Highly recommended! The food is delicious, with a Latin touch; the bartender was very nice she makes very good margaritas., and the atmosphere was excellent! We will definitely be back. read more

Have stopped by 2 times and have the same experience both times. Their soup is excellent and we had a sandwich special both times and left full and happy. Service was great, all the ladies are fantastic! Definitely a spot to check out. read more

We decided to have a get-together at this restaurant as this is located in my hometown. A group of about fifteen of us got together and had an awesome time. The service was great and the food was great too. About eight o'clock, the band started playing, and we rolled enjoyed that as well. A huge shout out goes to the staff for putting up with us and hosting our little get-together.. Lopat cladding of 1980. read more

Passed this place many times and first time to this restaurant. Promptly seated (restaurant was empty - Sunday 5pm). We ordered from their special Octoberfest menu. I had the jaeger schnitzel and my wife the chicken schnitzel. Each entree came with red cabbage and egg noodles. I think you had some options but that is what we chose. The schnitzels were great and fried. They were well prepared (thin and moist). Red cabbage was from a glass jar but decent. Egg noodles okay but could have used more gravy. Great selection of beer. I had an Octoberfest from Germany. Prices very reasonable! We will be back!! read more

I ordered the three pork soft shell tacos for pickup. The pork was tender, the ingredients were very fresh and it tasted amazing. The service was quick I was able to pick up my food in 15 minutes and as far as the ambiance the place was hopping. There's never a bad thing that I get when I pick up food from this place read more

I haven't been here in years! What a Great spot for an App and a cold beer. We shared the stuffed mushrooms and sampler(southwest rolls, skins, crab dip was substituted since they were out of spinach and artichoke dip). It was all fantastic! The crab dip was phenomenal. The service was great as well. read more

Service was good, quick and attentive but the food- I don't know what happened? The steak wasn't seasoned and there was zero crust, almost a boiled steak. Clean restaurant and busy bar. read more

I really like the Brass Rail! Super friendly staff, interesting and varied menu, far beyond pub grub and well prepared fare. What else does one need when looking for a casual and comfortable restaurant? Go here. read more

Great experience. The staff was excellent. The wings were good, sauced well. They met my request for hot & garlic Parm mixed. I should have asked for extra crisp, that's my mistake. I also forgot to request Bleu cheese, assuming it came with it. I simply asked my excellent server and she took care of it. The bar pie was good, not over the top. It was cooked well and I have no complaints. I would have liked to have crushed red pepper, Parm cheese, garlic, etc. Most places deliver the pizza caddy to the table. I get that may not be the case anymore with COVID. My wife had a chicken Cesar wrap which she said was very good. The fresh cut fries were good, but could have been seasoned more. Overall a well above average experience. The staff was awesome. I would certainly eat here again. read more

Everything was good except the food. Service good--beer nice and cold. Fish tacos and bacon cheeseburger not so much. Not crowded on a Sunday afternoon so no reason for such poor quality. Don't think we'll be going back. read more

A staple in the area - love coming here because of the tradition, but the prices are significantly higher and I've noticed that the cheesesteaks are getting smaller. Still love seeing a local business flourish! read more

Yummy The menu is exciting and never disappoints. Can't wait until they have stuffed peppers again.

Typical bar food with a few dishes that stand out. My family have visited this location twice. Both times we had a young gentleman serve us. He was polite but refuse to write anything down. He returned numerous times to confirm what was ordered and what he forgot. He also was slower then slow. The women serve were running circles around him. This was not just noticed with our table but also other tables he was serving... Good luck if you have him as a server. We will return. read more

First time going. Food was pretty good with decent prices. Service was ok to. Table & chairs not real comfy though.

Long and short of it: Its a bar and grill and a local adult hang out spot. It has sufficient on site parking. Because it's a hangout spot it's always loud in the evening. The wait staff is very polite but also very busy on crowded nights, and many nights are, at least at the bar. The menu choices are interesting and varied enough. The food is a bit on the heavy side but tasty. The prices are reasonable. Good burgers. Its decidedly a neighborhood feel. That's not a bad thing. I don't know as I'd drive a long way round to go here but I'd be glad of its presence in the neighborhood for a chow down, and if I was hungry and passing through I'd certainly consider it. You might too. read more

Just left this establishment. Everything was pretty terrible. All the vegetables were definitely frozen and flavorless. The guacamole had way too much lime in it. The waitress/hostess was on her cell phone from the time we got there until we left. The atmosphere was the best part, with the fireplace. Has potential. Just needs better staff and food. read more

This place is alright. It is always so loud when I am in here. Can barely hear myself. Food is alright. It's not the best but it is okay for a decent meal. read more

Solo dining at the bar. Waited 4 minutes to be acknowledged. I do not drink alcohol therefore ordered a ice water. Got the eye roll from bartender. Had to ask for a menu and after she played around with her regulars came to take my order. Asked simple questions about salad dressings and dinner sides. She had no clue had to go to the kitchen to get my answers. I ordered prime rib special. Came out ok. However her regulars who ordered same entree were offered salt pepper horseradish and au jus. I was offered nothing. Felt offended and ignored. The regulars will always be there it's the newbies you want to attract. Bartending/services 101 read more

Delicious food and hard working staff help us see why Brass Rail is a popular place to eat!

