They had plenty of servers who knew their stuff and the ambiance is a darker sports lounge vibe. Love's menu is quite eclectic as they traverse the food landscapes of "American", Hispanic, and Asian. Their sushi bar looks interesting- I look forward to trying it when I return and I'll update my review accordingly. I was surprised how empty the place was on a weekend night- I hope they can survive and thrive as a fresh hangout on the East side.

Hey everyone so I decided to try this new spot in Allentown call Love's Lounge. I think it's been…read moreopen for about a year. The waitress is nice and very attentive. They have a little outside seating and all the way in the back is a lounge area. They are open from 12pm to 2am. We went around 7pm on a Saturday evening. FYI they do have their own parking. It wasn't that packed around that time. Their food menu is nice. So we order for drinks a Honey comb and a The Uprising as well as the Pink Dragon . The uprising is pretty much a tequila sunrise lol the only difference is they added whipped cream on top.For appetizers we order the sweet and hot wings with the bone(they have a boneless option as well). As well as the bacalaitos. For the entrees we order the surf and turf (lobster tail )mofongo with garlic sauce ugh just amazing. The other entree was white rice beans and toastones with churrasco . If you like hookah they do serve that as well let me not forget for all my sushi lovers they do have a sushi station and when I say the chef makes the sushi look so pretty you get to see it made right in front of you . The only downfall I would bring up is that gratuity is all ready included and sheeesh it's 18%. Other than that I would go again to see how the vibe is for the lounge at a later time . Oh and to get some more food because that mofongo was delicious.

A tremendous selection, smoke lounge, knowledgeable sales clerk's and a full blown bar/restaurant with great food. I was truly impressed.

On September 5th, a friend and I attended an event at The Leaf Restaurant in Easton. Years ago, in…read morethe pre-COVID era, The Leaf was the finest cigar restaurant in Pennsylvania and on par with any in the Northeast. Its food rivaled the best restaurants in the Lehigh Valley, and its cigar events were nothing short of epic--it was a place of undeniable class and sophistication. While there were a few times over the years when the pressure to lower the quality of the menu or service was disappointing, it never completely lost its appeal.COVID unfortunately drove many restaurants out of business. When The Leaf later brought in an outside barbecue vendor--whose name I won't mention--the establishment hit a new low. There are several excellent barbecue vendors in the Lehigh Valley, but this was certainly not one of them. However, after learning that the internal kitchen had finally reopened, I decided to give it another try.Upon arrival, my friend and I bought some cigars in the shop and expected to see signage for the evening's event. There was none. When I asked the shop staff about the event, they didn't even seem aware of it. We then wandered into the restaurant, which also lacked any signage. Fortunately, we were greeted by our waitress, Nicki C., who proved to be an absolute gem throughout the evening. The Famous brand cigars paired with the Four Roses bourbon were superb. We eventually moved outside to escape the trivia night, which was a bit too distracting for a conversation. For dinner, we both ordered the Sweet Bourbon Chicken sandwich, and it was excellent--the crusting was done to perfection. I also had the Truffle Parmesan fries, which were quite good.It is truly unfortunate that the event was not better promoted, resulting in a low turnout. I tipped heavily because Nicki absolutely deserved it; it is vital for a restaurant to remember that waitstaff can make or break the dining experience. I also asked to speak with Chef Corina Werkheiser to compliment her directly. Her execution and ingenuity with the menu were highly impressive. The Leaf's manager, Emily Stenger, also stopped by our table to gather our feedback, and I was deeply impressed by her frankness, positive attitude, and determination.I sincerely hope that the owner, Arthur, recognizes the two gems he has on his team and gives them his full support. While it will take significant effort for The Leaf to regain the elite status it once held, they can absolutely achieve greatness again if they continue down the quality-driven path that Stenger and Werkheiser have started.

The service was top-notch. While on the surface it may look pricey, at the end of the day, it was comparable to some local competitors because they didn't charge extra for soft drinks, linens or room rental fees. Finally, the coordinators Jessica and Trinity were wonderful and easy to work with. There was clear communication and patience answering all of my questions! If they had been crispy, they would have been perfect. 8.1/10 Bacon Wrapped Scallops - coated in a maple bourbon glaze. Absolutely delicious and easily the standout dish of the meal. 8.7/10 14 oz dry aged ribeye - lacked juiciness, was underseasoned, and had an excessive amount of fat. With a premium price tag, I expected a much higher level of quality. 7.1/10 Shrimp + Clam Linguine Pasta - made with sherry cream sauce, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, and tarragon oil. Sadly, the cream sauce was surprisingly bland. After eating the seafood and a few bites of the pasta, the rest went to waste. 7.4/10 Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs - accompanied by baby carrots, horseradish chive mashed potatoes, pickled peppers, and fried leeks. While the short ribs were tender, they were also the fattiest I've ever had. 7.7/10 Grilled Asparagus + Hollandaise - well prepared. 7.7/10 Asiago Crab Mac 'n' Cheese - lacking flavor and had very little crab. 7.5/10 All in all, I loved the atmosphere and the service was fantastic, but the quality of the food did not match the prices.
