Over the years we've been to edge a handful of times and I've never had a bad experience. I'm not sure why I've never reviewed them but it seems that they've been well reviewed and I'm surprised by a 3.8 in December 25. The ambience is elegant yet comfortable, the food matches the ambience and the service seems to always be on point. My most recent meal consisted of spicy tuna tartar and mushroom risotto with beef tips both of which were excellent. I would love to see a citrus wheat on their draft list- but you can't have everything!

Deviled Egg BLT, unique and delicious! Nice for lite fare.

10/10 Recommend. Lets start with the Owner. She was amazing...simply put, great hospitality. The food was fantastic! My whole family went. We got Chef Tims Meatloaf Sandwich, perfectly cooked and the secret Sauce was fantastic. It came with fresh cut fries. The Deviled Egg BLT was a unique item that you rarely see anywhere. My wife loved it! The egg salad was not too much and tasted great! Monte Cristo with a Twist? French Texas Toast with turkey and ham with Muenster and Cooper Cheese. This sandwich was awesome! The vibes and aura of this restaurant was amazing. Mimosas for brunch, christmas theming, spacious and intimate. All around an amazing restaurant. P.S. DON'T FORGET THE PEANUT BUTTER PIE! IT WAS ALSO A 10/10! Follow us on @keystonefoodie on instagram for our reel review!

Slow service, Sad plate. After a long day of management team meetings, we looked forward to team building over dinner at Edge. This was a Wednesday early evening, we all arrived around 5pm. Our table of 10 was seated as we found parking and arrived. A long table in a back corner was nice, however the restaurant was quite dark. Decor yielded high end. Drinks gave towards that feel, however food did not. I enjoyed a Summer Old Fashioned. The Aperol was a sweet accompaniment to the cocktail. Friends around the table were surprised in the Elixir of Life- carrot forward. We enjoyed lots of conversation among the table. This at least was distraction from the entrees taking so long to arrive. Understood we were a large party, however the restaurant may have had at most 10 other patrons besides our table. An hour later- My crab cakes arrived. My hunger did not overtake the look of this plate. Plate presentation minus. Crab croquettes at best. There was not lump crab meat here. Filler fried. The potato gratin was a square of casserole, not creamy or cheesy. The slaw was a plate plop. The dressing did not marinate the slaw enough and wasabi lacked with no kick. I took bites, did not enjoy the dish and left with no leftovers. Around the table there were feedbacks of Good and Ok. Good to Risottos and Ok to Roasted Cauliflower. We had a good off-hour time together as a team. But unfortunately my experience keeps me on the Edge of not recommending.

Edge Restaurant is a New American restaurant that opened in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 2002. It was founded by restaurateurs and married couples Tim & Karen Widrick and Spencer & Carissa Cobb. The business partners also own the restaurants SURV and Sunny Side Up!: both in nearby Easton. Edge features a contemporary dining experience with a menu that blends French and Asian influences. In addition to being one of the owners, Tim Widrick also serves as Edge's executive chef. Kyle Abel serves as the Chef de Cuisine. My family and I visited Edge this past summer while we were visiting relatives in the area. We were a large group of extended family: 14 of us in all. We were really excited when we walked in. The architecture and the colors were very nice: a very sleek, modern look. To drink, I ordered a "Broad Street Manhattan" (straight bourbon, amaretto, lemon juice, black cherry puree, cherry bitters). It was a nice take on the classic cocktail. As an appetizer, my wife and I split a "Half Dozen Oysters on a Half" (cucumber riesling mignonette). For entrees, I had the "Farfalle Pasta" (roasted chicken breast, sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomato, artichokem lemon beurre blanc, grana, crispy prosciutto) and my wife had the "Oven Roasted European Chicken Breast" (sage, gruyere and prosciutto stuffed airline chicken breast, green goddess risotto, sautéed baby carrots, guajillo tomato puree). Although there isn't a traditional kid's menu, the staff said that they could bring our two boys simple plates of "Farfalle Pasta" (one with sauce and one with butter). Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling disappointed. The service was unbearably slow (well over an hour wait; not great when you have hungry young children), there were a lot of menu omissions, dishes came out different from the way they were described, and the food was just... ok... and overpriced. We look forward to returning to Bethlehem's excellent restaurant scene, but it won't be at Edge.

Went for a random Monday night date night and weren't expecting miracles on a typically "off" night but the food was absolutely incredible. They have a decent selection of various sizes of dishes and cocktails. The hummus was a winner for sure.

We visited this spot for the holidays and it was busy and packed! We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately so I definitely recommend making a reservation when they're busy. The food was decent. One thing to note is the menu is different during December so we didn't get the dishes we were excited to try. We ended up grabbing Brussel Sprouts and Calamari for apps and Mushroom Risotto for the entree. The Brussel Sprouts were decent but a bit burned. They were a decent portion for the price. The Calamari was disappointing and bland with almost no seasoning and taste. I would not get it again. The Mushroom Risotto was delicious and very creamy and well made. I enjoyed it and it was pretty filling. I recommend getting it if you want something light and delicious. Overall, this was a decent spot that I would revisit in the future to try their other dishes because they looked really delicious.

Overall, the bill wasn't too expensive either. However, the ambience is majorly lacking for how cool the historical building looks from outside. That was a big let down after years of seeing this in passing. It feels too much like a 90s coffee shop from Friends / a poorly converted modern bank lobby with the lighting, and the floor layout lacks flow if you're sitting at the bar. It would be an improvement to see historic qualities restored to the interior, rather than bland sheet rocking, no crown molding, etc. Aside from this, we found the music to be a very distracting and random selection of early 2000s dance, pop, EDM, emo, and rock, mixed with the occasional alt rock hit that was (finally) tolerable enough to fade into the background. The room is vacuous because of the high ceilings and hard building materials, so turning the volume down a little and choosing something consistent in tone (perhaps neo soul or just sticking to alt rock) would be beneficial for the overall atmosphere. Bottom line: would return again for the food, but the atmosphere wasn't what we expected and could be improved for a cozier, vintage styled atmosphere (but that's mostly a matter of preference). Friendly service, affordable prices, and good eats go a long way.

They have a little outside seating and all the way in the back is a lounge area. They are open from 12pm to 2am. We went around 7pm on a Saturday evening. FYI they do have their own parking. It wasn't that packed around that time. Their food menu is nice. So we order for drinks a Honey comb and a The Uprising as well as the Pink Dragon . The uprising is pretty much a tequila sunrise lol the only difference is they added whipped cream on top.For appetizers we order the sweet and hot wings with the bone(they have a boneless option as well). As well as the bacalaitos. For the entrees we order the surf and turf (lobster tail )mofongo with garlic sauce ugh just amazing. The other entree was white rice beans and toastones with churrasco . If you like hookah they do serve that as well let me not forget for all my sushi lovers they do have a sushi station and when I say the chef makes the sushi look so pretty you get to see it made right in front of you . The only downfall I would bring up is that gratuity is all ready included and sheeesh it's 18%. Other than that I would go again to see how the vibe is for the lounge at a later time . Oh and to get some more food because that mofongo was delicious.
