SURV has a fantastic, modern aesthetic with great high-backed booths and excellent lighting. The menu is eclectic yet limited. Even so, my girlfriend and I were able to find dishes we enjoyed. Overall, the service is great. However, the timing with dishes can be a bit too far apart. The food is really solid. If you love entrees on the sweet side, it is ideal, but dishes with less sugar would be welcomed. Their Brussel sprouts are amazing as is their stellar baked brie. (The latter is sweet but the balance is spot-on.) My girlfriend loved her thick and tender pork chop. I tried it as well and it was fantastic. I recommend their melt-in-your-mouth braised ribs and their chocolate peanut butter pie is so outrageous, it should be illegal. We are surprised this restaurant is not packed but this may be due to the service since they are usually understaffed. read more

I decided to return to Surv in Easton which I hadn't been to in over 5 years. The restaurant is smartly decorated and welcoming. You wouldn't know it was in a mall from the inside. They specialize in wood-fired pizza we but decided to order entrees instead. A waiter brought water right after we were seated and then ordered drinks. A waitress came with our drinks and took our food order. She was very nice. We both ordered the Baby Greens salad and Filet Mignons. The salads were very fresh and had candied walnuts, blueberries and mandarin oranges in them. These were really delicious. The Filets came with potato gratin and vegetable sides. The steaks were cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. I also enjoyed the potato side, but not so much the vegetables. Overall the food was fantastic and the service just as good. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Surv offers a wilted salad that I truly delicious. It is mixed with shaved Brussels and you can add your own protein. Their pizzas are very tasty and filling but the pork chop is probably the best that I had this lifetime. I ordered it on three occasions and it never fails. Succulent, flavorful, thick and well seasoned. They offer nice cocktails, several wines as well. I definitely would recommend this restaurant for outdoor (large attached gazebo with TV screens) seating as well as indoor The one thing that I would recommend is to not reserve for 4:30 or 5pm. Oddly, they are inundate with multiple reservations at that time which can result in delays in your food coming out within 40 mins (like mothers/fathers/Valentine's Day) Don't let this discourage you at all but consider this on those type of occasions Try it. You will not be sorry. Great chef, excellent food and quantity read more

If you're looking for a chill yet elegant spot for date night or a celebration, SURV Restaurant is a solid pick. The vibe is cozy and classy, with dim lighting and beautiful decor that make it feel special without being over the top. The service was great--our server was super kind, knew the menu inside and out, and gave some really good recommendations. She checked in just the right amount, making sure we had everything we needed without hovering. The food? Really good and worth the price. Some might say it's a little on the expensive side, but everything is fresh and made to order, so it feels justified. We started with the Trio Fryz, which came with solid dipping sauces (the BBQ sauce was the standout). The Baked Brie was nice, and the Crab Cream Cheese Egg Rolls? A total hit--easily a 10/10. For the main course, we had the Chicken and "Waffle." The "waffle" was actually mac and cheese, which was a fun twist. The chicken was seasoned perfectly--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely a dish we'd order again. Overall, the whole experience was super enjoyable. Great food, awesome service, and a laid-back but classy atmosphere. 8/10 recommend! read more

2 hours wasted because they where so slow. 7pm reservation and didn't get to the main course until 8:40. The filet mignon came out covered in gravy. An good chef knows filet gets braised butter or wine. Gravy is for lower quality meat such as meatloaf. It was so tough I couldn't cut it. Asked my partner to try and he also said it was extremely tough. I sent it back asking the chef what he thought.. the waiter said he thought it was ok. I said I would just take it home. When the waiter went for it he said the chef threw it in the garbage. I got nothing for a $51 entree. Will never go back and will never recommend. read more

I came here on a Saturday night at primetime for a little girls night out dinner. We were greeted promptly and we did make a reservation in advance. The place was pretty busy so I would recommend a reservation on the weekend especially during prime evening hours. Our server was fantastic. I wish I could remember his name. He took care of us and was quick to take our orders and bring our drinks and our food. We tried the short rib, egg rolls, apple salad, and shrimp fried pizza. We also both got a mock tail drink, which was really lovely. The salad and the pizza were amazing. The shrimp eggrolls were so so I probably would not get them again. I loved the ambience of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend coming to serve for a nice chill evening out. read more

