The bartender didn't need to tell all the men in the bar about heed personal life, she wasted so much draft beer because she was not holding the glass right. The customers walked out because of too much head in the glass from the draft beer. Two customers had to change their drinks because of the draft kegs needed to be changed and the bartender didn't know how to change them. I felt bad for the Owner and was gonna leave my name and number Incase she needed a bartender. Another thing bartenders shouldn't be drinking behind the bar when they are working. I have been bartending for many years in NJ and PA.

On a recommendation from Rebecca (a girl I met at the bar at Youell's Oyster House), I finally decided to give it a try. This is truly a locals hangout, with special attention paid to the regulars. Okay - I get that. With not to many people there tonight the place was obnoxiously loud. Got the stares from a bunch of regulars, but who cares about that? Their bar food is good and the portions decent. The 3 female bartenders were nice too. And all good looking to boot! Here's the problem. One which will keep me from going back! On my check was a $3.00 Admin Fee. When I inquired about it I was told it's designed to persuade customers to pay cash. Screw that and screw them. The Greg's Saloon experience is NOT woth the extra $3.00 in any way imaginable. If I knew about the Admin Fee beforehand, I would have walked right back out the door!

We started with tender, well-seasoned beef skewers, crispy buffalo wings over blue cheese, and perfectly cooked roasted cauliflower paired with a tasty tzatziki sauce and pickled onion. For my entree, I ordered the maple-glazed short rib. It was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and came with creamy sweet potato puree and roasted shallots. My friend ordered the rich, deeply flavorful bolognese. Although she received the small plate portion rather than the entree, it wasn't a major issue as we had more than enough food. There are still many items on the menu I'd like to try, and after such a strong first visit, I'll most certainly be back.

Lanes where you have to manually lift and lower the bumpers. Some people find this outdated, but I'd say that this just means this place is classic and has longevity. I had a great time bowling here with good house balls, good lanes that I could continue to practice spinning on and not be completely baffled, and seating that was not super painful. That being said, there were some technical breakdowns between our two games. Our lane wasn't resetting at one point, and at another our ball return got stuck. Both ended up being resolved, and seem to just be par for the course if you come to an older place like this that's not running full cylinder like it used to. Final upside? A lot cheaper than the city, and honestly if anyone complains about the prices, then they need to get their bar reset.
