    Pepper pot soup

After almost 17 years away, we decided to return to dine on their great seafood. Awesome to see some familial faces and new ones. The staff work well together to serve the food and make patrons feel welcome. It was after 4 pm, the lunch plus the dinner menu was presented and so, we ordered 2 lunch items as appetizers and two seafood combinations for dinner entrees. The smash burger with pierogies along with the cod and mashed potato fritters plus all the seafood and sides were good. The paprika dusting all over my fish was a bit much and I'll know what to expect next time and order the fish with lemon and butter. The baked potato was fresh and hot, thats a plus! The side of pepper pot soup was prepared different than other places, not a fan. Bread basket was added bonus. The side salad lettuce was a tad wilted although it contained lots of different veggies which was a plus. Dressing was really good. That fish medley of 3 shrimp, 3 scallops, substantial crab cake and grouper filet was exceptional and delicious. The caramel pumpkin cheesecake satisfied my sweet craving. Shout out to kitchen for preparing and presenting all the food.

Finally made it to this gem. Homemade food , very clean and the waitress was very knowledgeable.

Lutzi's is a nice restaurant for casual dining. Enjoyed meeting Gloria. Cabbage stuffed with seasoned ground beef and rice, covered in tomato sauce and served with charred broccolini over mashed potatoes was very good. Took a bite of pistachio cake and packed the rest to go. Was nice to sit on deck for lunch.

We met a group of people here on Friday night - friends of my parents. It is a convenient place to go - centralized for everyone. The food is mainly Italian and the menu is enormous. I hate to say it, but my stomach was a little upset before we arrived so rather than be adventuresome (the scallops sounded wonderful), I had a simple hamburger and fries. To start with the fries, they were perfectly made - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They also seasoned them very well. The burger was okay - nothing really special. It came with lettuce, tomato and onion. The tomato seemed fresh but had a funny taste to it. The lettuce too. In fairness to Lutzi's, I'm sure people don't go there for hamburgers. The others around the table all raved about the food. As I looked around, the pastas, seafood and meat dishes looked very good. And, I always really gauge a restaurant on service - our server was outstanding. She was very pleasant and attentive. Excellent service - she checked in with us several times during the dinner and always made sure our drinks were fresh. So, by my reckoning through observation, this is a good restaurant. Don't forgo this because I didn't think the hamburger was great. Based on service alone, this should get several stars. Based on the comments of those with me, the food was really good.

Our newly renovated atmosphere is casual from the bar area to the dining room. The menu has something to tempt every palate and every size appetite. Appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, steaks, and Italian favorites.

The bread basket they start you off with..woah!

We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic. What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible. Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar. I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more. She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day. I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house. We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

Thank goodness we planned some flexibility after the meal before our show started. But the real downer of the meal was Alison. Our server had such an attitude... while the food was pretty good, she was not. The place was also too loud and had no vibe. The bar crowd spilled into the seat area and looked messy. Wouldn't go back.