The food here was kinda lousy..I got a salad, no onions, no tomatoes, no cucumber..lettuce and carrots thats it. The burger was not so good, the bacon was chewy and raw..I wouldn't go back here. Sorry guys you need to step it up.. read more

The food each time has been perfect-- but sad to say the service tonight was abysmal. Seated at a table for 3,the waitress Claire, spent deal of effort in pointedly ignoring us, then making a point of slamming our drinks down on the table. Spoke to the manager, but situation did not improve. This waitress needs to be in a career better suited to her sour disposition-- like the DMV perhaps. Lesson learned-- don't come here on a Saturday evening-- but again, the kitchen put out great quality meals-- just the service made it a throughly unhappy evening-- I'm normally a guy who massively overtips-- tried talking to her before cashing out-- she was defensive and combative so she only got 10%. Management needs to hear that they have a viper in their midst who seems to be hell bent on destroying the customer experience. read more

Never in my life was I treated like the frozen cattle my grandmother was fed than at this establishment from the waitress. Not to mention the hairs we got in our food, two of the three I found in my starter and entree respectively. The food was surprisingly great but the hair kinda ruined it and the place was nice and cozy witch sucks that I had such a horrible time there instead of enjoying myself. My entree was comped and the waitress gave me an employee discount (I'm not an employee) on my crab cakes because that dish hadn't had the hair directly in my food and I let that one slide and didn't say anything. So I will give them credit where credit is due. Not to mention the manager was very nice and offered me some pass to entice me to come back witch I'll admit I rudely refused. But the young lady that waited us, I've never seen a worst waitress in my life. She never greeted us, I'm convinced she forgot to take our order, stood up on a table behind a half wall next to us to take a picture for a group, never asked if we wanted a refill on drinks; my mother had to call her to get more coffee, I had to call someone to get us silverware and napkins because there was none, she placed my fathers spoon on the bare table, never apologized for the hairs in our food, never asked to see the hairs, always reached over my shoulder to get my dishes; never asked if I was finished with my plate and never asked or let me know when she was reaching over me, got the wrong bill for us and was screaming at the top of her lungs for her mother half our stay. And I keep calling her our waitress because she never even gave us a name. The waiting staff was seriously unprofessional in my opinion. Just wow! You couldn't pay me to go back there and be served by that woman again. I'm sorry, but maybe the food industry isn't for that waitress. read more

Beer and live music are great. Food and kitchen always disappoints. Slow delivery in an empty restaurant. Completely wrong take out. Ice cold wings. Terrible all around. And this has been across multiple visits over the past 2 years. Always try to give the benefit of the doubt to a local place, but it fails each time. read more

Went here on New Years Eve with a few friends. Place was ultra quiet (kind of surprising for a bar on New Years Eve) but the staff was very friendly. Ordering was a tad of an adventure as they were missing some menu items but the food we did get was good and prompt. Food was basic fare (Turkey Club, burgers, etc ...) and while the menu is fairly large, there's nothing you haven't seen at a bunch of other places. The dining area is separated by the bar (good) and is fairly easy on the eyes in a road house style theme. Pricing is on par for the area. All in all it was a pleasant place but the kind of place I would forget minutes after leaving. My friends rave about the regular nights there however. read more

Just moved here a couple of months ago and after the very first visit - It become by "go-to" place for just about everything. The entrees are phenomenal - haven't had a single item I didn't absolutely love. And you can't beat the lunch special - 40% off right off the total check! (Note just remember folks - the special is from 2:30 -4 :30. If u order 2 min early - you'll pay full price; if you order 2 late - pay 4:30 - u pay full price). Just a little neighborly advice it that's why you're choosing to fo that time of day. But with that being said... EVEN AT THE REGULAR PRICES - you can't beat the food ! read more

This place is excellent if you're looking for extremely slow service (50 minutes for an order of appetizers), an absent waitress that doesn't come but once to give you your first waters, an extremely rude manager/owner that berates his customers by telling them that "this is not a fast food restaurant" after inquiring about the excessive wait, topped with a sense of feeling like an outsider just for sitting down in this establishment - all the while watching customers come in 10-15 minutes after you be, sat/order apps/dinner/desserts/pay/leave all before your order of appetizers even come out. If that sounds like an excellent outing then come on down to the Brass Rail! read more

Had been there a few time before and was good. Last Friday nite 8 of us went for dinner, my friend orders a corona and he gets a can of corona with a piece of lime on top, the fish and chips tasted like cardboard and the chips were soggy and burnt. We waited so long for our dinner that the waitress said she would take off 25%. She never took off the 25%. Won't be going back there for a long time! read more

Came in for the Monday special of wings. We ordered the baked clams as an appetizer. The clams were luke warm at best. They were undercooked and the clams were still raw under the breading. We ate the topping off if clams and left the undercooked clams on plate. I informed our waitress. She said she was "discounting clams" wasn't asking for anything but wanted them to know since this was our second bad experience with their baked clams. Got our bill. Waitress took off ..$.80 off for the clams...yep,that's right eighty cents...what a joke. I'll never go back again!!! read more

Best Karaoke bar in the area, starts atb 8pm every Sunday Night, excellent staff, great food, appreciative audience, always a fubn time!

Great place to go hang, eat, drink and run into friends. They have bands a lot of the time and some good crowds. Reasonable prices as well.

I feel like if you are a local coming into this location you are on an episode of Cheers where "everybody knows your name." I've never come to the Brass Rail for a sit down dinner but I have been plenty of times for appetizers and drinks. The bar tending staff is friendly and quick to assist when needing refills. Sometimes there is a decent wait but depending on the night and what local band is playing the place gets PACKED so that's understandable. Food is decent, nothing to brag about but when you are drinking and want something to munch on it does the job. The parking can be a nightmare when they have a packed house. Most of the time I skip looking for a spot in the lot or side street and park in the medical building parking lot (after hours of course.) I'd recommend Brass Rail to new residents and locals! read more

Love my steamed clams which are a special on Wednesday's. I was served a bowl of steamed clams with water filled to the top of the bowl. A bowl of clams and water represented the special which was disappointing. The Ahi Tuna salad is actually pretty good though but the rest of the menu was lacking. Hit or miss on a good day.
