We have stopped here a few times. It's really worth the trip! Tonight we had the vegetable soup, burger special, chicken wontons and loaded tots. Soup was very good and the rest came out pretty quick for how busy they were. Service was great, we didn't wait at all for drinks. Love that you can play the Boombah's!! Definitely a stop if you are in the area.

    Nice bar!!

Regulars started pouring in at 3pm and the bartender (Donna) knew everyone by name and what they were drinking.

We started off with so many appetizers, I missed getting photos of them all. Oysters on the half shell, fresh and delicious! Jumbo lump crab cocktail, chilled with a brown butter. Good sized chunks, and the cool crab went well with the warm butter. Jumbo shrimp cocktail served with a fresh cocktail sauce. It was ok, the shrimp were a little overdone in my opinion but not terrible. Ahi tuna tips. Sesame seed crusted and served with a creamy wasabi cucumber dip. Incredible. Then finally the seasonal roasted strawberry bruschetta. Served on a crispy piece of bread with a ricotta spread. Sweet and savory all at once. Another delicious app that I would recommend you try. The waitress brought us a big basket of complimentary rolls that were warm and tasted like they just came out of the oven. For my main I got the seasonal pecan crusted mahi mahi and topped with a dill and lemon butter. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist and flaky. The pecans were fresh and had a great crunch and the lemon dill sauce paired so well, I soaked up every drop with my fish. The meal came with mashed potatoes and green beans. They were good. Nothing fancy, they let the fish be the star of the show. This was such a good experience and I can't recommend Randall's enough!

Overall, it was a decent meal. The clean diner had menu special whiteboards, and the menu itself was your typical diner fare for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Prices were mostly in the under $15 range. I had the "homemade" French Onion Soup and felt like Gordon Ramsey asking if it really was homemade to which our waiter said it was. I also had the appetizer pierogies. I was expecting sautéed with onions and got deep fried with sour cream. They were nothing great. Soup was decent except there was no bread inside. My brother had a Mexican wrap which came with fries, and a bowl of homemade chili. Again, both were fine and mouth/tongue burning hot. The chili should have also come with some bread. He was stuffed afterwards. Me not so much. Place was rather empty in the mid-afternoon and staff was putting together utensils and talking with each other. It seems this was a family operation. They were all friendly. $33.33 not including tip for the chili, soup, pierogies, wrap, and an unsweetened tea. Pepsi products here, booo...

Asked to sit in the front part of the restaurant and was told no and seated in dining area. The air conditioning is full blast above the tables. After many years eating there, will no longer be dining with them.

On our way home after skiing, the fam decided to stop in for breakfast. Good thing we arrived a little bit before 11:00 a.m., because Within 20 minutes of us being seated, there was already a 20 min wait outside for a table! I like the Ambiance of the inside restaurant, fireplace with a cauldron right by the entrance is a nice touch. That being said, the restaurant is really toasty! I had heard about Cracker Barrel for years, and this visit did not disappoint. Two in our ordered the steak and eggs. One steak was overdone more than medium rare, but the other one was cooked perfectly medium rare. Guess due to the volume they can't manage it perfectly. My sunny side up eggs for my sandwich was a little undercooked, as the egg white was still clear and runny. Seems like things that were cooked in butter, possibly overcast iron or baked, we're cooked perfectly, as our pancakes and biscuits were both cooked perfectly. No burnt edges, but toasty and delicious. They even served real maple syrup, and offered us refills on our coffees and soft drinks without even asking. Little peg game on table is signature gimmick, which kept the kiddos busy trying to figure out the puzzle. I rather enjoyed shopping while waiting for my order to come by, as I found a number of items on super sale, ranging from 25% to 70% discounted. Joined their rewards program and already earned a reward. Overall, staff were friendly (Yani was our server). Hopefully will be back if we're in the area again!
