Trey gave such great service! So welcoming ! Everything was top service! Decor : Paintings were all homage to some of the greats in rock music ... plus Marilyn Monroe portrait. I came with a group and we all loved our food. I ordered a crab n' avocado cocktail! Fresh and delicious. My entree was the salmon with jasmine rice & asparagus. Absolutely so delicious! I loved it here and I look forward to coming back soon!!

A show of Illusion at Wind Creek brought us to Bethlehem- But truly Apollo Grill brought the most magic to our evening!! A perfect dinner. Highlights galore. (I LOVE writing these reviews!) My husband and I arrived for our 5:30pm reservation and Apollo was packed. We waited in the entryway for about 10 minutes & were seated in the back of the restaurant, catty corner to the bar. The restaurant is lively, quirky art on the walls for sale. While small, the restaurant did not feel crowded when seated. The amount of tables and arrangements were placed perfectly. We were promptly greeted by our server. We were told immediately the kitchen was a tad slow so we were given flatbreads and butter. Love this transparency. No questions, no wonders, just thoughtfulness. And that thoughtfulness is why this next paragraph is dedicated to our server, Trey. Trey, my Dear, you deserve to be head of staff. One of THE BEST services in any restaurant we have ever had!! Kind, courteous, prompt and helpful. You had us always in eyeshot. The whole time we went without waiting or wanting. You brought this to every patron, we saw it. This dining experience was made best by you. Kudos Trey!!! (Back to just as worthy of compliment- the food and drink!) My husband ordered a Banana Bread Old Fashioned and I a Bourbon Berry Lemonade. Delicious!! Muddled wonders and subtle flavors. Sweet and neat. App orders were the Beef Carpaccio and the Filo Asparagus. This is where the most minor critique comes, in wishing the carpaccio gave me a vessel. Would love a crusty toast to scoop this up. However the beef was like silk. Oily and creamy, the arugula dressed well. Bitey, peppery, sharp. The asparagus was piping hot. Crispy outer and inner. Flaky and paired well with the pesto. Smooth pesto- basil & parm, no bitter. Course #1, a success. To entrees- My husband went casual on the Apollo Burger. With their gracious sub of aged cheddar from Swiss cheese. Burger did not Moo as he like, but was cooked a fair mid-rare. He enjoyed it! More beautiful were the Sweet Potato Fries aside. These were hand cut. These were REAL sweet potato fries. Either the freshest potatoes or the best recipe ever. Either way- please give me the secret???!!! These were so Real and Unreal! I ordered the Crab Cake dinner. It sang. ......Lemon!! (Singing voice, lolol) Besides the cook being perfect on the potatoes and green beans, there was a harmonization of lemon flavor throughout the plate. Beans were snappy, potatoes roasty and smooth. The crab cake, very good. Packed with herbs and accenting flavors to the crab. I am more of a crab purist- lumps only. But their filler paired well with the crab and accentuated all auras of the dish. So in total, Apollo has shot into our memory as a Best Of the Lehigh Valley. Undoubted recommend. More stars than can rank. Well Done.

We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to get a table outside. They did have umbrellas up as well so that helped with the sun. I thought that I wrote down our server's name to recoginze her, but I can't find it anywhere. We chose to have dinner here between escape rooms (Captured LV) and we are so glad that we did. They have a great variety of food on the menu and we chose to share some of the appetizers. We had the burrata (there is no pictures since the kids ate it all before I could get one so you know it was good). I got a picture of the beef carpaccio (we had 2 of those). We all shared the truffle risotto which was really good and had a great truffle flavor. We also did the shrimp lemonciello which had perfectly cooked shrimp and the sause was sweet and garlic. Such great flavor. We really enjoyed our meal and service here. They were really busy, but we were taken well care of. The inside looked nice, but we ate outside so cannot speak to volume or actual experience inside. Just glad we had the option to sit outside and get some amazing food.

Had dinner last weekend with large group of girlfriends. Service was good, she was prompt in greeting us and took drink order. First round of drinks started eh. 3 dirty martinis, not dirty at all. Espresso martini and pomegranate martini were yummy. Apps - photos below were all yummy. Tuna tartar was fantastic! Just needs more chips! Burger was good, was overcooked they brought us a new one. short ribs were good very rich. Scallops were also yummy. They brought comped desert for our celebration.

Did not expect to find good food here in Bethlehem, PA. Lol. Came here for dinner before a concert at the Wind Creek Event Center. Huge shoutout to our waitress, Katie. I asked her what her name was and I was surprised that she also asked and it was so sweet of her to address us by our names for the rest of the evening. Here is what we ordered: Drink: - Rock-Tail (Mocktail) Appetizer: - Calamari Soup: - Soup Flight (carrot, crab & asparagus, French onion) Entrees: - Linguine with White Clam Sauce (half order) - Crusted Ahi Tuna with Jasmine Rice and Aparagus Everything we had was excellent. I absolutely loved my Linguine with White Clam Sauce. It had little chunks of tomatoes and that made it even tastier. The only thing we didn't fancy was their soup flight. The concept is cool but the execution didn't work. Presentation-wise it came in these ramekins that made the soup look like sauces. Other than that I highly recommend this place. Reservations are a must, it was packed on a Wednesday night. The entire restaurant is decorated with murals with musical artists by a local painter. They are available for sale at $2.5 to $3.5K a pop.

