We stepped inside this homey space and decided to eat at the counter, next to the kitchen where Jesus and Leo were working in tandem, preparing and presenting all the wonderful food. The personality at the counter belonged to Joy, manager and the other employees: Luz, Sara and the beautiful young lady whose name escapes me! I craved pancakes and so, 2 blueberry plus a special of chicken snitzel, mashed potatoes and cup of chicken harvest soup. A horse radish cheesesteak sandwich with fries and a soft drink. The food was hot and satisfying but those pancakes really were great! Such a hometown camaraderie with locals who frequent the place. We'll be back to try those pumpkin pecan pancakes!

I tried that with a little piece of scrapple one time and no... That's a little too hard-core for me. The eggs were perfectly done, the coffee was great, the toast was a high-quality, rye, and instead of potatoes, I asked for fruit, and got a nice cup of very fresh fruit.
