Wow! I had been seeing notes about this place in several places. In the reviews and pictures on here, especially the Brussel Sprouts. The menu is extensive and the Specials on 3-21-26 were amazing. I started with a Tropical Bunny martini that was one of the best drinks I've ever had. My husband had a beer (boring!!!) My husband had the 12.oz lobster (warm water) that was cooked absolutely perfect, served with butter kept warm with candle () and a double side of the Brussel Sprouts with bacon which were perfect and delicious and just cut in half, not pulverized like so many chefs are doing now. The other side for him was a very fresh salad and he liked the amount of dressing. I had the Chicken & Crab Frances over linguini which was excellent. I had the Cream of Cauliflower soup to start and it was excellent. The waitress (who was totally awesome) said it took first place at Steel Stacks and I can believe it. I got a Turkey diner to go and I've sneaked a taste and I'm going to love that tomorrow. In addition to our server, the chef's mother came to check on us which was very sweet and it was easy to tell why the place has been in business so long with her support. A lot of pride in the food from her son and the business itself as it is very very clean. We are coming back for sure as this is a true GEM in Easton. Reservations were suggested, which is good and the prices are very reasonable. My family and I came here on a Saturday night for a table of 8. We made a reservation by calling. Upon arriving we were promptly seated. The ambiance was very nice and casual and cozy. It was decorated so nicely throughout. Our server came right over, was friendly and made sure we got drinks very quickly. Throughout our service other servers jumped in when they noticed we needed refills and new drinks, I loved seeing them work as a team and take good care of us. Soups and salads were delicious. I ordered the special Chicken croquettes. They were fantastic! The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food and most importantly everything was brought to us so nice and hot, which is super appreciated. Excellent experience and can't wait to come back again soon. After almost 17 years away, we decided to return to dine on their great seafood. Awesome to see some familial faces and new ones. The staff work well together to serve the food and make patrons feel welcome. It was after 4 pm, the lunch plus the dinner menu was presented and so, we ordered 2 lunch items as appetizers and two seafood combinations for dinner entrees. The smash burger with pierogies along with the cod and mashed potato fritters plus all the seafood and sides were good. The paprika dusting all over my fish was a bit much and I'll know what to expect next time and order the fish with lemon and butter. The baked potato was fresh and hot, thats a plus! The side of pepper pot soup was prepared different than other places, not a fan. Bread basket was added bonus. The side salad lettuce was a tad wilted although it contained lots of different veggies which was a plus. Dressing was really good. That fish medley of 3 shrimp, 3 scallops, substantial crab cake and grouper filet was exceptional and delicious. The caramel pumpkin cheesecake satisfied my sweet craving. Great family restaurant owned and operated by the same owner for many years. I eat at Lutzi's weekly with the same group of friend year in and out and am always satisfied. The food is excellent and the waitresses,many have worked here for years, are always friendly and greet me like family. Great family specials with something for every price range. Stopped in for a late lunch .. small dining area.. waitress had no personality.. started with mushrooms with crab meat which wasn't bad but wondered why such a strong fishy smell.. husband had roast beef sandwich lunch special which looked good, he said he liked it .. This was our first time at Lutzi's. It was highly recommended by my sister's coworker. Our servers name was Cassidy she was great! We went on Saturday at 5. We did make a reservation. My sister had a cranberry margarita it was very good. We started with mozzarella sticks. My husband and sister had the crab bisque and I had the potato soup of the day. All of them were very good. The menu is huge. It was so hard to make a decision. I will have to go back soon :). I ended up getting the fish and chips. My husband got the seafood risotto on special. My sister had chicken piccata. All the food was great and tasty. Huge portions! Everything seemed fresh. The dessert menu looked good I wish we would of took something home. Always a treat. This time I had the mussels fra Diablo (not sure that's what it's called) but it was delicious. Good sizes mussels, with a wider noodle in a light and somewhat spicy tomato sauce. Included a house salad, cold and fresh, with a tasty dill dressing. Dessert was the lemon meringue pie. Very adequate size but when I tasted it, it went from shareable to an individual serving. We met a group of people here on Friday night - friends of my parents. It is a convenient place to go - centralized for everyone. The food is mainly Italian and the menu is enormous. I hate to say it, but my stomach was a little upset before we arrived so rather than be adventuresome (the scallops sounded wonderful), I had a simple hamburger and fries. To start with the fries, they were perfectly made - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They also seasoned them very well. The burger was okay - nothing really special. It came with lettuce, tomato and onion. The tomato seemed fresh but had a funny taste to it. The lettuce too. In fairness to Lutzi's, I'm sure people don't go there for hamburgers. The others around the table all raved about the food. As I looked around, the pastas, seafood and meat dishes looked very good. And, I always really gauge a restaurant on service - our server was outstanding. She was very pleasant and attentive. Excellent service - she checked in with us several times during the dinner and always made sure our drinks were fresh. So, by my reckoning through observation, this is a good restaurant. Don't forgo this because I didn't think the hamburger was great. Based on service alone, this should get several stars. Based on the comments of those with me, the food was really good. read more

A recent find for us and we've been pleasantly surprised. Much better than the trendy restaurants downtown but tourist probably don't know about these " hidden gems". Good fresh seafood, complete meals with 2 sides and soup or salad, good portions. Crab soup, good, but too thick, and needs a little more crab, and the Clam Chowder needs more clams, however Stuffed Flounder, loaded with crabmeat is delicious! The chops are wonderful and the Grouper very good, great crab cakes and great shrimp. Good rolls before your meal, Cole slaw and sides are all good too. We have been pleasantly surprised and will continue to patronized even with closures. We' ll do take out. Wait staff , not bad but could be a bit more polished. read more

Husband and I stopped here for dinner with another couple who have been here before. This food is the best we've had in a long while! You can really tell that the people in the kitchen are very skilled and love what they do..it so shows in the food they turn out. Think "diner" and you won't be disappointed although they claim to be and charge a bit more than that. We had surf and turf. Guest had stuffed peppers. All large quantities but quality was so so. My husband and I are regulars at Lutzi's - as are many others who frequent this neighborhood family restaurant. We go there 1-2 times a month. We keep coming back because the food is consistently good, the majority of the food is home-made and the portions are generous and reasonably priced and the service is great. The soups are all home-made and are almost always on our order - especially the Italian Wedding Soup. This is a family owned restaurant where everyone is friendly - especially Gloria who serves as hostess and is one of the nicest people you will meet. Gloria also does some of the dessert making and her cakes are out of this world - especially anything with her cream cheese icing and her Lemon Lush. On a quiet evening (Wed.) service was very slow. I ordered the chicken saltimbocca, and two side dishes. The chicken came out swimming in a broth, not a sauce. No mushrooms, just a marsala flavored broth. The chicken breasts were thick and cooked, there should have been medallions, the mozzarella was not fresh. $18 for sub par food and the girl could have cared less that anyone was there. I've been there once before going to a show at the State Theater. They do need more parking, but it's a slightly more upscale family restaurant. My husband had the shrimp scampi over pasta and liked it. I had a sandwich that wasn't too bad. Service was good; it seems like they get a lot of regulars.
