Not understanding the low ratings because this place was fantastic!!! First off, the guy who took our order just went with the flow and so accommodating. Second, the place was roomy with ample seating AND it's attached to the bar next door! And last, but certainly not least, the food was AMAZING!!! I still dream about the Crispy Brussel Sprouts I had!! Had that with a side of pulled pork over it while my friend had her favorite Nashville Hot Chicken Sando. We found this place after we picked up some items close by. They are a small spot connected right next-door to a bar. The staff was super friendly and suggestive . I have to say they have some pretty good barbecue especially the brisket and the ribs so juicy and full of flavor especially with that twangy BBQ sauce . The mac & cheese was pretty good. I wish they would give you a little bit more.. price is a reasonable and portion sizes are decent . I would definitely give this place a try if you are in the area . read more

Got take out. Nachos were great, chips home made, love the pickled onions. Brisket was fantastic. Ribs were very good. Not sure you can get better ribs in this area. Sauce came on the side. I would ask for extra sauce next time. It was very good. Cornbread was spot on as was the Mac and cheese. Cole slaw could have used a dash of vinegar. I want to say this is the best barbecue I've had north of the Mason Dixon line. Not sure that would be true but hopefully this place sticks around. Will definitely go back. read more

I can on a Saturday night. It was slow but easy to get your order in. You order at the counter and then sit down. I got the pulled pork, brisket, and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was ehh but the pulled pork and brisket was dead on. Both had good flavor before the sauce. When you add the sauce it's next level. Would easily recommend this place. read more

We had eaten there a few times before and were very happy with the food, but this time ...We ordered the brisket sandwich and brussels sprouts and were very disappointed in those. Purple cabbage Cole slaw was the choice to round out the dish. Also, the Caesar salad ($6!)was exactly the way you would want it. Slightly Wet with real Parmesan with Romaine lettuce , and a party of croutons supplying the snap. I would recommend this Que to go for both lunch and dinner. Picked up dinner on way home from work on Friday 5/10/24. The two boys working were polite and attentive. It took a while to heat up the ribs from the cooler but it was worth the wait. My family really enjoyed the ribs, mac and cheese and the baked beans! The ribs were meaty and the barbeque sauce was great. Saw the post about the new Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, and it did not disappoint!!! It was amazing, the chicken was so crispy, don't even know how they got that crisp, but it was soooo good! My children had the Mac N Cheese and they loved it! The gentleman gave me a macaroni salad on the house, since it was our first time there and pretty sure it was the beat Mac salad I have ever had! I got the sampler combo (that doesn't come with any sides) to try to get a feel for the place. The ribs were ok, a little spicy for my liking and dry. Brisket was a bit on the fatty side. Pulled pork was ok. I liked the collard greens, coleslaw was different but ok. Cornbread was over baked, dry and hard. Overall it was ok, I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. A little on the expensive side for the amount and quality of the food. You could easily get a similar or better meal in a regular sit down restaurant with table service. read more

After going, I read some of the other reviews and some people don't know what makes for good ribs. Several people were praising that the ribs "fall off the bone". Yes, they really did fall off the bone. This isn't what is supposed to happen. Good ribs don't fall off the bone. You should be able to pick up a bone with the meat still on it. The fall off the bone part should be when you bite into it, the meat easily comes off. These ribs were definitely over cooked. Don't get me wrong they were very tasty but don't want to eat the meat with your fingers.. the other issue was the baked beans. Someone wrote that they came out of a can. That definitely wasn't the case. These beans were raw to al dente. Not sure if this was a one-off or not. the rest of the food was good. We enjoyed the brisket and the other sides. read more

The service was great. It was fast and it was hot. I got the ribs, chicken, brisket and cornbread. The cornbread was good, the brisket wasn't bad but I didn't care for the chicken or the ribs. The flavor was too subtle for me, but I'm sure that suits some folks just fine. My wife liked it. I had trouble figuring out what wood it was smoked with. Again not bad, but not my type of BBQ. We did an amazing backyard product this summer, using blaze barbecue grill and griddle accessories which we bought from the barbecue boys. Around $600. 6 months into it because of delays on the project I've only used the rotisserie twice. And it froze up on me. I didn't know what to do, so I called the barbecue boys, and there was no question they sent me a new rotisserie kit at $180. They stand behind their products. I will always go to them first for any of my accessories, and will steer all my friends that way. read more

Bbq was great the closest to Texas bbq around in the area. Also the best Bbq in phillipsburg and Easton. The pulled pork and brisket had great flavor, with the classic hickory smoke taste (which we where rolled that they ship the wood from Texas )and classic pink smoke ring around the outside of the meat.
