This time my drink glass had lipstick all over it, which the server thought was hilarious as well as embarrassing. I agree. The Smashburger is not a Smashburger at all. It's a decently flavored frozen puck that's been transformed into what ended up being a decent burger. You see, they know sauces well here as they're famous for all of their house made dressings and add-ons. The fries are homemade and come straight from the potato, but the oil is clearly old and the fries unfortunately were over overcooked. Well, this visit wasn't my favorite visit. I've really enjoyed my meals in the past. I will be back several times as I come through the town, but I'm not sure that it would be a destination restaurant for me. Mine came with baked potato and broccoli that I was not able to swap for their other veggie option green beans. Somewhat disappointing but he just got them for his side and we shared both. The chicken was juicy and tasty however the bruschetta topping had green peppers in it. I don't mind peppers and the flavor profile was there, but I have never had bruschetta with peppers in it anywhere before. He gave a thumbs up for the steak. Baked potatoes served hot with butter and sour cream on the side done well and not overcooked. Our experience was somewhat shaken by another table when a man started vomiting onto his plate. The crew immediately came and wiped up the mess but obviously it was an uncomfortable situation for all. I was slightly concerned that the entire table wasn't cleared off and treated when they left, and they just slid aside the condiment caddy and barely wiped down the table. In my opinion the table caddy should have been removed/replaced and the table and chairs should have been sanitized. The inside is dimly lit with additional table lighting making it perfect for casual dining. Our server was attentive and polite and despite our unique experience I would most likely give them another try when in the area.
