I work as an Events Rental Director at a local art center and we host loads of weddings. Rachael is super organized, funny, calm, creative, and a great problem solver. She can handle all the details big and small and makes you feel like someone has your back throughout the planning process. I truly feel like every bride needs an event planner in their life and Rachael is someone I confidently and highly recommend!

Our daughter wanted to have a "teen nightclub" themed dance party for her 14th birthday! At that age it's really challenging to find a venue for a great party that is safe and supervised, but also, crazy fun! Rachael helped us put together a party that was the "talk of the school" event! Everyone was buzzing about this party! Rachael, with the help of some other fantastic companies, like LEO party rentals, and BELLY caterers put together a very reasonably priced and very trendy dance party for Emma and her friends. It was so easy to plan, and even easier to sit back and enjoy the kids having a fantastic time! We couldn't have planned this terrific event without her! Rachael helped us coordinate with everyone. She sat down with me to brainstorm many times before the party, and took care of everything. The tiniest of details were covered! All of the event was kept within a very reasonable budget! We would also like to send a thank you out to the Goggleworks for their terrific, and very trendy "loft" like room, for the party location. The dj " DJ JG" John Gosselin was also a fantastic addition to the party! He knew exactly what music the kids wanted to hear. Everyone danced the entire night! Thank you Rachael for making this night so memorable for Emma, and us too! If your thinking of planning a party for your teenage daughter you should contact Rachael! She will really impress you!

REVIEW: Hire this man! Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not for the faint of heart. My wife…read moreand I are super-type A - want to be in control and enjoy the art of planning. For a while we were like nah, we don't need a planner we got this. And we did! The problem came when the execution of the wedding itself came into play. Who would cue the entrance, who would manage the vendors, who would guide the guest transitions, who would check the audio, who would make sure the cake topper made it to the cake, who would make sure our card box got back to us safe and sound? After seeing Alejandro in action it's truly terrifying to think that we were even considering not having a same day coordinator. And let me tell you ... we picked the best of the best! I mean, seriously go to this guy's reviews and IG photos. It's obvious we are not the only ones who share our love of this man and his wedding coordination/planning skills. He was organized, positive, fun (!), and very obviously knew what he was doing. Alejandro and Sparkle Events felt like a friend or a family member who cared as much as we did about having the best wedding ever. Sometimes we'd be like ... let's do this! And he'd be like, I like that but here are some things to think about based on what I've seen. (SO HELPFUL!) He'd listen to our ideas and always try to make it work. He made our day so special. We couldn't have done it without him. Five stars. A+. If you are considering another wedding planner or same day wedding coordinator your search is over. Alejandro wins everything. Hire him. You won't regret it!

Danielle is incredibly organized and professional; no element of our wedding was overlooked. In the planning process, she guided us with a detailed schedule of the tasks that we needed to complete, which was perfect to help us figure out everything that we needed to do and when. She also introduced us to a "dream team" of vendors that made our wedding unforgettable. On the day of the wedding, Danielle and her team kept everything on-time and running smoothly. Their handling of the logistics of the wedding allowed us to focus our attention on each other and our guests. Do yourself a favor and hire Danielle! She has a wealth of experience and expertise, which was evident in the seamless execution of our wedding day. And check out her awesome podcast.

We contacted Danielle by email to inquire about coordinating our wedding event. After several emails over the course of a 1 day. Danielle decided that we were not a good fit and referred us to another company. We never had the chance to speak with her directly, before she made this decision. She claimed that we responded in 1 sentence responses and because of that we were not a good fit. After being on her website we were excited at the possibility of working with her. We responded to her emails during our work hours and provided answers to questions asked. Very Very dissappointed and not a good start to our wedding process. Stress! Hopefully other wedding and event planners aren't so fickle.

A great array of books in the room and downstairs in the parlor, Shel Silverstein, George Orwell... The Historic Benner Mansion built in 1914 has been restored in all its proverbial glory. Comfortable warm and cozy. We stayed overnight on a rainy cold February night and the home was perfectly temperature-controlled, we were even able to go downstairs to the dining area for a midnight snack in our socks, that's how warm the beautiful original wood floors are throughout the two floors we inhabited. We stayed on the second floor in General Trexler's Quarters, a beautiful large, well-lit (windows all around with lamps and a candle) corner room with a separate dressing room and it's own large private bathroom with bathtub/shower. The four poster bed was comfort-beyond, the two teal upholstered seats in front of the television are comfy and great for reading, sipping tea &/or watching black & white Westerns on the tv. The roll-top desk in the bedroom was owned by General Trexler himself! We brought tea up to the room and read books and napped before heading out to a gig in Bethlehem. Breakfast is included, eggs & bacon, in the morning. Plus English muffins and jams, coffees and teas from a Keurig and hot and cold cereals are avail 24/7 in the dining room for your snacking pleasure. We will be back!

This being the first shower I had planned myself it was a great comfort to have Sam be there every step of the way; she was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process. We were able to meet beforehand to plan the floor layout as well as the itinerary. With Sam's permission we were able to drop off decorations earlier in the week and arrived early Saturday morning to decorate. On the day of the shower the mansion looked absolutely spectacular; candles lit and flowers in all the right places. We made use of the piano on the first floor and had a pianist play during the shower. Guests continually asked us how we found just a gem! The Benner Mansion was lovingly restored by the Bennett family and is a beautiful building full of history and architecture; Sam knows every inch of the place and the story behind it. We jumped on the opportunity to book the entire mansion, and 5 of us were able spend the night after the shower. What a treat! I booked a dinner reservation for us at Union and Finch, which was within 2 blocks walking distance. When we returned from dinner we found the mansion was toasty warm despite the cold temperatures outside and we enjoyed libations late into the night. When we retired to our respective bedrooms, we found they were wonderfully turned down and the beds were waiting for us to climb right in. The next morning we had eggs and bacon for breakfast, along with coffee, and toasted English muffins. We all slept comfortably through the night and remarked how insulating the mansion was despite being in a city landscape. I had a wonderful experience working with Sam that will go beyond a business relationship. We are now family :)
