The Lights Festival was held here this year. The farm itself was a great place to hold a venue. I just hope that in the future, that the organizers of this place have a better system in place for when people exit an event. It was complete chaos for the Lights Fest. I didn't leave their parking area for almost 3 hours because it was just congested of pedestrians and cars. I would like to come to the farm for a different event someday and give the farm another chance as I'm seeing great reviews. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's great for planning events, but just my experience at the Lights Festival took away a star. read more

We have had two retreats a year at Bell Gate Farm since 2017. This is a spectacular venue from the beauty of the surroundings to the feel of the event center to the decorations!! My fiancé and I put $8000 dollars down on a contract with 'Bell Gate Farm LLC' in Feb 2022. Our contract included 10 visits with a wedding planner. We had one visit in Nov 2022. In July 2023 we tried to schedule another visit with our planner but kept getting bounce back emails. After multiple attempts to contact the venue, I emailed Stephanie Stevens, the 'owner' who told me my planner had left and gave me the email of another planner to contact. After an initial email the second planner also ghosted us. I had to find out through a vendor the second planner had also quit. I contacted Stephanie again and asked for my contract to be cancelled and money refunded, as it seemed they did not have the staff to support our contract. That was in July 2023. I have not received any responses from Stephanie Stevens or anyone else at 'Bell Gate Farm LLC', nor have I received a refund. I have since found another venue. After further investigation, it turns out 'Bell Gate LLC' is not owned by Stephanie Stevens but is owned by a trust. This trust does not show up in contracts executed by 'Bell Gate LLC'. Their contracts are also not signed by Stephanie, but by their staff further protecting the trust from being sued by their mismanagement. We may never get our money back, but we can make sure no one ever goes through what we have when planning for their special day. STAY AWAY FROM BELL GATE FARM LLC!!!! read more

This farm is beautiful. It's a vast space with lush green grass and surrounding trees. These are areas that are hilly so comfortable closed toed shoes are a good idea. I went for the Lights Festival. The experience was simply breathtaking and the space was perfect. However, there were a couple of minor issues that could be addressed and improve the experience.... more vendors please, the food trucks were pretty sparse and a better exit plan. It took about 2 hours to get out of the parking lot. I think they need a larger designated pedestrian walkway and more volunteers/employees to direct traffic. Not aure if these can be handled by the farm or the event planners but just sharing my thoughts. The Lights Festival is a great bucket list experience but bring a cooler with snacks and be sure your gas tank is full. read more

We had a tour with Dana which went great. She shared all the venue packages that were available, and confirmed that the package we said we wanted was one of the most popular ones. Leaving the venue that day we were in love with the facility - she wrote down the date we wanted, confirmed it was available and said she'd put a soft hold on it for us until we were sent the proposal. After that everything went DOWNHILL. We confirmed we wanted to move forward and it took over a month to receive a proposal from them after multiple follow ups. When the proposal had finally been sent, it had the wrong package included. They told us the package we chose (which was the least expensive one offered) was no longer available, and the next available one was an extra $6,000. After going back and forth with the owner about how we were told one thing - which was in writing - and now not being offered that and not being happy about the price difference, they agreed to "work with us" on a new proposal since it was a mistake on their end. After more time, they finally got back to us with an updated proposal that included the original package price that we wanted BUT included a paragraph of additional fees that were not included on the previous proposal. The price point, after the fees, was almost identical to the first proposal she sent us to begin with. After she sent us the second proposal we have not heard from them since. She has not reached out, followed up, or checked in with us. They have a horrible way of doing business, and made this experience terrible for us. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough, they got our hearts set on a venue that was falsely introduced to us. Their lack of communication, empty promises, and clearly putting dollar signs over customers is shocking to me. It feels as if they lied to get us through the door and fall in love, and then completely changed their minds to get more money out of us. read more

Bell Gate Farm recently completed renovations and the updated space is gorgeous. I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening and was blown away. The two story barn has both a traditional upper barn floor and a downstairs Prohibition Room. The Upper Barn is more traditional in feel with a modern touch. The downstairs area is filled with comfy seating areas and a fantastic bar. This is truly a unique, vintage venue perfect for weddings, birthday parties or any celebration. There is a huge deck for outdoor celebrations (weather permitting). Use all, or some of the available spaces, but the the farm has a stunning selection of available spaces. The owner and her staff are amazing and accommodating. There are rentals for ease of planning-- and the owner's taste and production strengths come from years of planning events for major corporations/stars. read more

There are no words to describe how magical and beautiful was our wedding at Bell Gate. We were just married last month. Lauryn was incredibly helpful and was on top OF EVERYTHING. The food, the overnight room, the service, and the décor were all above what we had ever imagined. They did a great job of arranging all of the other decorations we had brought, and had a lot of great ideas during the planning session. The pond was the perfect place to celebrate our love. If you want to have something so beautiful, scenic and romantic as this, choose this place! It is worth it! read more

This is a beautiful farm located in a bucolic area that is impressive to say the least. Attended a wedding here last evening with high expectations, maybe that was my fault. From the reviews to the first impression we expected nothing short of a seamless evening of celebration. That's where the shock begins. The event, while it's obvious they tried, was riddled with hiccups. From seating (not enough for all the guests from the ceremony through dinner), to mass confusion about seating (they had a very different method of assigning seats including people with "unassigned seating" - what???). Now here's something that will shock your conscience- THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD. They ran out of food by 8:30 PM with 2.5 hours remaining. I'm not saying they went light on the food, I'm not saying the portions of "tapas" was incredibly small (they were) what I'm saying is THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD. Staff was amazingly slow at clearing plates, tables, etc. The old adage of don't judge a book by its cover applies here: it's a gorgeous place but the farm failed in every other aspect of this wedding. read more

Stephanie Stevens (owner) and Careen Mancuso (Chief Operations Officer) have turned this location into an extraordinary event center. They are available to answer questions and make suggestions during the planning process. Our daughter's wedding took place this month and everything was magical. The moment the wedding party entered the suites to get ready we knew we made the right decision to hold our daughter's wedding at Bell Gate Farm. Careen and her crew made sure every detail was handled according to our wishes. You can only imagine how amazing the barn looked once decorated with our decor choices and colors. Our guests continue to call us and tell us how well everything went and how attentive Careen and her crew were to their needs. If you want an evening/location that you will never forget then Bell Gate Farm should be your choice for your wedding event. I recently took a tour of "The Farm" and was blown away by it's eclectic charm and ambiance. The decor is tastefully done and gives you the feeling that you could be relaxing in your own living room or spending time in a warm, comfy den. The barn is ideal for a large wedding reception as well as an intimate bridal shower. It also boasts a full kitchen, able to cater to your every gourmet need. And the grounds are lovely, ideal for any outdoor event you might want to have. By far, Bell Gate Farm is the nicest event center I have seen in a long time! I'll be looking to do a party there really soon! read more
