    Cobb Salad
    Christine N.

Stopped in during a solo weekend trip while in town for baseball games and was looking forward to trying this spot based on the name. Unfortunately, the experience felt off pretty quickly. While the place itself had a decent setup and I was seated in a visible area, it took about seven minutes before anyone came over to acknowledge me. The waitstaff wasn't rude, just noticeably disengaged, which made the whole visit feel a bit overlooked. I was seated by the hostess in a central, visible area (see photo), so the delay in being greeted was a bit surprising given the staffing on the floor. I ordered a Down East cider along with the Cobb Salad and Bang Bang Cauliflower. The salad, which I paired with a ginger dressing, was actually the highlight--fresh, well-balanced, and flavorful. That said, it was brought out before the cauliflower, which was supposed to be the appetizer, so the pacing felt a little disjointed. The Bang Bang Cauliflower was the biggest letdown. Instead of being crispy as expected, it was more steamed in texture, which took away from both the flavor and overall dish. There appeared to be a manager on-site as well, but the floor didn't feel particularly engaged in general. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed. There's potential here, but between the lack of attentiveness and the inconsistent execution of the food, it just didn't quite come together.

    Bacon flight....YUMM

Started with the bacon flight and beer pretzel. Whoa. We're talking 10/10 starters. For mains, I got the bacon and blue burger and it was "chefs kiss" perfect burger. Fantastic service. Cannot wait to come back :)

When I seen thick cut bacon, I had to give it a try! The bacon was as good as it looked. Super tender with a nice sweet and salt glaze. My mom had the ribs and thought they were ok. I had the Cuban and i wish I customized my toppings but it was still pretty good. Pretty good spot overall

Went to lunch with a group of coworkers and had a really good time. The service was really quick. The food tasted great and the cost was more than reasonable..

This place is so cute. Love the pig theme, it just works. I will say parking is limited but don't let that stop you from checking this place out. The food was delicious. I got the cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly and I could tell they handmade the patties. This is a good size burger. You will not leave hungry. They also have a nice selection of craft beers to choose from along with specialty cocktails. If you are in Bethlehem, give this place a visit!

One of the best meals that I've had in. Pennsylvania. Seriously. Top notch staff. Both Nathan and Ariani top tier customer service. These drinks were delicious. The oat milk espresso martini was outstanding. Light n tasty. The cranberry coconut margaritas yes please. Every drink n bite was great. The Mac n cheese burger amazing. Great Mac n cheese. The Cuban sandwich on Texas toast Devine. The bacon trio outstanding.

Flying Pig Tavern & Tap is a gastropub located on Center St. in Bethlehem. They are open every day from 11AM - 11PM. I've been to this restaurant once before, and had a great experience. This time around was no different. All the food was delicious, and our server (also the bartender) was welcoming and attentive. I ordered honey bourbon wings and the Big Pig Burger. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was fantastic. The burger was juicy, and topped with bacon, onion straws, shredded Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce. All burgers are fresh, never frozen, and served with fries. My friend ordered the Italian chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken breast is topped with fresh mozzarella, roasted onions and peppers, and a balsamic glaze. The chicken was super tender and the toppings gave the sandwich a lot of flavor. All sandwiches are also served with fries. Flying Pig has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Little bit of a wait but staff was friendly. Waitress is also the hostess but the bartender helps out too. Service was a little underwhelming but not sure if someone called off but they seemed short-staffed, so it took longer, but the waitress was hustling and nice. Nice bar area with bar seats and high top tables with lots of tvs. A few booths and a few regular tables. Onesie bathrooms. The french onion burger was delicious! Love that the au jus has onions too. Burger was cooked as ordered and tasted fresh. The table next to us got the french onion soup and it looked great as well! Tots were spot on, but their ranch was not great. The crispy chicken burger was also tasty, but the garlic parmesan sauce was from a bottle and on the tangy side so not a fan. We ordered cherry pepsi which is made with cherry syrup from the bar, so that was different but decent. Overall, I would come back but just make sure you're not in a hurry!

I just can't say enough about the service staff here. Polite, know how to read a table and definitely want you to come back. The food, really good with something for everyone.

