I can't say enough good things about Taylor Roasted. The shop is beautifully decorated with old coffee bean sacks and house plants hanging all over. They play classic coffeehouse music playing while you're sitting and sipping. And my favorite part is if you're staying in with your coffee, they will give you a ceramic/glass mug/cup for your coffee instead of automatically giving plastic. All the baked goods are delicious and they have fun and interesting beans for purchase. The owner Jackie is so kind and wonderful to chit chat with while she's making drinks. This is truly hard to find. For an excellent cup of coffee the closer you purchase coffee to being roasted; the better it tastes. So, it's fabulous and we are very lucky to have a coffee roaster in the Lehigh Valley. Coffee from this roaster is fantastic. What is better yet is that he roasts Guatemalan coffee. We stopped in last Friday and it had gotten up into the mid 80's which turns me into ice cold 'Green Tea' person. Very, very refreshing! Folks that work there are very friendly, didn't get the baked goods but oh they looked so good. Very nice quiet place to burn an hour kick back and chill. read more

I think this is my new go-to place for coffee. Found this place on yelp and knew I had to check it out. In the words of my cousin, the atmosphere is so cozy and unique that you just feel like you're in a different world. I love how they have the coffee bags lying adjacent to the counter! It has such a vintagey feel! And the the coffee---is simply irresistable. This truly feels like a legit coffee shop. I'm so dumbfounded as to what coffee I should get because there is such a large variety of coffees from all over! I love how the advertise the different lattes they have. I am in the process of trying them all! So far I have tried the Teddy Graham mocha and it is superb!! This place is truly a diamond in the rough. No more Starbucks for me. I'm going here anytime I'm craving a latte or a pick-me-up. read more

So my friend told me not to come here because they were rude to her BUT I only listen if it happens to me......I went anyway!! So not only are the hours of this place pointless honestly. But I was waiting there for maybe 20 minutes. In line. For them to tell me once I'm done ordering that they don't take $50 bills.......not only was there NO SIGN!! But the owner who sits on that table all day was rude & his girlfriend the cashier basically just played the blame game and said he said NO, he's the owner. Sucks! They could be great but they def need to tweek things here and there. Do not recommend...service sucks especially if you're rushing in the morning!!!!!!! read more

A Lehigh Wheelman group of 20 road cyclists descended upon this great coffee shop Sunday morning. There was only one lovely girl working but she handled everyone with great efficiency and spirit. The pastries were delicious and the coffee was as good as it gets. That's saying something since I've been a home roaster for over a decade with ludicrously high standards. read more

If there were more coffee houses like this, then places like Tarbucks wouldn't be as prevalent as they are. The owner is dedicated to the craft and art of roasting coffee. Not just running a coffee house and serving you a quality product, but creating an experience that allows you to appreciate and enjoy something as commonplace as coffee in a new way. For example, I went in to buy coffee a while back and found him picking out individual beans from a batch that looked overroasted. He will talk, at length, about his process and about the differences in the coffees he has available. His passion for coffee is clear as is his interest in fostering a community at micro and macro levels. I have enjoyed the local baked goods, cocoa and teas as well. the coffee is outstanding. The roastmaster does a great job in selecting and preparing his roasts. I love the personal touch of independent coffee houses and this one has it's own unique charm. Friendly staff and warm, homey ambiance. My only gripe is that the store hours seem to be a little unpredictable and making the 20-25min drive from south Allentown only to find closed doors has been disappointing. I've tried calling ahead but many times am not greeted with a response, even when calling during posted business hours. I will gladly make accomodations in my schedule to partake in this special brew but would appreciate a little more consistency in the hours and phone lines read more

Me and my boyfriend come here very often. They roast their own coffee beans, they make their own bake goods and sandwiches, and if you are a mocha or latte kind of person, they have a lot of variations to choose from. The owner (John) is a really nice and funny guy, and the barista (Jackie) is the sweetest thing.