Apollo Grill is an American restaurant located on W Broad St. in Bethlehem. They are open Tue - Sat 11AM - 10PM. The menu offers soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, dinner entrees, and an array of mouthwatering appetizers. On my latest visit, my friend and I shared two appetizers and two sandwiches. We started with the truffled scallops and fried calamari. The calamari wasn't fried long enough, but the scallops were delicious. They were pan seared and accompanied by truffle cream sauce, roasted mushrooms, arugula, and pomegranate seeds. The sandwiches we split were the short rib melt and buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. We enjoyed them both. The short rib comes with aged cheddar, caramelized onions, roasted garlic aioli, and arugula. The fried chicken sandwich comes with BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and pickled red onion. All sandwiches are served with chips and a pickle. Service was excellent. We were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door, and our server Georgia was personable and accommodating. Apollo has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Great find and 5 stars. Second time out to Easton Pennsylvania. This restaurant was highly recommended and it met expectation. Our server Adrienne was AWESOME! very personable, made great recommendations and did not rush us. Actually all of the staff we interacted with and observed interactions with other customers were really friendly. The restaurant is extremely well run, they are constantly cleaning, vacuuming under the tables, and sanitizing the tables. We started with the scallop appetizer, lump crabmeat mac n cheese, and a special tomato based bean and chic pea soup. For mains we had three of the lunch specials. The ahi Tuna with rice and grilled asparagus, the salmon with citrus lime rice and also had grilled asparagus. We also had the grilled beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes. All of the food was exceptional. Great taste, well presented and the perfect temperature. For desert we had the Mexican chocolate and peanut butter cake, soft center chocolate cake and the cheesecake special with a creme brûlée topping. The deserts were great as well. They have al it of assorted art paintings that I believe most of that are for sale. (See my photos). The restaurant is busy and very popular. I highly recommend them and I have one friend who will be stopping in on their business trips in February to Easton. I will be beck again.

    Hot chocolate creme brûlée

Appetizers Crab and avacodo cocktail was fresh you could really taste how light and juicy it was they added avacodo and tomatoes which really showed off the fresh taste of the crab how light it was then you come to the chips as expected the taste of the chips were homemade with seasonings very light again went well with the theme of the freshness of the whole dish complemented everything extremely well Then we come to the Black and blue tenderloin honestly a little disappointing I tried the meat without the sauce and garlic bread first not crazy good taste by it's self. very tender easy to chew well cooked but not a ton of taste from just the meat but! When you add the garlic bread and the sauce with it it's amazing explosion of flavor definitely more dense will fill you up faster rather then the crab and avacodo cocktail the meat just really doesn't have anything going for it though. Entree Blackened chicken sandwich take it off the menu is all I'm gonna say what are we doing here well seasoned meat but in most bites I tasted more bacon then anything else there's cole slaw on the sandwich and one circle of some sauce nothing is blending well together can't taste the Cole slaw can't taste whatever sauce there is there's too much going on nothing is complimenting each other. This is not the style of this restaurant or something that Apollo should be investing in I ate the whole pickle and more chips then I did the sandwich. Disappointing honestly. Desert hot coco creme brûlée not much to say it taste just like hot chocolate.... Waitress Georgia is very nice professional and gave me most popular requests so I appreciate it she was very helpful 5/5 for her I'd come back definitely but not knowing that this restaurant is consistent throughout the whole menu scares me I could get something I don't like and will be really disappointed with. Conclusion I'd give them 3.4 stars two things I ate were quite questionable the price I paid for my meal was $110 after tip I think it'd be a okay date spot not a anniversary spot though I'd need something less open you can see everyone in the restaurant very open concept funky that the bussers table is right in the middle of the restaurant. I'd suggest this place but don't take a girl here to impress her she won't be it'll just be another restaurant.

Cooked medium well, tender, and juicy. 11/10 -Beet salad was so fresh and a flavor bomb. 9/10 -The cod was good but nothing special 7/10 -Every other dish hit the spot! 8-9/10 -Great service giving us amazing insight into each dish with great specificity 10/10 -Really classy feel with unique decor

I hadn't been here for dinner in a few years and I remembered I really liked it here so I decided to return. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. We were seated in a nice table and our waitress brought water and took our drink order. She brought our drinks, which were nicely crafted, and I ordered some crab & asparagus soup. The soup was tasty, but could have been hotter. I then ordered some Ahi tuna for my entree. The waitress removed my soup bowl and the bread plates that were on table. I asked her if there was any bread and she told me no. I told her I was surprised. Why do you have bread plates on the table if you don't have bread? Made no sense? The entree came and was also delicious. I plan on returning soon but I'll bring my own bread.

