Excellent coffee and hot chocolate and a donut on par with our favorite place back home, couldn't be more pleased!!

We were in the area for a wedding and wanted to shop local! We found this place and saw that it had great lattes, was a cute shop, and had great service! All very true when we went, and their vanilla latte was excellent! read more

A drive through coffee place? Not the easiest drive around the tiny building with a large car, but you can make it happen. I am not a coffee drinker, but my passenger was looking for something better than what they found in front of them in the morning, so we tried here. Turns out this place has been doing this for 20+ years, has super friendly service, and the vanilla latte that they served was one of the best they have ever tried. read more

I love the JJ! this place is a daily stop for me on my way into work and the staff is unmatched in kindness and attention to detail. New ownership seems to really care about modernizing the menu and taking customers suggestion! Definitely stop here while you're in the valley! read more

Very good coffee. Cafe lattes are amazing. Nice choice of pastries or treats. Try the yogurt parfait too!

Great scones, donuts, coffee, and service. Clearer signage for specialty/limited time items would be nice tho.

I drove from Pennsburg, which is 30 mins away, to try this coffee. Was it worth it?!? Absolutely. My family and I just recently moved to the area and I've been saying how the town needs a drive thru coffee 'joint' that's NOT Dunkin! I 100% wish this was the place, but anytime I'm in the area I will definitely stop by. The ladies were very kind, thankful, and fast. They have 2 lines (one on each side of the building) which keeps the customers coming. Get the which chocolate iced latte with Carmel drizzle. You *wont* be disappointed! Whenever you're ready to expand ladies come out my way *wink* read more

Great coffee and super quick service. Received the Java nut and it was delicious and priced well.

I love this place! I would choose here over the large chains any day! There is never a long line and they are very friendly. They even cut my donut in half for me to give to my 3 year old daughter. It is great to support a local place. Not to mention, their coffee is GREAT read more

This place is the absolute coolest. On my way from my parents home in Morgantown PA to my employment in New York, I stop at least twice for coffee. However, today I chose to drive a different route hoping to make the drive better. What I found was that I needed coffee. Good coffee. I pulled over and searched for a place nearby. Java Joint was the closest and I zoomed off in search for it. When I found it - I realized it was only a little thing. You drive up to the windows! With full menus posted outside, lattes, cappuccinos, coffees iced and hot alike it will have exactly what you want with a price that will make you want to order double. Pulling up to the window I expressed my excitement to the baristas. Expecting to freak them out by my attitude, they seemed surprised at my Monday morning mood and were super pleasant and explained to me how the drive up process worked. I asked if they have milk substitutes and they do - both almond and soy. At last! I ordered the surprise almond milk latte. Under the $5 card minimum I asked for a muffin as well. It took some time to explain all the different flavors but I was impressed at the variety. I pulled away happy, sipping on a peanut butter latte and a chocolate chip muffin. All delicious. Wallet happy. Satisfied. I will be back. With more surprises of course. read more

Java Joint Drive Thru Coffee - Just what you need, drive up, fast service, smiles and good coffee. I'm all about it. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Trexlertown, Pennsylvania

HANDS DOWN THE BEST COFFEE SHOP IN THIS AREA! I've been going to Java Joint for years and they have never let me down. The staff is always friendly and always took their time with their customers. Coffee is reasonably priced, maybe even cheaper than the chains and the taste is amazing. Highly recommend their speciality lattes. read more

I used to love this place. Service was typically friendly but if you caught them on a bad day, you could certainly tell. I would stop every Friday as a treat before work. Every Friday I would bring my own cup to fill instead of wasting plastic. All was fine until suddenly one morning I was given my cup back with a snarky response of "we don't accept competitors cups" (it was a Starbucks cup) I had explained that it was never a problem before and that I didn't want to waste the plastic. I was then laughed at and said I could just pour it in myself if I wanted to use the cup so badly and that it was always "policy" to never use competitor cups. It is sad that a small shop will go to being rude when simply putting a drink into a non-labeled "competitor cup". read more

Rolled through the Java Joint this afternoon. Had a vanilla latte and a chai latte. Both were very hot and tasty. The service was very quick. Very pleased with our coffees. read more

