I have had More Than Q at a catered event before and it was excellent. So I was excited to order when I saw them at the Easton Public Market. The first red flag was how long it took just to order. I ignored it, ordered, and then waited. And waited. The food finally came and it was meh. I was super disappointed. While I was waiting for my food, and then eating. I saw the line only get worse and people waited so long to order. I don't understand what is happening here but it is really inefficient. Walked over here to get lunch from the Crayola factory. We had trouble finding it at first but it is located in the Easton Public Market. They have all the typical BBQ offerings. I had the fried chicken sandwich and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. My son and daughter split the kids chicken fingers. My fried chicken sandwich was very good and my husband liked his pulled pork sandwich too. The kids chicken fingers looked good and was a good sized portion considering the two of them still didn't finish it. Overall, I would defintley come here again. For our sides We ordered the collard greens and the five cheese Mac'n'cheese. Along with that, we ordered the half rack of ribs (that isn't included in the meat options for the platter). Overall, I didn't think the bbq was outstanding or too flavorful. I felt that I had to keep pouring the bbq sauces on to the meat to add more flavor. The ribs were softish and did fall off the bone but there were also dry bits at the edges. The brisket was decently tender and there were some fatty bits, but i prefer more fatty brisket. The pulled pork wasn't too dry. The collard greens were vinegary and is a good side to cut the greasiness/meatiness of the bbq. The Mac 'n'cheese was creamy but I don't think it tasted as cheesy as the name suggested. The slaws were crunchy and tart. I did enjoy the bbq sauces they had but I forgot which was which. Came here after going to the crayola experience. Last time I tried the burger spot and it was great so I figured this bbq place had to be good. Wow was it not good, just plain bad. My daughter got the popcorn chicken which was good but burned. I opted for the two meat platter and got brisket and spare ribs and burnt ends baked beans. I am a weekend smoker and an amateur in every sense of the word but wow this was the safest brisket I have ever seen and tasted. The ribs were fine, definitely steamed with an overpowering cumin taste. For 35 you're better off throwing your money away or getting the fried hot dog around the corner. Let me start off by saying this is a meal for one, not two. For almost $45.00, I couldn't believe how small the portions were. That was some good brisket. We went to Georgia last fall and we went to one of the award winning BBQ place, I cannot remember exactly what it tasted like except it was good and I must say this is up there with the other place. The fatty part melt in your mouth perfect. The non fatty part is good though obviously not as tender. All the ingredients work really well together. The bread is excellent, my 4 year old loved it so much. Service was great and the public market (where it is located inside) is a nice place to eat. Will definitely come back next time we go to Crayola. read more

Ordered my favorite items - brisket sandwich - the roll was not fresh, the meat was barely warm and lacked flavor. I'm used to the brisket melting in my mouth, it was chewy. The service matched my sandwich as I had to remind the worker, who was busy on their phone, that I placed an order and was waiting 10 minutes. (and the place was empty) It's a shame as we frequent the Easton public market. I'll have to find a new bbq spot. read more

Really good. We visited after our trip to the crayola factory. It'a a stall located inside a cute little market with other eatery stalls, drinks, local fruit and vegetables and other things. I was pleasantly surprised by a bbq place inside of a market. They even have the smoker inside if their stall. My family of four had the wings, a platter with brisket and pulled pork. The platter came with 2 types of coleslaw (vinegar based and mayo based), pickled red onion, pickles, and fresh pickled jalapeños. The platter came with a side and we got extra ones. We got collards, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Everything was good! I also enjoyed the bbq sauce. If we return to the area, we'll def be back. read more

How can a place that is below average have over a 4 star rating? I realized it's because most of the reviews for this place are years old. Here is my review from today's meal. First the good, the service was relatively fast and their sauces were pretty good. Now the blah, fatty poor quality meats. Ribs were lousy. If I poured the sauce all over them I might be able to disguise the junk rib. If I wasn't starving, I would have tossed them in the trash. Collard greens were tasteless and would have made a good companion to the ribs in the trash. I eat a little too much BBQ, but this won't be a place I would go back to. read more

