The 2 women bartenders were very friendly. But the smoke shop guys were a bunch of arrogant arse holes. I'm not normally a cigar guy so my friend who had gotten there 1st and already lit his took me into the shop. When we went to pay the clerk went on and on about how they don't let lit cigars in to keep them from contaminating. Fine, no problem, we didn't know, so we apologize and he just kept barking at us. Then we go out in the chairs near the shop, not in the bar, and we didn't have a lighter. Asked another clerk if they had matches. He did even look at us and said nope, we're out. Which of course isn't true in a cigar shop. Went up to the bar where the bartender got me them immediately. Get over yourselves! This place is phenomenal. My wife and I found this place and have been there 3 times this week. We have had the empanadas , cheesesteak Cigar rolls , Mac and cheese as appetizers. Our main course has ranged from the hangover burger to to the bat out if hell. Everything is freshly made , even the sauces are from scratch. That's not even the great part. This place is a cigar smokers paradise. My wife would normally be bothered by the smoke but their ventilation is extremely strong. Although you will go home with the smell of cigar it's more than worth that tiny nuisance. There's a full bar and some tasty drink specials. Our two servers were Micheal and Katie. They were both fantastic. They don't rush you out which to me is worth the price of admission when going to a place like this. You used to get two LARGE 'cigars' and now they are 1/3 of the size. Visited here for an all day cigar event at Famous Smoke Shop (which this restaurant is connected to) on 1/13/18. I tried the cheesesteak eggrolls which were pretty damn good. They were served with a few dipping sauces which made them even more tantilizingly delicious. My favorite iten was definitely the "hangover burger" which was a perfectly prepared medium patty topped with cheese, thick cut bacon and a sunny side up egg served on an english muffin.........it was off the hook! For the most part, it's pretty much all standard fare bar food, but I'm giving it 5 stars because our waitress was awesome and she worked her butt off. The place was packed and she did not stop for hours on end.........and impressively enough she was just as cheerful at 9 p.m. as she was at 1 p.m. I don't remember her name, but she was a blonde woman (with purple and pink streaks) and about 5' 1" tall. She was awesome and I hope she continues to work there forever . If the owner or manager of the Leaf is reading this then they must know who I'm referring to........and I would like you to know that she single handidly was the reason a 3.5 star review jumped to a 5 star review. The manager who was working the night of 8/7/15 (I forget his name and I know I asked that night, but I had a long - liquor filled weekend and I forgot) he checked on our table after dinner to make sure we had a great meal and he also filled up my tumbler cup with Diet Coke before our 2 hour commute home! That already catches my attention because he was super nice about it. I took my boyfriend here after a fun filled day in Easton, PA. He loves cigars and whiskey so it was the perfect place. A colleague recommended this place and I'm so glad he did. I made a reservation through Yelp which was so easy to do. (Thank you Yelp!). We decided to sit outside because it was super nice and hot humid at all. The service was the only thing that really needed improvement, I know she was really busy so I'm not going to give her a rough time. She did the best she could since the entire outside patio was full! This place runs daily specials which is awesome! I got the $4 margarita and it was strong and delicious! We got the Duck Spring Rolls to share. It was so good, they were a little big so I think it was fair paying $9 for two of them. It was well made and the dipping sauce was delicious. I even saved the dipping sauce for my boyfriend to use for his Onion Rings. I got the Shrimp Po Boy with a side House Salad. It was so good! Big jumbo shrimp on delicious bread. I was very happy! The boyfriend got the Bat out of Hell sandwich with Onion Rings. It was bacon wrapped meatloaf with cheddar and arugula on sourdough bread. He LOVED it!!! I even got to taste some and it was delicious. The Onion Rings were okay, as a side and upgrade for $3.50... you only get 5 Onion Rings?? That seems wrong. We were also able to get a free dessert through Yelp too. You just have to spend at least $30 on food. We got the Smores' Brownie and it was delicious! It took awhile to get to us but, it was so rich and moist! We loved it! The boyfriend purchased a cigar during dinner and we also stopped at the Retail Store after. They have such a huge selection and a lot of promotions. They also have a lot of sampler packs which is great. I got my boyfriend a 10 cigar sampler for $38. What an awesome place! Attached to Famous Smoke Shop, this lounge/bar/restaurant hits everything perfectly. Plenty of TV's, drinks and deals were great (1/2 off draughts on Sat, 12-2), the food was fantastic and best