it, there's no turning around once you enter! read more

I just went through the Starbucks drive through on West Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA. I realize with Corona shutdowns, service will be slower; however, there is no excuse for rude service. Normally, I don't review coffee shops, but I feel compelled to post how disrespectful and argumentative the service was at this location with the young lady who was taking orders on the microphone. Sadly, I will not be returning to this location or recommending it to any of my family and friends. read more

If you NOT WHITE, just know they not treatin you right. Every time i come in here we got a problem. How can you "lose" "can't find" a croissant? Riddle me that. Got me waitin wild long and not until i come back to the counter to inquire, ya cant find my food item??? HOW SWAY. Nah. Foh. I hate this location, absolutely hate it. Its the closest to my house though, so thats why i still pass by every once in a while. But its really f-k them. read more

The Award for worst Starbucks go's to this store!!!!!!! All I drink is Starbucks coffee. Not a foo foo drink just a black cold brew or a hot black eye with milk. Now you would think they would be able to get that correct without a problem. Well they can't. The drive through is very slow and the corporate office just puts $10 on my card wen I send a email to let them know how bad this store is. Just fix it!!! Instead of going to this location I go to the one in target on my days off or I stop at the one on the turnpike on my way to work. read more

Every time I come here, my order is wrong or my mobile order is completely lost. IF my order is ready, they get my drink ready and completely ignore the food. This happens at least 2 out of 3 visits. The only reason that I go back is because it's the only Starbucks on my way to work. I guess I keep hoping it'll get better. This has not been my experience at any other Starbucks, and I expect more from the company. I don't mind paying for quality, but this Starbucks is a waste of valuable time and money. read more

So today was some kind of event (red cup). So obviously a very long wait for drinks. Store is packed with people waiting to order and the waiting for drinks. A woman comes in to get her mobile order. It's not ready. She says she has a meeting (we all have important places to go). They completed her drink out of order so she could get to her meeting. Super disrespectful for the rest of us patiently waiting. read more

I mean a real shit show here! The only thing they do right is trapping you in their drive thru waited for 25 min in line for a latte that they didn't even put the flavor syrup in! Honestly I don't know how this place doesn't get better management read more

Having been to hundreds of starbucks around the country I can say this is not my favorite location, BUT it gets 4 starts because its better then the other locations in the area! And hey at least there IS a Starbucks here! Being the best location in the area, it is of course crowded and the parking is a horror show. The staff has always been fast and friendly and even though there are a lot of people inside I've never had an issue finding a table for 2. I don't think I need to comment on their product as I'm sure most people have had a Starbucks latte by now, but what the heck. They seem to be made by the book, not overly sweet, which I have sometime found. read more

Seems there is NO communication Everytime I order at the drive thru my order is wrong..coffee with cream and sugar double shot...how can you get this easy order wrong nearly all the time!!
