This was our first time dining here. We were a group of four celebrating a birthday . We were very impressed with the hospitality of the entire staff. The complimentary birthday toast was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. The wine and cocktail list were great . We loved the upscale atmosphere , but down to earth vibe. It is on the pricey side , but worth it. We will certainly return.

My wife and I came here for a Saturday date night with a reservation. We were immediately impressed with how nice it looked inside. We are greeted and seated immediately. We ordered drinks, a charcuterie board, entrees, and the dessert. Wait times were to be expected for everything. There were a handful of other tables in the dining room we were in, tables in other areas and outside, plus they had some kind of private event going on. The cocktails were great, not too boozy but not all filler. I had a local draft beer which is always a plus for me. The pork chop was cooked to perfection! My wife loved her salmon and said it was prepared perfectly as well. The true highlight was the chocolate cake we had. Oh my god was it good. A perfect dessert to split. Overall, we were here for just under two hours. We weren't in any kind of hurry though. I would consider the Wilbur to be more of a fine dining experience, so it's not meant to be quick. I noticed throughout that food was brought to whomever was there first, as it should be IMO. Will definitely return!

Took our mom to WM for their Mother's Day brunch buffet - wow!! Incredible spread, atmosphere & service. Everything from prime rib, ham, omelette station, shrimp cocktail, homemade whipped cream, fresh fruit, salmon, waffles, sausage, chicken, charcuterie table, a wide range of yummy desserts. It was all very tasty! Looking forward to going back and trying happy hour!

A group of us met up for happy hour the other night and had a great time. Drinks were around $9. However I fell for a drink on the regular menu, a smoked Paloma. I love tequila grapefruit drinks and was expecting some kind of liquid smoke flavor. However, my drink was an experience. It came with its own vessel full of what smelled like campfire smoke - so cool!! It was absolutely worth every penny. Great portion size and experience. I was a little disappointed they didn't have the shishitos listed on their menu for a snack, but in the end I didn't spoil my dinner so it worked out. I would love to come here again. Beautiful place and excellent service.

So, first time here not for a special event. Came for brunch, I ordered the eggs Benedict flight. I expected good things, I love eggs Benedict, unfortunately not good. The first time they came out it was cold, I sent it back, the second time it was also cold and I sent it back again. The chef? Manager? Not sure who she was, asked if I wanted to try something else instead. I decided to give the Benedict flight one more try, I did not realize instead of remaking fresh they must've microwaved my original order as yes it was warm but my eggs were hard boiled. My friend had crab cakes and said they were good, my drink was excellent and we all got a dessert but I don't recommend the Benedict flight.

Overall, the bill wasn't too expensive either. However, the ambience is majorly lacking for how cool the historical building looks from outside. That was a big let down after years of seeing this in passing. It feels too much like a 90s coffee shop from Friends / a poorly converted modern bank lobby with the lighting, and the floor layout lacks flow if you're sitting at the bar. It would be an improvement to see historic qualities restored to the interior, rather than bland sheet rocking, no crown molding, etc. Aside from this, we found the music to be a very distracting and random selection of early 2000s dance, pop, EDM, emo, and rock, mixed with the occasional alt rock hit that was (finally) tolerable enough to fade into the background. The room is vacuous because of the high ceilings and hard building materials, so turning the volume down a little and choosing something consistent in tone (perhaps neo soul or just sticking to alt rock) would be beneficial for the overall atmosphere. Bottom line: would return again for the food, but the atmosphere wasn't what we expected and could be improved for a cozier, vintage styled atmosphere (but that's mostly a matter of preference). Friendly service, affordable prices, and good eats go a long way.

In a nutshell, the chef caters to flavor, and balanced flavor at that, which makes each dish phenomenal. I had the grilled octopus appetizer and it is the best octopus I have had since 1989. That is no lie. Their shell and cheese, small beet salad, hummus, and fall risotto special are equally fantastic in their own right. Enjoy the food, drinks, and quiet atmosphere. The service was good, and the food more than lived up to expectations. We started with tender, well-seasoned beef skewers, crispy buffalo wings over blue cheese, and perfectly cooked roasted cauliflower paired with a tasty tzatziki sauce and pickled onion. For my entree, I ordered the maple-glazed short rib. It was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and came with creamy sweet potato puree and roasted shallots. My friend ordered the rich, deeply flavorful bolognese. Although she received the small plate portion rather than the entree, it wasn't a major issue as we had more than enough food. There are still many items on the menu I'd like to try, and after such a strong first visit, I'll most certainly be back.

But now, their meals have advanced to another plain. The grilled salmon was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and with amazing rice and blistered tomatoes, it was an absolute treat. My girlfriend got a couple of small plates and she loved her meal as well. In the morning, we returned for brunch, which usually wasn't as good in the past. My girlfriend wanted scrambled eggs and bacon and fries. Since I was starving, I indulged in the beef poutine with onion gravy over fries and with an egg -- as well as the blistered tomatoes. Absolutely phenomenal (along with a great cappuccino). The flavors were truly incredible. Kimberly, the server who may be the best in town, took care of us, which only added to our experience. She is a stellar ambassador to ZEST. Reservations were fast and easy. Upon arrival (both times) we were seated immediately. The only strange thing had nothing to do with ZEST: Even within the restaurant, if you search for "brunch near me" or "breakfast near me," ZEST does not come up at all. That's a shame because many souls may be missing out on a fantastic experience.

First time I visited was for lunch. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I needed to order the Wild Scotch Egg (difficult to find). I also had the half portion of Fish and Chips. The Wild Scotch Egg consisted of hard boiled egg and sausage, which was panko fried, sitting on Guinness fondue and crisp arugula, topped with Parmesan crisps. I really enjoyed this. The outer breading was light and satisfyingly crispy, while the egg and sausage interior was expertly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Cheesy fondue sauce was rich and creamy. Parmesan crisp was a nice, tasty touch. The beer battered Fish and Chips were also yummy. Fish was succulent, perfectly flaky and flavorful, while the Steak Fries were wonderfully crunchy, full of true potato taste. I knew I needed to return in order to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, one of my all time favorite desserts. This was served warm, with Earl Grey tea date sponge cake, paired with sweet sticky toffee sauce and clotted cream. So deliciously mouthwatering and decadent! Service was good. You could tell by speaking with him that he took pride in their menu. He let us sample some of the sauces which was great. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. My friends and I started with the crispy dim sum (chicken), essentially crispy chicken dumplings, served with a sweet-spicy Thai chili sauce and savory soy sauce. Next, we tried the crispy calamari, lightly crisp and tender, with medium-sized rings served alongside romaine and baby arugula, red pepper, ginger-sriracha dressing, and fried capers. For my entrée I went with the Thai Chicken Curry, prepared with tender chicken, fingerling potatoes, cauliflower, scallions, cilantro, and red pepper in a rich, creamy coconut milk broth. The steamed jasmine rice soaked up the sauce beautifully, making this an entrée I absolutely loved. My friend had the Farfalle Pasta, composed of roasted chicken breast, sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke, lemon beurre blanc, grana, and crispy prosciutto. It's not something I would ever order, but it looked great and she really liked it. My other friend had sautéed Angus beef with sugar snap peas and hoisin jus, as well as the seasonal flatbread, which happened to be a spicy margarita. The beef was juicy, and the flatbread had a nice crisp to the crust. He enjoyed them both. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything at Edge was wonderful. It's definitely a place I'd return to for both the food and the atmosphere.
