The one…read moreprevious time I visited PA during pandemic just about every establishment I went into had about 1/4 the customers without masks. I'm vaccinated so I roam around less worried although not completely oblivious. I wanted to go into Double D to see what donut selections they had and also since I was traveling from NYS I needed a bio break. To my dissatisfaction this place was drive-thru only so while dancing outside their door because I did have to use the bathroom I decided this was going to be an emotional review. I did dance my way through the drive-thru cause I still needed that bio break but I also needed my coffee fix pretty badly. This is probably your typical Double D spot but only the good Lord knows exactly what they have inside because they don't let customers in. May 2020 I'd get that but we are in like two years after initial panic and most people are getting vaccinated.

I cleared off my own table, so I can sit down. I brought a large Nutella iced coffee. For $7 and was there for about 30 minutes and tables were still dirty. My iced Nutella coffee was ordered because I heard from multiple people that it's their best iced coffee. I thought I was crazy, because my Nutella iced coffee, looked and tasted like iced plain coffee with cream. There was no Nutella or any sweetness at all. I met my daughter and asked her to taste my iced coffee and she said the same thing, it tastes like coffee, cream and ice. No other flavor. For $7 , that's insane. Since it was New Year's Eve, I get the staff was having fun. Just should of made sure tables were cleaned off for new customers to sit and to make coffee the way it should be made, instead of getting confused because you were talking about that evening and what you're all gonna do. They do have a membership, to enter your phone number , and after a certain amount of coffee you get a free cup. I at least got credit for my iced coffee that I couldn't even drink.

You can tell they really care about what they're serving. I also got a gluten-free oatmeal cream cookie, which was absolutely delicious. It was soft, flavorful, and didn't taste gluten-free at all. The employees were so kind and warm. The whole space has amazing character. Cozy couches, plenty of seating, natural light, plants, wood floors, and a really welcoming vibe. It feels like the kind of place you could comfortably work for hours or meet up with a friend. Great atmosphere for a weekend reset. It was just as nice as the pictures. Located on the corner with a stream and single lane bridge next to it, this was a great spot to enjoy a drink and a pastry.
