We were in Pennsylvania from Boston visiting my dad for St. Patrick's Day. We heard about Leaf having Irish food and bagpipes to celebrate on the radio. We drove two hours excited about our night at Leaf. It's a really nice place except they could use a better exhaust in the dining / bar area. It was tremendously Smokey. We ordered corn beef dinner and the Shepard's Pie. Shepards pie was decent and the corned beef was terrible. All of the meat was fatty, no carrots, no turnip, and the cabbage was so small and hard...the waitress said the cook was from Boston which surprised me for what I was served. The bagpiper only played two songs. He was more interested in drinking and smoking cigars which was a let down. The atmosphere was great but the music was scarce and some of the food was terrible. We sat in the retail area and he smoked a cigar. We walked through the humidor and purchased a cigar. Overall the experience was ok. It may be that I'm used to more love for the holiday. read more

I am what you would call the occasional cigar smoker. I have been hearing thier commercials for months and decided to try then out. It was a 25 min. ride from Bethlehem, it's in an unexpected location, but logical one, next to the warehouse. But don't by any means discourage you from coming. The place is awesome, beautiful dining,lounge and bar area. The food is top notch if you were wondering, so if you like an occasional cigar, or if you have someone who is an cigar afficianado,treat them to Leaf's. I use to love this place but I had the worst experience today. I ordered a fire burger which I expected to be spicy but received a sandwich soaked in sauce that destroyed the taste of the beef. I understand that Terry the cook is not professionally trained but they need better quality checks of the food before it is sent out. Smoky oasis on the edge of Easton. It's a Cigar Bar, so people smoke everywhere. The ventilation is usually adequate for the amount going on. If you are ok with this you will find a great surprise with a nice restaurant and bar that is very comfortable to watch sports and relax. Beer menu was previously better, now with craft options being pricey and not pint pours as well as poor options. Stick with the daily Yuengling special. Service is good, but understaffed. Love this place it's my favorite casual place to eat. The menu items are adventurous but not far fetched. Prices are very reasonable. Top shelf selection of Scotch, Bourbon & Rum. What an interesting menu! We shared first a 'smoked. Caesar salad...OMG TO DIE FOR. Second we shared 'Ma - The meatloaf' equally scrumptious to the first course and then we topped it all off with chocolate ice cream infused with Jack Daniels YUM and chocolate covered whipped strawberry cheese cake!!! We sometimes stop by Famous Smoke to refill my husband's humidors and decided to stop at Leaf for a nice dinner. There was a private event going on during our visit but they were happy to accommodate us for dinner. The menu was limited that night but this is our third visit so we knew the menu would still be lovely. We tried the Crabby Balls, Tony's empanadas, and tomato bisque with melted cheese. All dishes were fantastic, not to mention, the drinks as well. Nice and strong. The check in offer was a nice touch too since I got a free dessert. Creme brûlée - always a winner! Rocky Patel happened to be a guest at this event, selling his brand of cigars which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. It was interesting to hear his story on how he got into the cigar business. I would highly recommend this place for the cigar enthusiast and for those looking for a gift. This place won't leave you disappointed. I find a learn something new here every time I visit! Pretty disappointed. I was looking for a place to have dinner with outdoor seating since it was such a beautiful night. I checked out Yelp and decided to try Leaf. Given that it was a holiday weekend, I called to make reservations. I was told that they don't take reservations for outdoor seating, but since we'd be there by 5 pm it shouldn't be a problem getting an outside table. I said that it would be just me and my two boys. When we arrived, we were turned away because the restaurant does not allow kids. I explained that I called and specifically said that it was me and my two kids and we wanted to be seated outdoors. Wasted 40 minute drive. I knew about the smoking and that's specifically why I asked when I called thinking that outside seating would not be an issue since I also wanted to enjoy a good cigar. read more

Leaf was great!! My husband and stopped in to check it out and have a drink. The drink menu sounded awesome!! We ended up ordering some appetizers also. The drinks were great and I was surprised at how great the food was!! I am not a smoker, but the place seemed well ventilated and there is also outdoor seating. I thought it was interesting how they suggested different cigars to pair with certain foods and drinks. They also had a cigar roller on site the night we were there which was really cool. Wow this place is in the middle of nowhere! I find it hard to believe it's technically "Easton" but so the address says. If it wasn't for the location I would give 4 stars but I find it hard to have a reason good enough to drive to this place. Beer selection is very good but prices are very high, especially for being literally in the middle of a corn field. The cigar selection was good, those prices were more reasonable. Food selection was limited but good, again prices too high. Service was very good. So maybe worth one stop if you are in the area, not sure why you would be though unless you were farming. read more

First, let me express my deepest love for their menu. They have an excellent beer selection and top shelf whiskeys to choose from. We recently went for a Halloween burlesque show and WOW! It exceeded our expectations. Classy and fun. Chad was tending bar and he's always professional. It's a smoking environment, yet non smokers that have come with are never bothered due to the excellent exhaust system. Definitely one of my go to places. Did I mention their grilled cheese sandwich? I went with a friend for dinner. The menu looks great. There are a lot of great options on there. Unfortunately, I must have picked the wrong entree. I got the rack of ribs with a side of garlic parm fries and Mac and cheese. The ribs were incredibly tough. I couldn't pull the bones apart by hand, and I even had trouble getting through with a knife. On top of that, I think they were cut wrong because there were bones in there that shouldn't have been there. I ended up not eating half of it. Also, my mac and cheese tasted odd and was watery...old bay seasoning I think? Fries were average. My friends sirloin was cooked right and was tender. He couldn't eat his Mac and cheese either. The smoke in there isn't bad. We got there before it was busy and the smoke was barely noticeable. As we left, you could notice it a little bit, but it definitely isn't an issue. It is a cigar bar, so you should expect a little. I really wanted to like this place, but those ribs put a damper on my experience. I feel like the sandwiches or burgers would be good here. If this was just a restaurant, I'd probably give two stars, but the overall environment was nice so I factored that in to a 3 star. I might go back if the opportunity arises. This was a wonderful surprise!! I was in NJ for the weekend. We wanted to get a good quality cigar. I found this place on YELP.. And headed on over. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there with the huge humidor and awesome selection of cigars. The guys in there really know their stuff!!! I was part of the party with Kathy, and needed to also share my experience. Cigar bar, so even though I'm not a smoker, I'm not going to complain about that aspect. I was hopeful the food would help me forget about that. The absolute worst service ever though! For an appetizer, I ordered (as did most of the table) the French onion soup, which was really good actually. However, I had to ask the waitress about the chicken quesadillas I also ordered, and she said they were coming up. (They did show up eventually). But in the middle of enjoying our appetizers, someone in our party had to ask the waitress if we could order our meals. I thought it was strange that she hadn't taken our order for dinner before apps even came out, but still wasn't too concerned. Yes, the 2+ hour wait for a meal was absolutely true, and ridiculous. We had reservations for 7:00, and at 9:00, there was still no sign of our meals. Someone in our party inquired, and the waitress assured us that our ticket was in the window, and we would get it in 10 minutes. Nope. We just asked for our checks. The manager came over and said there was a "technical glitch" that she wasn't made aware of. Really? So the human aspect, the fact that our waitress, and you, as the manager, couldn't see for yourselves that a large party was sitting around for hours with no food wasn't sufficient?! The manager offered us gift cards for a future return, to which someone in our party rightfully protested, "I don't want to come back here." After this entire debacle, we all received our checks, and as Kathy noted in her review, were not comped a dime for this horrendous experience. read more