When you have a big family, you can NEVER find a spot that they are ALL happy with. This spot hit the mark. Love the decor, ambiance, seating booths. Now lets get to the food- Fry trio was amazing, not a fan of dipping sauces but this hit the spot. Burger was amazing, pizza was great and my kids tore up the chicken and fries. They have home made ice creme- Hot cocoa was the bomb!! Our server was great, the staff was kind and courteous. I love that the manager walked up to the tables to see how all was going. INTERESTING, that I complained about part of the meal to the "server" and nothing happened?? Another employee that really did NOT seem to want to be working. SURV Restaurant Group Dinner Experience Background Our Over-55 Community organizes monthly dinners as a way to bring residents together and foster a sense of camaraderie. For this month's gathering, we selected SURV restaurant as our venue, and arrangements for the group dinner were made more than two months in advance. The planning process included coordination with Janet, SURV's Event Coordinator, and our latest communication with her took place just two days prior to the scheduled event. Arrival and Reservation Issues Upon arrival at SURV for our group dinner, we were unexpectedly informed by the restaurant staff that there was no reservation under our name and that they had no record of any group booking. Despite presenting evidence of our communications--including emails and text messages the staff maintained that our reservation did not exist. Interaction with Management During this confusion, a woman named Carol, who identified herself as the owner, intervened. Carol reiterated that there was no reservation for our group and stated that the restaurant could not and would not serve us. When confronted with our documentation, she insisted that it was not the restaurant's responsibility and declined to accommodate our party, even though the restaurant was empty at the time. Her attitude was described as abusive and condescending, and she subsequently left the scene by retreating to a back room. Reflection on the Experience While it is understandable that communication errors can occur, we expected a reputable establishment to acknowledge the issue and make an effort to resolve it. Instead, the management's response was marked by arrogance and condescension, which was disappointing and unacceptable. Furthermore, we have since heard similar stories from others regarding the management at SURV, which lends credibility to rumors of financial instability within the restaurant. Community Response As a result of this experience, our community--which consists of approximately 450 homes located within three miles of the restaurant--will no longer consider SURV for future events nor will we grace the establishment. read more

My husband and I went to Surv for the first time last weekend and we loved it and can't wait to go back! The ambiance is very nice-I kept saying I felt like we were inside of a fancy hotel in the city. Drinks were great-he got an old fashioned and I got a tequila cocktail. I'm Still dreaming of our appetizer-braised short rib egg roll-fabulous!!! My husband got a salmon entree, I got a salad with shrimp, and we split fried Brussels sprouts as a side. Everything was cooked perfectly, had great flavor and was well proportioned. We got the chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert to go and it was also fab!! This place is def a hidden gem! read more

The service was extremly slow (over an hr to get an entre) for not being very busy. We had to wait a long time just to get bread, which was cold. The food was mediocre for the price. One of our meals was not to our liking and was sent back. The manager never came to our table and left the server to apologize. While parts of the restaurant have a trendy warmth, other tables feel more like a cafateria. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

My husband and I met up with my college roommates for a reunion dinner at this restaurant. At first glance of the menu, my husband and I were not "wow-ed "by the choices. We ended up trying the Boursin and mushroom eggrolls as an appetizer. They were delicious! Even my mushroom-hating husband ate one! For dinner he opted for the pork chop and I ordered the short ribs. When I tell you we were blown away--understatement! My short ribs were perfect! And my husbands pork chop was THE BEST pork chop I've ever had in my life! After dinner, we were greeted by the entertainment for the evening, which was a mentalist. This was an amazing experience as well! For dessert the espresso martini was the perfect ending to a great dinner. If we're ever in Easton again - we will be returning to SURV! read more

I was prepared to dislike this place given the name. I've finally had enough of the unprofessionalism and poor service. Food is usually pretty good, but it's what happens between ordering and receipt of meal that matters. Not too long ago one of our meals was forgotten about by our waiter who chose to not write our orders down and instead commit to memory. That didn't work out well. We waited for another :30 for the burger to arrive. What did the restaurant do to make up for our lousy experience? Nothing. A chat with the manager was pointless. All they said was sorry. Should have comped the burger. Fast forward to today. A deal on the website says 3 pizzas for $28, so I placed an order. Not less than 3 min later, I get a call from the hostess saying that the pizza deal had changed to buy one, get one. Still on the website as 3 for $28. They should have honored my deal and not forced me into the BOGO. Shame on you. Bait and switch. read more

It was girls night out, and we decided to finally try this new local place. The decor is simple and modern, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. My community dining out had made arrangements for 45 people to eat at the restaurant. Plans were made with the restaurant manager and a menu was planned. Everyone who signed up paid $50 and there were to be 5 choices which they would order when everyone was seated. The night of the reservation, the organizers of the event came early to make sure everything was set up, but were told by the manager they didn't have any reservations from our group and we would have to leave! Needless to say everyone was quite upset. About 30 of us went to another area restaurant, LoRusso's in Palmer Township and they graciously agreed to take care of us. This is not the first time I had a terrible experience with this restaurant. The first was a birthday party for a 90 year old I won't go into that disaster. I signed up along with 44 other residents to dine at Surv. The event was scheduled many weeks ahead of time. When the women who made the contact and had proof of the reservations went a bit early to be sure everything was in place she was told there was no reservation and to leave. She had been in contact with the event coordinator four days before the event and was told everything was in order. Needless to say I will never go back to this dive and have relayed this experience to many friends. read more