Popped into the Flying Pig while out on a drive. Quite empty on a Sunday afternoon. The interior is in need of a bit of maintenance with ripped booth seating and chair gashes on the walls. The women's restroom was out of order and the men's was in need of a good cleaning. Service was slow, especially since there were only a handful of couples dining. The burger was well cooked and flavorful, not frozen. The chicken sandwich was nothing special but cooked nicely and not dried out Can't go much higher than three stars for the place (and customers) needing such attention. Doubtful I would return and not very likely to recommend to others.

    Jackie K.

The waitress, I believe was named Trish, was great. Kept checking on us and was very sweet. The food was very good. The pretzel was huge, soft, and delish. The mozzarella sticks were the best I've ever had. They were soft, non greasy, light on breading, and great cheese pull. Good vibes all around.

It's open Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. My friend and I made our first visit early Friday evening. The service was good, and the food more than lived up to expectations. We started with tender, well-seasoned beef skewers, crispy buffalo wings over blue cheese, and perfectly cooked roasted cauliflower paired with a tasty tzatziki sauce and pickled onion. For my entree, I ordered the maple-glazed short rib. It was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and came with creamy sweet potato puree and roasted shallots. My friend ordered the rich, deeply flavorful bolognese. Although she received the small plate portion rather than the entree, it wasn't a major issue as we had more than enough food. There are still many items on the menu I'd like to try, and after such a strong first visit, I'll most certainly be back.

I attended Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Part II in DC, and overall it was a really enjoyable…read moreexperience--especially for fans of Poe--but with a few logistical quirks worth noting. First, "speakeasy" is definitely used loosely here. The event took place in a ballroom at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, with a stage set up at the front and several round 8-top tables arranged throughout the room. It felt more like a small theatrical performance with table seating than an intimate, hidden speakeasy-style venue. One thing to flag: the event FAQ mentioned that some venues may have a pre-show bar but no food. That wasn't the case here--the hotel actually had food available for purchase before the show. So if that matters to you, it's worth checking directly with the venue rather than relying solely on the event website. The performers truly carry the entire experience. They handle everything--checking tickets, seating guests, serving cocktails, and performing--which is impressive but also leads to some occasional disorganization. When we arrived, there wasn't great communication between the ticket checker and the usher, so some guests seated themselves and had to be moved later. It didn't ruin anything, but smoother coordination would make the start of the evening feel more polished. As for the cocktails: you get four, one paired with each story. Unfortunately, this was probably the most underwhelming part. The drinks weren't very strong--you could barely taste the alcohol--and despite the website showing nice glassware, they were actually served in plastic cups. It didn't quite live up to the "cocktail experience" expectation. That said, the performance itself was fantastic. The cast was engaging, energetic, and clearly passionate about Poe's work. They performed The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and each was brought to life in a compelling way. There were even a few ad-libbed moments that added humor and kept the show feeling fresh. The actors also did a great job interacting with the audience at each table while serving drinks, which added a personal touch. Overall, despite a few hiccups with logistics and the cocktails, the strength of the performances makes this a worthwhile experience--especially if you're a Poe fan.

My girlfriend got a couple of small plates and she loved her meal as well. In the morning, we returned for brunch, which usually wasn't as good in the past. We ordered the Caribbean conch fritters that were so small. You could barely see them. The gnocchi however, was very good. The two of us that ordered the filet mignon's were very disappointed. The server told us that we should order them medium rare because the medium would be not cooked to our satisfaction. The medium rare came out overdone. When my friend asked for another steak, they brought her a new one that was completely raw in the center. It's clear to me. They don't know how to cook according to temperature. The pan sear deck duck breast was not cooked to perfection either. In between each course, we had to keep asking for silverware because they served us food with no silverware. You should never have to ask in a restaurant of this magnitude to be given silverware with your meal. When we got there, I had brought in a cake for dessert and the guy at the hostess stand said let me take that for you and bring it to the table. I said no it's a surprise. When it came time for dessert, the waitress came over and brought menus for dessert and I clearly said to her we have a cake in the back and she said oh I didn't realize it was for you. Our server was.Danieliz A. I would think when your bill is $500 you would get a little better service than what we were given. I personally owned a fine dining restaurant and to say this experience was subpar is an understatement.