of all, you can enjoy all this while smoking a great cigar. For lunch my buddy and I split an order of fried chicken wings, to start. We had the garlic asiago wings and I can confidently say they were some of the very best wings I've ever had and I eat a ton of wings on my low carb diet :-) I really enjoyed that they used a much sharper asiago instead of the standard parmesan; cooked perfectly and super juicy on the inside. I had the hangover burger with a side salad/ranch (no bun) and it was freakin' awesome. The bacon is a beautiful mix between thick cut bacon and pork belly, egg was cooked perfectly and the burger was super juicy and flavorful. My husband and i decided to treat ourselves to a night out and we lucked out when we went here. This place is amazing. First off there is plenty of parking. The service is attentive and incredibly friendly and kind. The menu has a lot of variety. We started off with fried calamari cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken. Tender juicy and delicately fried. I ordered the crab cakes with asiago garlic risotto. The crab cakes were huge with large chunks of crab. This place is COMPLETELY off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Its connected to Famous Cigar Company and the cigar store stays open late. I would say probably until about 10pm. You can purchase in store or purchase at the rstaurant. However the humidor in the restaurant was pretty bare when I was there. The food selection was pretty good. a mix of traditional stuff...steak, fish etc. Really nice signature drink menu as well as a variety of spirits. They also have a live band from time to time in the evenings and plenty of great outdoor seating to eat or bring a group and just smoke. I recently visited the Lehigh Valley's new fine dining destination, Leaf. Admittedly, I was a bit reluctant to try it, knowing that it is a restaurant, cigar bar and lounge. And, while I may enjoy an after-dinner cigar once in a blue moon, I like to be able to clearly taste my food and not leave an establishment reeking of smoke. But, the owners of Leaf, Famous Smoke Shop (cigar importers based in the Lehigh Valley since the 1930's) went the full extra mile to make certain that all diners have a pleasant experience and are not disturbed by smoke as they dine. An expansive, state-of-the-art ventilation system quickly carries aromas and smoke up and away. The contemporary ambiance is quite lovely with warm woods and colorful artwork. The bar and dining room are combined with both high and low tables, as well as the bar to choose for seating. It's a relaxed, but sophisticated atmosphere. And, now for the food - the menu was quite a surprise. Expecting nouveau gastro-pub fare, I instead encountered eclectic, creative selections. Leaf's Executive Chef, Evan Kechely is a culinary rock star! His experience encompasses independent and corporate restaurants, country clubs, assisted-living facilities, banquets, catering, and even ice carving. Additionally, he has worked with Buy Fresh Buy Local of the Lehigh Valley and the Easton Farmer's Market. And what is so impressive is that his culinary perspective is characterized by an ingredient-driven, farm-to-plate approach. His dishes rely on sustainable, locally-sourced meats and produce, thanks to working relationships with local farmers. He is a big advocate of beer and food pairings, using finely-tuned combinations to achieve new flavor profiles. He insisted that the Leaf staff be trained to provide expert pairing suggestions for any dish. During my visits to the restaurant, I sampled a smooth and creamy wild mushroom soup that was divine. The Belgium Frites are quite excellent and served with a house-made aioli. Other appetizers include Peppadew Shooters, sweet and spicy South African peppadew stuffed with creamy goat cheese, coconut and Thai basil, beautifully presented in a chilled martini glass. My significant other and I shared an Artisan Cheese Flight that featured fine cheeses from France, Spain and Switzerland, brought in regularly from the Ideal Cheese Shop in Manhattan. A fine grain mustard complimented the selections, along with an assortment of nuts and dried fruits. Seven speciality salads are offered and can be ordered as full or half portions. The inspired entrees include selections such as Polynesian Tuna, served with toasted macadamia nuts, encrusted in crispy phyllo and served rate with coconut-curry sauce and fresh chipotle-mango salsa. Duck Mojo with polenta cakes looked delicious, as did the Rock Shrimp, Crab & Corn Cakes combo. There is a full sandwich and lite fare menu as well, with features such as Cuban Paninis, a Caprese Wrap and Calamari Po' Boy. All of the burgers are handcrafted from locally sourced and naturally raised black angus beef. There is also a Polynesian turkey burger and Veggie Burger available. As for the drink menu - it is extremely expansive. Beer lovers alert - there are 10 brews on tap, all craft and an extensive bottle list. There is also a very impressive wine and cocktail list, as well as single malt scotches, ports, cognacs, brandies and perfect