I came in a couple years ago with some friends and we still talk about our time here. The service was fast and great. The food and drinks were great as well. The rating I want to give is a 3.5 but I'm rounding up. To start I followed Google maps to the location and parked right in front of the restaurant sign. It was a closed deli/bagel place. Luckily we were meeting friends who told us to walk around the mall to the back and we found the restaurant. We ordered family style so we got to try a lot of different dishes. The server was excellent. The drinks were a average and the dry martini came out dirty and had to go back. The mushroom risotto was tasty but super salty. The baked brie was nice and runny but so sweet it was almost a dessert. The caprese salad was good. The meat lovers pizza was very good as was the everything crusted salmon. The Caesar salad with fresh anchovies was very good and to wrap up the peanut butter and chocolate desserts were also very good. read more

Very disappointing experience trying Surv with friends, especially given that it's owned by the same people that own Edge in Bethlehem which we frequent often. Primary reason for the three stars was service. Server took our drink order, delivered three cocktails but never brought the fourth. Had to track her down and was told club soda was from a different place. Huh? Felt rushed then to place our order and then she disappeared never checking and tracked her down twice to get drink refills and water. Food came, second round came...no club soda again and no water. Flagged down manager, expressed our service concerns and she brought us water and the club soda. The food was slightly better than the service. Rice bowls were dry and chicken overcooked and chewy. Crusted salmon also overcooked and it was just okay. We skipped dessert and manager stopped by, apologized for the problems, blaming it on a temporary power failure (which lasted about a minute and our issues were BEFORE that happened) and did make an adjustment on the bill for which we thanked him. Located in a weird spot in the back of a strip mall and ambiance does not exude any warmth. I would call it chaotic and sterile. I don't think we were the only table with service issues as we observed a lot of harried behavior by the staff. Speaking of cold, it was a cold night and since the restaurant does not have an enclosed foyer, everytime someone came in or left, there was a burst of cold air that came into the dining room. Fortunately, we weren't as close as others, but really poor design. read more

I'd follow the team from Edge anywhere and this solidifies it. Tucked away on College Hill you have to drive around the back of the center that Bounce U used to be at. Worth the little hunt. Honestly, not great. I had been wanting to come here for some time and friends invited us so we finally went. We ordered a lemonade for our toddler and it tasted like water with lemon in it -- we told the waiter that's a hard sell for a toddler and he said they'd remake it sweeter. We waited and later had to remind him we needed a replacement. He then said he needed the glass back to get a new one made (weird) and then the manager came out with a sweeter version (why was this a big deal??!) We decided to order some pizzas and medium plates along with a pasta kids meal. Some time later the kids pasta was served (finally) and it turns out they put it down at the wrong table. Then our medium plates were served and a bit later the pizzas came out. We asked for Parmesan cheese and it came out by the time there were two slices left. Maybe it was an off night, but I don't plan to return here anytime soon. read more

First timers tonight for dinner. A few small bumps but overall was pretty good. We enjoyed the decor and the seats were comfortable. Filet was cooked spot on medium rare. Beet & burrata salad was delicious. The pizza was just ok, the sauce was bland. Needs garlic, maybe some salt. We never got bread for our table. Don't bother. I called to make a reservation and I get they were busy but they were so rude. I was nicely asking to make reservations and didn't hear he said 'please hold' because the background was LOUD. He proceeded to say "Please hold" 6 times in a real rude, loud and obnoxious way as I was trying to say sorry. I got a girl next and told her that the guy that answered was rude because I hadn't heard him and she hung up on me. I can only imagine what their service is like. HARD Pass. Management needs to retrain the people answering the phones. We are new to the area in a new housing complex with over a 100 homes and we have a community board for where we share eating experiences since 90% of us are new to the area, and I'll be making sure to post to avoid this place at all cost because of their weirdly rude staff. Been making phone reservations my whole life and never was treated that way. No wonder they barely get over 3 stars...I get it now. read more

My adventure that brought me to dining at Surv started a few weeks ago, I have been trying to support local places via take out and I came across Surv. After looking at the menu I decided that this place was too nice to get take out so we decided to dine in the first chance we got. We were not disappointed with our decision. You know its a good restaurant when the only bad thing you can say about the place is the location makes it hard to find, it is located on the back side of the shopping plaza, till I came here I did not know that the plaza had a back side. We started off with a few drinks and the Fryz Trio, the Curry Ketchup was out of this world. My fiancé said the Strawberry Shortcake Martini was great, I got the Vaccinator, not my favorite drink but that's my own fault for getting a drink with turmeric in it, and to be honest I only got it because of the name. For out main courses we could not decide on the Chicken and Waffles or The Burger so we got both. Both were excellent, the mac and cheese waffle was great and a great way to get the mac and chesses crispy on top. The burger was juicy and flavorful and so large that I had trouble finishing it. The service was great, we were checked on numerous times by everyone. Everyone was also nice and friendly. Everything was clean and you could tell that they take pride in this restaurant. The only tip I can give people is if you want a booth, make a reservation, they only have a limited number, and they fill up fast. Overall a great experience with great food, definitely worth the trip up to Forks Township, we will be back again. read more
