We had a great time at a friends bridal shower in one of the event spaces! It was very clean and spacious. The service was great! The waiters were very attentive. The food was excellent and was able to be made gluten free for guests. Overall, we had a great experience!

Blue is easily the standout among the Paxos restaurants in Allentown. The steaks are consistently cooked to perfection, the menu has real depth, and the pricing is surprisingly fair for a steakhouse of this caliber. Solid wine list, attentive staff, and--most importantly--the Hawaiian pie is non-negotiable. Grab it every time.

This is a place I tend to revisit, so I figured I would update my review. One of my favorites is the blackened salmon sandwich without the bun. I also had their French onion soup which was also very good. If you are partaking, they also have a great drink menu.

Food was excellent along with staff and ambiance. We felt well taken care of by staff.

I'm embarrassed that I grew up in the Lehigh Valley and it took until well after I'd moved out of the area to visit Blue. I attended a group brunch here and was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. I'm still thinking about the Cajun Braised Chicken Breast Étouffée months later. It was the envy of the table, and I would order it again and again. My wife was very happy with her burger and fries as well.

We had a really nice meal here for the holidays. The service was great and so was the food. We got a little bit of everything and shared it all. I would love to come back here and try other entrees.

Came here for dinner and had such a great experience. There are a lot of options to choose from, even for gluten free eaters. All of the meals, whether it be a side/app/entree are HUGE. No one finished anything because everything was gigantic. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server was fantastic. We had our own room that comfortably fit 10 and it was both quiet and clean. This is a great place and I highly recommend.

We have been here twice, and both times were amazing! We love the ambiance, service, and the food is excellent. Of course, expect to spend some $$$ for dinner; we limit it to special occasions. We plan to return for our ten year anniversary this winter.

Enjoyed my lack of lamb but especially enjoyed the chocolate mousse cake I got for dessert! This place has such a nice ambiance, with very attentive wait staff, and a nice long list of cocktails. I will warn the chocolate mousse cake was HUGE! Definitely too much for me to eat on my own, would recommend sharing with at least one other.

Lunch a few weeks ago was good. Our server didn't come back for beverage reorders. Appreciate the opportunity to comment.

Why the sour reviews? They all reflect some kind of ambivalent emotional response- vindictive even…read more We have been coming here since they opened, and frequented his prior establishment at the Silk Mill. Nowt a bad experience. The menu is appropriate to the wine. This is a Wine Bar- that is the focus. Jason, the proprietor knows his trade very well, and is not bashful to discuss it, his passion for it, and his history in said trade. Said passion runs thoroughly deep, and his wealth of knowledge may even supersede this. The monthly Wine Dinners showcase his unending search for lesser known, and often hard to find wines within the contiguous United States- Jason being an ex-pat Aussie. I've come to expect a bit of a story and charade with each dinner- and experience. I like that the sampled wines are all generally for sale. The food is usually paired very well, and executed as such. There do seem to be a regularly rotating staff, but that's irrelevant to the experiences. It's his show. Sometimes the portions can be a bit too large at the dinners, and that says a lot for the price- very fair. As for the restaurant proper, the portions are fine. His curated charcuterie board is spectacular, and local. The Bavarian aspect is appreciated quite well. I miss Zum Stammtisch in NY- now, that does not mean this is a German Restaurant, but there are enough influences and pop-up fare that ist es wunderbar! His schnitzels are always thin as paper, crispy as seashells, and delightfully tasty. We always have the German Fare when it's available, as it so often it. For a state populated by/with so many Germans, this is THE ONLY good true German food around. The overall decor is a bit dim (lighting) and old world European- this is not negative- I prefer this to modern settings. There is a 'secret' Narnia room which is reserved for parties of 12 or more. I quite like the concept- though have not used it- had the tour. Again, the wine list is incredibly extensive, and you can always find what you want. Ask. Then, visit the curated wine shop next door! Truly one of a kind. That's another review. Book the specialty dinners weeks in advance as they generally sell out, but pop on a standard night, as there are usually a few tables open. Sit at the bar and chat with the staff about the wines- it's an adventure.

Very quaint spot located in Easton. We stopped in on a Sunday evening about an hour before closing,…read moreand the restaurant was fairly quiet. Camille, our server, was excellent. While the food wasn't personally my favorite, a few dishes stood out--especially the Roman-style grilled artichoke, which had the perfect crispness, along with the lobster ravioli and the German apple cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The flavors overall leaned earthy, which may just not be my personal preference, as my parents love this place and are regulars. I would definitely come back for wine and appetizers. The restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and is truly unique, with nothing else quite like it in the Lehigh Valley.

They specialize in wood-fired pizza we but decided to order entrees instead. A waiter brought water right after we were seated and then ordered drinks. A waitress came with our drinks and took our food order. She was very nice. We both ordered the Baby Greens salad and Filet Mignons. The salads were very fresh and had candied walnuts, blueberries and mandarin oranges in them. These were really delicious. The Filets came with potato gratin and vegetable sides. The steaks were cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. I also enjoyed the potato side, but not so much the vegetables. Overall the food was fantastic and the service just as good. I will definitely be coming back.

SURV Restaurant Group Dinner Experience Background…read moreOur Over-55 Community organizes monthly dinners as a way to bring residents together and foster a sense of camaraderie. For this month's gathering, we selected SURV restaurant as our venue, and arrangements for the group dinner were made more than two months in advance. The planning process included coordination with Janet, SURV's Event Coordinator, and our latest communication with her took place just two days prior to the scheduled event. Arrival and Reservation Issues Upon arrival at SURV for our group dinner, we were unexpectedly informed by the restaurant staff that there was no reservation under our name and that they had no record of any group booking. Despite presenting evidence of our communications--including emails and text messages the staff maintained that our reservation did not exist. Interaction with Management During this confusion, a woman named Carol, who identified herself as the owner, intervened. Carol reiterated that there was no reservation for our group and stated that the restaurant could not and would not serve us. When confronted with our documentation, she insisted that it was not the restaurant's responsibility and declined to accommodate our party, even though the restaurant was empty at the time. Her attitude was described as abusive and condescending, and she subsequently left the scene by retreating to a back room. Reflection on the Experience While it is understandable that communication errors can occur, we expected a reputable establishment to acknowledge the issue and make an effort to resolve it. Instead, the management's response was marked by arrogance and condescension, which was disappointing and unacceptable. Furthermore, we have since heard similar stories from others regarding the management at SURV, which lends credibility to rumors of financial instability within the restaurant. Community Response As a result of this experience, our community--which consists of approximately 450 homes located within three miles of the restaurant--will no longer consider SURV for future events nor will we grace the establishment.

The aged steaks are well prepared, and the 500-degree plate presentation does what it is designed to do. The sizzling plate may impress first-timers, but it is straight from the national chain playbook and no longer feels special. It preserves heat, not originality. Sides are à la carte and priced aggressively for what are essentially standard steakhouse accompaniments. They are fine. They are not memorable. At this price point, diners reasonably expect at least one dish that shows some imagination. The wine list is the biggest disappointment. It reads like a Pennsylvania "Chairman's Selection" circular rather than a curated cellar. Safe, widely available bottles dominate, with little depth or personality. For a restaurant positioning itself as an upscale destination, that lack of curation is hard to ignore. Service was professional and the dining room attractive. If you want a reliable local steakhouse and do not mind paying for it, Three Oaks will meet expectations. If you are looking for distinction or a reason to return beyond convenience, you may find it difficult to justify the bill.