Pot roast sold as short rib. No rich and savory sauce...

I actually love this place the food is generally very good, and I've had several good dining experiences here. The staff is friendly and the service is good. It's a very clean place too, with a nice atmosphere. I find myself compelled to write about last nights dinner. I ordered the short rib with mashed and asparagus. It was a bold move serving pot roast as short rib - truly pushing the boundaries of culinary fiction. The 'short rib' was delicious... for a pot roast. Short rib isn't dry stringy beef like chuck that's why it's like $25/lb You might want to update the menu before it applies for witness protection.

I mentioned this and was told that's because many of the same craftsmen worked on this place too. Made me feel smart! If you go. Do yourself a favor and walk around a bit. The food was very tasty I think it is the only restaurant I've been in locally that didn't use excessive amounts of salt. A big plus. The mixed drinks were interesting and reasonably strong. I usually quaff mine down fairly rapidly, savoring the buzz during dinner and still safely driving home after. I had potato soup, which was very good, and Ming had Beet Carpaccio, which was thinly sliced seared root veggies with seasoning. I only had a bite because she wanted it all! Then came dinner. I had the ribeye, which was done so that it was seared one the outside to keep the flavor in and red (while being cooked thru, not an easy feat) and it's was flavored but not overly salty, were unusual. I ordered my usual Worcestershire sauce to clean off the extra salt, but hardly used any. Ming had the crab cake, which was the only negative of the meal. While not overtired or salty, there was a bit of a fishy smell. Not terrible, but off putting. Luckily for me, I don't like crab anyway so I didn't have any. The desserts were good, with a tasty chocolate cake and a peach cobbler that was good but could have had a bit of peach goo to moisten it a bit. The prices were very competitive considering the venue AND the quality of the food. The bar was hopping too because it looked like a great place to hang out with friends!

I'm from New York, and my sister moved to Pennsylvania, so she introduced me to this spot. Now every single time I visit her, I somehow end up right back here because the food is just that good. They used to have a second location that closed, but honestly, it doesn't even matter because this one was always my favorite, the food here is on another level. We always start with the Brussels sprouts, the fried green tomatoes, or the hush puppies. You simply cannot go wrong with any of them. The appetizers are always hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. And then there's the mac and cheese... absolutely to die for. Even the children's mac and cheese is ridiculously good. Creamy, cheesy, comforting, exactly how mac and cheese should be. Their salads deserve their own shoutout too. The goat cheese salad with pickled eggs is perfection, and the Caesar with cornbread croutons? Genius. It's the kind of detail you don't expect but end up craving every time you think about it. But of course, the real star of the entire place is the cornbread. Truly heavenly. They serve it warm, and the whipped butter melts right into it, it's honestly dangerous how good it is. I could eat the entire dish by myself without hesitation. The service is always great, quick, friendly, and welcoming. It's one of those places where the vibes feel just as good as the food tastes. On weekends, it does get packed, so making a reservation is probably a smart idea. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the consistency, everything hits. We waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for our entrees, even though the restaurant had basically emptied out by then. When the food finally arrived, some dishes were cold and others were dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. For a place charging these prices, this is unacceptable. What made the experience worse was management's complete lack of accountability. The GM never came over to apologize, acknowledge the delay, or offer any form of compensation, nothing, despite us being patient, polite, and spending over $400. At that price point, basic service recovery should not be optional. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. There's clearly a reason reservations were easy to get during the height of the Christmas season. We will not be returning.

Unfortunately, she couldn't locate our waitress so she took our drink order. Within a few minutes our waitress appeared and we told her the other waitress took our drink order and that we like to order more food. She took our food order. 25 minutes later the food appeared but still no drinks. After complaining finally received drinks from the original waitress. We're still here finishing up let's see if service gets any better.

I discovered this charming pub while visiting Bethlehem (otherwise known as Christmas City USA)…read moreduring the recent holiday season. The space was lively, yet cozy. First time I visited was for lunch. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I needed to order the Wild Scotch Egg (difficult to find). I also had the half portion of Fish and Chips. The Wild Scotch Egg consisted of hard boiled egg and sausage, which was panko fried, sitting on Guinness fondue and crisp arugula, topped with Parmesan crisps. I really enjoyed this. The outer breading was light and satisfyingly crispy, while the egg and sausage interior was expertly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Cheesy fondue sauce was rich and creamy. Parmesan crisp was a nice, tasty touch. The beer battered Fish and Chips were also yummy. Fish was succulent, perfectly flaky and flavorful, while the Steak Fries were wonderfully crunchy, full of true potato taste. I knew I needed to return in order to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, one of my all time favorite desserts. This was served warm, with Earl Grey tea date sponge cake, paired with sweet sticky toffee sauce and clotted cream. So deliciously mouthwatering and decadent! Service was good. The waiter was warm and easy to talk with. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were quite reasonable. I'm glad I came across this place to have my fill of some British classics!
