A new place on East side! The glasses are cold, the drinks are spot on and the food (at least the…read moretacos) are great. They had plenty of servers who knew their stuff and the ambiance is a darker sports lounge vibe. Love's menu is quite eclectic as they traverse the food landscapes of "American", Hispanic, and Asian. Their sushi bar looks interesting- I look forward to trying it when I return and I'll update my review accordingly. I was surprised how empty the place was on a weekend night- I hope they can survive and thrive as a fresh hangout on the East side.

Hey everyone so I decided to try this new spot in Allentown call Love's Lounge. I think it's been…read moreopen for about a year. The waitress is nice and very attentive. They have a little outside seating and all the way in the back is a lounge area. They are open from 12pm to 2am. We went around 7pm on a Saturday evening. FYI they do have their own parking. It wasn't that packed around that time. Their food menu is nice. So we order for drinks a Honey comb and a The Uprising as well as the Pink Dragon . The uprising is pretty much a tequila sunrise lol the only difference is they added whipped cream on top.For appetizers we order the sweet and hot wings with the bone(they have a boneless option as well). As well as the bacalaitos. For the entrees we order the surf and turf (lobster tail )mofongo with garlic sauce ugh just amazing. The other entree was white rice beans and toastones with churrasco . If you like hookah they do serve that as well let me not forget for all my sushi lovers they do have a sushi station and when I say the chef makes the sushi look so pretty you get to see it made right in front of you . The only downfall I would bring up is that gratuity is all ready included and sheeesh it's 18%. Other than that I would go again to see how the vibe is for the lounge at a later time . Oh and to get some more food because that mofongo was delicious.

The atmosphere was nice however the service staff were nonexistent. When told to sit anywhere we…read moreliked the waitress brought us menus and then walked away. We were a party of four, and we took the time to socialize however after about 15 minutes the waitress returned and did take our drink orders along with an appetizer order. The busboy brought our appetizers and quickly walked away leaving us to find our own napkins for the finger food. At this point we knew the night was going to be sad, when we received our food before the busboy could leave again we asked if he could bring us some cutlery. We ordered two meals with my strip steaks and one penne pasta dish and one Mac and cheese dish, the pasta plates were the best simply due to the charcoal burnt ends of the steaks. The waitress remained vacant for the night and we had to request our bill to leave. Not quite sure what was the problem this night however just stay cautious and calm if you visit.

Spelling). Right after the opening we enjoyed Buddy, I thought this was his show, then following Buddy we enjoyed another comic (sooo sorry- loved him but his name escapes me!) I thought it was the 2nd performers show, then come Joe! Three talented & accomplished comedians in their own right. We had a wonderful time last night. I haven't been to a comedy show in almost 30 years. It was a lot of fun and so much fun to laugh. The comedians did a great job improving w the audience. I would also like to add that our cocktail server was very attentive. If you go- The Vault is on The Raddison side and we parked on the casino side. Easy enough to get to though with the adjoining inside hallways. I'll definitely go back. I never even knew that this quality entertainment was practically right in my backyard!

After leaving a recent review at the Father-restaurant Kabinett, it feels appropriate to do so…read morehere. This is a firmly casual atmosphere- part café, part bierhall, part grocery, and most importantly- Curated Wine Shoppe. The ambience- bloody enormous! It was an auto garage! The outdoor patio is also large- standard Bierhall bench seating or stand overlooking the river and 'Free Bridge', as the locals colloquially refer to it. Pagoda to keep the sun off. The café- standard coffee options, and a few pastries. I believe the pastries used to be done in house (a couple had Moroccan flavours), but now, done by the wonderful duet Pie+Tart. The Bierhall- firstly- they stock Ayinger. This is my favourite Braurei in Germany. Nothing pleases me more than to see several brews- especially the Brauweiß. There are about 15 beers from which to choose, most being less common/higher quality German Brews. There are also some American brews by Von Trapp in Vermont- who also focus on German styles. Good prices. Served in the proper Becher glassware- or suck on a bottle. The Grocery- focusing on Australian dry goods and some necessities. This harkens back to the old Silk Mill location- sans the candies. I've bought some higher quality spices here. THE Wine Shoppe. Since this part of the venture opened, it has become my go-to for most of my wine. He stocks wine which you will not see anywhere else. The focus is on Austrian/German, and Australian wines. Cheap to expensive. Walking the horseshoe from left to right, you start in the White Brut/Sekt, to the Grüner, to the Red /Rot Sekt. In the centre are the cheaper wines, and a good amount of Rosé. While I say cheaper, that does not mean inferior by any means. One of our household favourites has become Fritz's Rosé. I will take the time to discuss the Wines mostly- I was introduced to many Weingut here- Moric, George Breuer, Fritz and many others. The selection rotates, but there are some mainstays. Try to find the proprietor- Jason- walk the Shoppe with him and ask questions. I have never once been steered astray. The focus thankfully is the drier side of Wine- Old and New World. You will not be inundated with the same rubbish Napa Valley and PA wines other proprietors carry. This Shoppe is for those who have an Old World palette and feel the necessity to always pay restaurant premiums. Remember, at a restaurant, you are paying for the wine, plus the storage, Som, and service. You can also buy chilled wine. You can also buy wine to consume there (different list due to LCB Legalities).
