It's nice to have good food and drinks served fast in a hotel after a long day. Happy hour 4-6pm is $5 drinks for the most part, over 50% off martinis. The martinis were great, some not as advertised for example one said it would be served with gummy bears but there weren't any so it was slightly less fun to drink. Music is fun and random people would be singing around the bar to themselves. The burgers were fantastic and served quickly- I recommend both the Cajun and Swiss bourbon burgers with the crispy fries. They get you in with one free drink per stay at the hotel. There are a few large games to play like connect 4 and foosball as well. read more

Surprise! Hiding at the Comfort Inn you will find this decent lounge/bar. Walk in the lobby, turn right down the hall past a few rooms and then left into the bar. Drink special was good, $2 lager. Food special looked decent as well, I would suggest checking this place out as an option for you local bar scene. read more

I am in no way a food critic, but I've had my share of the best and worst that this world has to offer when it comes to culinary experiences. For these reasons, I am compelled to share my thoughts about The Lounge at the Baymont Hotel in Bartonsville Pennsylvania. First a little about myself which quantifies my review. I've traveled the world over for more than 4 decades, visiting over 125 countries and staying at the most elegant of hotels in Europe, South America nd other continents, to even the smallest shanty's across Southeast Asia. I've indulged in every type of cuisine imaginable; from the traditional to the somewhat absurd. Which leads me to leave this shining review of The Lounge at the Baymont. First of all lets hit my favorites,... "The Appetizers". If you're looking for a selection of delicious combinations to get things rolling, this menu offers a good mix of staple goodies such as Savory Bacon Ranch Cheese Fries, Chicken Tenders, Spring Rolls, Wings & Dips. There are a mix of appealing favorites from the Tex-Mex Chili Bowl to the Soups and Salads. You will be pleased at the attention to detail that is given to these Intermezzo selections that prepare your taste buds for the "Main Event". Now let us get to the entrees and such. You will no doubt enjoy the Burgers that are open to your almost every wish; from how it's prepared to the variety is succulent toppings. Whatever you do, don't pass up the Flatbreads. My family's favorite is the Philly Cheesesteak. Trust me, you won't regret it. Just a few weeks ago my immediate family gathered at The Lounge for my 65th birthday. We shared a compliment of menu items including the Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread. It drew raves was across the tables, that even put a smile on my three-year-old grandsons lips. No matter if you desire a simple Cheesesteak or Wrap, or if you want to go over the top with a Strip Steak, Pulled Pork or Chicken Parmesan Dinner, you will absolutely be pleased with whatever is served here at The Lounge. Now let me be clear it is obvious that even though Covid-19 restriction mandates food establishments to limit menu selections, the Lounge's offerings are exceptionally robust and abundant. I would absolutely recommend The Lounge at the Baymont as it has become one of my family's favorites to dine at during my stay. If you are traveling or simply a local in the Monroe County area, I suggest that you visit The Lounge at the Baymont I assure you, it will it be an experience that you will completely enjoy. This place is sexist and has no class! They kicked us out for wearing fashionable hats. I called to speak to a manager and they said we don't allow hats and we will deny anyone we want to. They only asked the men to to take off their hats not the women. Sexist. With that said, I can spend money in this place until I vomit all over their dance floor but I can't wear a fashionable sweater? Unreal! The owner or mgr yelled at me on the phone. The good: 1. Wing night on Wednesday - 30-cent wings. Great deal. 2. $5 martinis from 5-7 on weeknights. And they're GOOD martinis. Tons of flavors, very generous sizes. 3. Location - right off 611 and Rt. 33, in between Mt. Pocono and Stroudsburg. Great place if you need to meet up with a bunch of people coming from different locations. 4. People - nice crowd. 5. GREAT outdoor area for summer, volleyball court, pets welcome outdoors. 6. On premises is a hotel, so you can always stay over if you drink too much. The okay: Service - hit or miss, mostly hit, but sometimes miss. The bad: 1. You have to pay extra for celery, and sometimes they don't have it at all (hello, this is kind of an expectation with wings). 2. Gets super crowded some weekends. 3. DJ won't play certain songs. I guess they're worried a fight might break out or something? 4. You have to pay to check your coat in the winter. Totally unacceptable - it's PA, people have to wear coats in winter. Instead, they should have a complimentary coat check with a tip jar for whoever is checking coats. I like this place a lot - they try really hard to keep people happy and do new things. The Poconos sorely needed a place like this. They just need to improve the nickel and dining stuff (celery, coat check, etc) to move up a little and earn more stars. Overall, a great value, with nice people, and a great place to have a girls' night or a date. read more

I love this place. I've been here about four times, once for a 30th birthday party, once for their Halloween party, and twice for drinks and bar food during Covid-19. I have been happy every time. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Their daily drink and food specials are great. Portions are big and so far all of our choices have been good. The bartenders have always been great, super friendly and attentive. I think it's our new go-to for a drink. There's also a large patio for outdoor seating. In addition, the hotel rents out the indoor pool for parties. read more

I was going to rate this place well because the Bartenders are nice and the Music is decent. So I contacted the establishment about a complaint I had for the night, the person who contacted me in regards to this was the Marketing/Sales Director. The man named Steve Ertle was horrifically rude and condescending. When a Patron has any type of feedback you'd expect an employee to contact them in a professional manner. Professional was not even close to how this man reacted. He had the nerve to call me a liar about my feelings as well, told me to not to write any more ridiculous e-mails, and do not waste my life. To speak to someone who came to visit The Baymont Inn is absolutely DISGUSTING. I cannot fathom how this is allowed and I will be contacting the owner as well is this man's supervisor. I don't understand why a marketing personnel would be even responding to complaints but this is by far the worst and most disgusting person I've ever spoken to in my entire life and I DO NOT recommend this place because of the nasty man working for this establishment! The mail I sent to the place was one basically stating that I am disappointed that they advertised cash prizes for diff costume categories and I decided specifically to come to this establishment to complete so I can win $$ for my daughter's memorial stone. I even called the place to verify there was cash for these categories so there would be no mix ups prior to me attending. If I would've known that they were only going to hand out free drink coupons I would've attended another spot where they actually did hand out cash for costumes. The response received: I'm writing in regards to your email. The Lounge gave out over $1000 in cash and prizes by the time the night was done as I added more prizes onto the night. The night was advertised with different categories of winners. There were over 450 people that attended the LOUNGE party making it the largest one in the Poconos! You were recognized as one of the many winners we had that night. Where you bought your costume or how much you spent is no concern of the LOUNGE as many people did the same. To act like you were the Grand prize winner and that because you did not get prize money to put to your daughter's memorial stone that this was a lie is ridiculous by saying that and you should really take a hard look at what your writing. The LOUNGE is for adults, if you are of the mindset that Jock & Jill's is superior by all means please party there. The Lounge puts out more prizes than any club in the area by far. This place is not all that it seems. As of late, service there has gone downhill depending on what days you go and who are the bartenders! Prices have recently went up so if your into wings go during those wing nite or half off apps other wise look to spend about $13 dollars for a dozen wings (insane)... Other food there is decent but also look at the prices if your there on a regular night. drink wise there is a good variety, and prices for drinks are a hit and miss depending on what you get Needless to say I won't go back myself unless I know what bartenders are there.