espresso. Realizing that not everyone enjoys smoking a cigar and not boasting any expertise on the subject, I will add that there is a 2,000 foot humidor patrons can enter and browse to make their selections. The expert staff will allow you to take a leisurely stroll past all the boxes, tins and singles and are pleased to answer any questions and make recommendations. I had the pleasure of my first trip to Leaf yesterday. Armed with cigars from Famous, we proceeded to have a seat at the bar and enjoy lunch. The service was attentive and friendly. Our bartender/ server was very helpful and we were not left waiting for anything. Lunch was wonderful. I ordered the caprese wrap and it was just delicious! I cannot wait to test more from their menu, as it all looks excellent. Everything is very clean and inviting, and we had a great afternoon. As a cigar smoker I'm a huge fan of cigar bars. Especially since I live in an area where smoking is now prohibited in restaurants. Also I've been a happy customer of the Famous Smoke Shop for about a year now, so when I saw that they were building a cigar bar and a retail store next to each other, I knew I had to make the trip out. The establishment has multiple seating options including the bar, high-top tables and tables for two. Walking in there's a chalkboard with the specials for the day and at the host's stand there is a glass cabinet with a selection of some of the cigars they sell to enjoy during your meal. There are two TVs at the bar and easy listening music adds a calm atmosphere. I came here for lunch so I did not have anything from the bar, but I did see that they have a very nice selection of beers and spirits. As far as the meal goes I was incredibly satisfied. I had a cup of the Roasted Tomato Bisque which was very flavorful. My friend and I split an order of the Hand Breaded Mozzarella Poppers which were good, but the breading didn't have a lot of flavor to it so we found ourselves relying on the marinara sauce for dipping. My friend ordered the lunch special which was a half sandwich and a cup of soup. The sandwich was grilled chicken with peppers and an aioli spread, the soup was a fajita type soup that contained both spiced and sweet meats that he enjoyed very much. I figured I'd go basic and had the Capa Burger which is a burger with cheddar cheese and bacon, fries on the side. The burger was enjoyable, seasoned and cooked to perfection. After our meal we decided on some ice cream, I had the pumpkin cheesecake ice cream which was great and though I am not a fan of pumpkin, this hit the spot and I also had an espresso. My friend had the mint chocolate chip ice cream which he also enjoyed. I noticed that they use full chocolate chips unlike most of the mint chocolate chips you see. It was a great meal and the cigar smoking made it that much better. We also had a certificate from a Yelp deal so for $40 worth of food it came to $20 not including tip. Not bad at all if you ask me. Even though it's a bit of a drive for me I absolutely see myself coming here again and checking out what the rest of the menu has to offer. I would definitely like to check out the place for dinner and see what the evening atmosphere is like. Pros: - You can enjoy a cigar with your meal - You can walk next door and pickup some cigars on the way out - Delicious food and quiet atmosphere - Reasonable prices Cons: - Service was somewhat slow for the time of day we were there, the place wasn't full and I felt that our server could have visited a bit more frequently. Excellent!!! Spur of the moment decision to go to dinner. Checked Yelp and found Leaf, read the reviews....all good, casual attire....great, reviewed menu...reasonable prices....sounds good. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Must have been a slow night, we had the pick of tables. It was a Monday evening. Started with red wine and toasted coconut martini. For our dinner we enjoyed the Tender grilled locally sourced Black Angus sirloin steak with Belgian frites, horseradish aioli and creamed spinach gratineé, and the Leaf burger. The meal was delicious. Would definately order again. Our service was very good as well as the atmosphere. I am not a smoker, I found the cigar smoking within the restaurant to be tolerable. Not from the PA area, I was looking for a place to have an interesting dinner in an area not known for the resturant saturation I am use too. I was given a recommendation to try the leaf and was pleasantly surprised. This American bistro has many choices ranging from the normal, steak, to the absurd, a 2 layered stuffed bacon cheese burger with 2 pounds of fries. I opted for a sirloin which was cooked perfectly medium rare. Sadly, the steak was glazed with a whiskey maple syrup sauce that was more pancake syrup than anything else. All served with an oddly small portion of veggies and mashed potatoes. The real reason to come though is the cigars. You can openly smoke from a wide range of cigars in a beautiful wood bar setting. From high tops to plush chairs, you can smoke, eat, drink, and watch the game. A really unique place I am glad I