The service was fast and friendly. The latte was just so-so. The espresso shots were sour and the Milk tasted as though it had been steamed too many times. Even though I asked for it at 140-150 degrees, it was undrinkably hot. Come on folks, I wanna support independents - but you've gotta be competitive in quality. read more

Amazing coffee and great people! We have been searching for a place with good coffee and we found it!!! They are so willing to make you whatever you want and happy to do it. read more

Java Joint Drive Thru Coffee - 20 oz Iced Vanilla Breve - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Trexlertown, Pennsylvania

Wow! The owner Betty is so sweet and will really help you with whatever your order is! My husband stopped by first and I quickly followed for my first visit. It's clean and so cute, right off Hamilton and Trexlertown rd. The specialty coffee currently is the Cinco De Mayo and while I didn't try it, I just think that's such a fun thing for new clientele and old alike. There is a $5 minimum purchase for credit cards but you can pay cash and not worry. The best part of this place and the reason it's a 5 star and not 4 is simply because the personal touch! No other way we are visiting another coffee shop! Way to go Betty! And thank you! read more

I have been going to this place for years and the owner recognizes me. I went with my sister this morning and ordered two coffees with sugar free syrup. They were both way too sweet...obviously having too much syrup in them. We politely told the owner and she proceeded to huff and puff annoyed and then charged us for two more coffees! We were both so shocked and too nice to argue, but I will NEVER be back to this place. I wish someone would burn the shack down after such bad service and horrible attitude from the owner! read more

Warm and friendly service, along with great coffee. We can all be a little grumpy in the morning. When I drive through the Java Joint and have a nice morning conversation with the ladies there, I truly feel better about my day. Lately I have been partial to the almond bark latte, I just can't get away from it! The product here is quality. The service here is first class. I don't go every morning, because it is more expensive than my traditional cup of on the go Joe. The mornings I do get here, are a treat for the coffee and the morning smiles. read more

Two locations, Trexlertown and Kuhnsville (off Tilghman near Blue Barn Rd). Solid cup of joe with many variations - I like their pumpkin spice latte better than Starbucks! AMAZING pastries from Emmaus Bakery but get there before mid-morning or they are already sold. If I'm out and about in these two areas and clamor for some coffee, I always stop here over Starbucks. Super friendly baristas ready to serve with a smile and small talk. read more

Love this little shop! Delicious n friendly people. The Java Nut is my favorite. Dairy free and sugar free options too.

Best coffee around. There so nice there. They have amazing donuts. They also have the best black and white milk shakes they taste amazing.

This place is a hidden gem in a small community west of Allentown. Coffee and pastry available coming mostly from other local small bakeries. A small business, but the drinks put anything at Starbucks to shame. The staff is friendly and owner recognizes everyone after a visit. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. read more

Hands down best service, best coffee, easy drive thru, and tasty treats! Coming from the Northwest experience of drive thru mom and pop coffee shops, I love Mrs. Betty! Sweetest woman. Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts... no thank you! I have frequented this spot since I moved to the Valley in 2009. Never disappoints. Friendly service where customers are highly valued. Time often taken to learn 'regulars' names and orders. Attention to details, even a treat when your dogs in the car... oh and delicious customized drinks. Watch for seasonal and weekly specials. Absolutely the BEST COFFEE IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY!!! I come here as often as I can and I'm always greeted with a smile. Not like Drunkin' Dog Nuts. I feel like cattle at DD; shuffle me in then out with mediocre coffee. Anyway, at JavaJoint you won't be disappointed at all. read more

Had a really yummy coffee here (it really hit the spot) and an amazing doughnut:p they have a lot of options for drinks and pastries and have a convenient drive through. the ladies were super friendly too. I was gonna go to a chain coffee store but decided with corona going on I'd try somewhere smaller and local, and this shop is so cute on the outside so it tempted me and I'm glad I stopped by!! INDEPENDENT COFFEE SHOP WITH A DRIVE-THRU... yassss! LOVED everything about this little coffee shop. The service was wonderful and my Sugar-free Vanilla Americano was delicious!