This place earns a 2 for service and 4 for taste, so I give the average of 3 The man serving and preparing the food wore one black glove for 6 trays, dipping the same hand into the sides and cutting and arranging the meat. The ungloved hand manipulated the unimpressive roll and wiped the itch he had. The glove was just gross. Gloves aside, he and the woman who took the order were surly and rolled their eyes and snickered at our questions about the different sides and cuts of meat. The brisket was 2/3 meat, with a strip of fat running through the cut, yet that said, the flavor was mild and smokey, and thin bbq sauce well seasoned. A nice tasting, albeit quite salty, meal, enhanced by refreshing sides of vinegar slaw and pickles. I will give 4 stars I have been here numerous tones and the bbq is usually really good. I have had the sides, bbq pork sandwich with the homemade creamy coleslaw and the meat for two plate with a sampling of meat two times before. The second time I had this platter, for $29, it was super dipper salty and everything was lukewarm at best. The first time I had it, it was absolutely delicious but since it is pretty expensive I prob would never order it again based on the outcome of the second time I had it. Stuff everyone wants to know right off the bat. 1. It's Really good BBQ. 2. This Easton PA location is inside a marketplace food vendor type place, so don't look for it on the street. There is a bit of meter parking behind the building on Church St if the road side options aren't available or you don't want to park on the street. It's A la carte, no combos except for a big family meat thing, I forget what it had but it was much more than any combo lover would want. 4. I love my dry rub meats but if you don't try their BBQ Sauce you are missing out big time! alright lets get into it. 5. Is it worth 5 stars? Everyone is so subjective when it comes to many things, BBQ included, Everything can always be a "little better" or "needs work" but only to YOUR pallet. The amount of work and the authenticity they put into everything I saw is what gives them a 5 star. If you don't think they deserve at least 4 stars then you shouldn't be judging BBQ. And I had no problem at all with customer service issues. Ribs! Can't get less than a half rack. I asked about it and they said no, however they did give me 3 of the smaller end ribs on top of 3 of the bigger meatier ribs and I don't know if the was intentional or not. BUT! The big meaty ribs are HUGE! For Pork Ribs anyway. If I didn't know any better I would have said these are Beef Ribs. These bigger ribs looked very different than the 3 little ones they put on top so I don't really know which one to judge. Well the big ones did have a rub on them and it was pretty good, not as flavorful as I would hope. Small ones had more of the rub but they were charred pretty good so I don't know if I was tasting more of the char or the spices that are mostly smokey flavored. Meat was PERFECT texture, I do like a nice smoke ring in the meat and didn't get as much as I wanted but the flavor of the pork was pretty good. Brisket is absolutely in my top 3 best briskets I've every had. Just the way I like it, super moist, great dark rub flavor, super tender, fat melts into the mouth like nothing and have a good smokey flavor to itself. People might get a little turned off by how oily it seems but that is the way it's supposed to be. Mac and Cheese was pretty mediocre if you ask me. Especially when they call it "5 Cheese". To me it was a super mild Kraft flavor. Pasta was fine, but the cheese sauce was just ... nah. Yet a lady and her kid were sitting at another table eating the Mac and Cheese too and they were like "OOooooo this is Good Mac and Cheese!" Soooo ... Idk. I mean look at my picture of the Mac and Cheese and tell me it has a 5 Cheese blend in there, that is all I can say. Pit Beans were Really Good! All white bean and they say some burnt ends are thrown in there. All the meat I found were little bits of jerky more like. Not bad, but I don't know. Flavor of the bean sauce was super sweet and had a very zesty zing to it. Tried a little bit of the BBQ sauce that came with the Ribs. Impressed how I could see the little tiny bits of vinegar in the sauce glistening. Proved that they knew what they were doing when it comes to sauce. This sauce is one of the best BBQ Sauces I've ever had, hands down. It's not like molasses and ketchup, it's smooth and can easily be poured out. Had to douse one of my ribs in it and it made the rib insanely good. They also have a south Carolina mustard sauce but I got them both to go. Awesome job on the sauce. I unfortunately am a true believer that excellent food unfortunately cannot overcome bad service. I had the opportunity to visit the More Than Q Easton location last week and this was my experience. The food was 5 star, however one of the workers just had a very unwelcoming attitude! I was observing him interacting with another one of the workers seemingly lecturing him about something prep related. The other worker waa visibly annoyed by this. Then I had a question for him about one of the dishes, but was left feeling like I was bothering him. So I started to place my order with him but I couldn't fathom what was the deal that had him so ornery and then in the middle he walks off and says the other young lady working can help me?? I'm standing there clueless as she's looking at me and she clearly is acknowledging his bad attitude so I just say to myself ok let's move on. She was much better in her demeanor and way more inviting. She explained the menu options and pricing in a completely friendly manner. She made a picture perfect BBQ brisket platter for me which I thoroughly enjoyed! If I just interacted with her, I would have had a much better time in my opinion with them. I've been to the Easton Public Market numerous times and this is almost ALWAYS my go-to spot for lunch. It's hard to get decent barbecue around these parts and More Than Q is always on their A game. Most recently I got an order of their ribs with a side of fried pickles and corn bread and well, they knocked it out of the park. The ribs were tender, practically falling off the bone, and very well seasoned (and not drowning in any kind of sauce which was really nice), the pickles were perfectly crunchy on the outside without being soggy (and came with some great dipping sauce) and the cornbread was really (sorry...for lack of a better word) moist. If you are in the area of the Easton Public Market, do yourself a favor and stop in and grab yourself some barbecue from this place, you won't be sorry. read more

I ordered the brisket sandwich with pickled peppers and BBQ sauce (pictured) as well as cheesy grits. The brisket was perfectly done. Smoky flavor was balanced without being overpowering and the meat just melted away in your mouth. The vinegar based BBQ sauce paired well with brisket and the pickled peppers on top. The cheesy grits were terrific as well. Grits were creamy with plenty of cheese all through them. Not gritty or gummy at all. This place is a hidden gem inside of the Easton Public Market. It's the perfect place to grab a quick and casual meal, if you're in the mood for BBQ. This is our second time here and both times left us completely satisfied. Both times, the fries were hot and fresh. I am normally not the biggest fan of this type of food, but the quality of the meat is so good that this place has won me over. The brisket is very tender and well-flavored. Last time, we got the sliders, which were impressive in size. Today, we were really hungry so we both got the sandwiches, which are probably around double the size of a slider.