stumbled in on. PS. Leaf was closed for a time, and now seems to have a new management and a very different philosophy. Previously, the restaurant was quieter, and closer to a fine dining experience. Now it want to be a more mainstream sports bar. Last night the restaurant was so noisy my wife and I were practically shouting at each other. The new menu is less adventuresome, the reduced Scotch and Wine lists are totally predictable (and rather mainstream) and the servers seemed overwhelmed. Ordinarily I won't drive an hour for a burger and a beer, but distance doesn't matter if I am getting a great food, drink, and cigar experience. My $36 ribeye was okay but not noteworthy and not cooked as requested. "Stuffed" chicken promised cheese, but lacked any inside.However, it was moist and had an interesting sauce. Asparagus wasn't properly trimmed, and smashed potatoes were unevenly cooked. Even the interesting idea behind dessert, Apple Cigars, was doughy and lacked proper execution. This is not the standard Leaf previously delivered. And no matter how well intentioned, this new direction from "experience" to sports bar may not actually serve the bottom line better, as we didn't see many tables turning. Just a lot of cigar smokers hanging around watching television. If being able to enjoy a cigar is the only reason to drive to Leaf, we will likely return far less often. or wait until summer, when we can sit outside... assuming the new management plans to keep that Leaf tradition. read more

If you like cigars, their selection is awesome and prices are decent. By far, the best bacon I have ever had in my entire life. First we had a Groupon to Leaf, which was for a 4 course only menu. Food wasn't bad. Mussels & salad for starters & wife had chicken & I had a Porkchop, again good. The bad we wait almost 10 minutes before waitress greeted us, we ordered a bottle of wine, which she couldn't open. She did get a bit better after that. Also bad is people smoking where u eat & yes I know it's a cigar place, thus they should have smoke eaters. And I smoke cigars, just not when I eat. The place is very nicely decorated. This is a sausage fest as well, though a table of women were there, but it's Pennsytucky so not so much on the good looking side. I used to come here all the time and I loved every meal as much as the last, but recently when my family decided to pick up dinner we were very disappointed the moment we tried the food. All the food was burnt to a crisp. The burgers were charred and almost crunchy, and the fire burgers were so drenched in sauce, both in the cheese and soaked under it that there was no flavor left and the lettuce and tomato had been wilted and cooked by the sauce. I was told that the cook was named Terry. I plead that the management look into this cook, because a burger that intense with no warning could severely harm someone with high blood pressure! I still HIGHLY recommend famous smoke shop. Nikki is absolutely amazing! But I will never dine at leaf ever again. Nor will I recommend it to anyone. read more

The Leaf IS tucked back in what looks like an industrial park. BUT it is a destination if you are a cigar smoker.... or even if you are not. The establishment is very comfortable and classy , not smokey like one might expect. The food is great, drinks at reasonable prices and they have specials. Stopped in over the weekend, Sunday March 29th. Mainly came to relax watch some college basketball and smoke a cigar. Basically more of the cigar/lounge setting. Place is very spacious, different options to sit, between high chairs, bar, and/or lounge area. While I was there I grew an appetite, so I decided to try the wings. I order the Garlic & Asiago wings. They did not disappoint. Excellent. Fried just right and they even came with strips of Asiago on top of the wings. My overall experience was great. I literally came just for a cigar, but the entire atmosphere was great. If you're looking to chill out, have a bite, watch a game, grab a drink, this is a great spot to do so. Crabby Mac is an awesome appetizer and if you're not worried about your cholesterol like me, you've got to try the smokehouse burger. Two thick strips of bacon atop a delicious burger. I'm sure there are other delicious items on that menu, but.ive only tried the goat cheese with strawberries, which was also very good. The staff is also very friendly, in the humidor as well as at the bar and restaurant. Visited today for the first time in forever. Waited 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. They bartender, who was busy, finally stopped to address us because there were no other employees to be seen. She then stopped again to seat us, as still no one else showed. After sitting for 20 minutes and still not being so much as greeted to say someone would be right with us, we walked out. The two people in the retail store were the only people concerned why we were leaving looking less than happy. We used to enjoy coming to Leaf and like to frequent as one of the employees is a family member. We will not be going back. Used to be a great place with great service.
