Sat at the very busy counter and watched this family owned business hustle to get everyone fed. No complaints here.

Food was delicious and very affordable. You can tell they use very fresh ingredients. Waitresses seemed annoyed but the rest of the staff was very friendly!

Great dining experience. Good service and prices. Portions were big and quality was point given the prices. Loved the greek pie

This is the best diner I have eaten in a long time. The waitress was very attentive. The suggestions she gave concerning the portions of food and what came with each order was right on point. The food came rather quickly for a 12 noon lunch time. My sandwich was Country Boy Melt. It was made with the freshest bread toasted along with roasted turkey, roasted peppers, cheddar cheese and Chipotle Mayo. This sandwich was so good. My son ordered My sisters Chicken sandwich on a fresh Brioche bread. The breaded chicken was so big it was coming out of the bun. The chef obviously takes pride in his food. Hope Guy Fieri finds out about you!

Visited when I was visiting family. Immediately after eating, I thought, "how did I grow up in the Poconos and only come here for the first time today?" and the first words out of my mouth were "I see why this is your favorite diner." Hands down, this might be the best diner food I've ever eaten. I ordered a tuna melt and it was heavenly. The bread was perfectly toasted, the fish wasn't too fishy, the cheese wasn't rubbery, and the sandwich as a whole was flavorful and delicious. This is homemade comfort food at its finest. You can tell that a lot of love and care goes into the preparation of the food, despite the very modest price tag. My cousins had kid portions, which were super big. The staff was very sweet, owners included. The hours are limited, so it's definitely worth checking that they are open before going. However, I would definitely come back here when in the area.

First, the restaurant is so cute. It's like you're transported to a teahouse! The staff are really friendly, and they let you know immediately that everything is farm to table. The eggs were a deep yellow so I knew it was the truth. If you go, definitely order the biscuits and the mimosa flight. The biscuits comes with 4 different spreads (fig jam, peach butter, strawberry butter, and a brown sugar butter). The biscuits were a good size, and my favorite spread was the fig jam. I wish I could have put some in a jar. The mimosa flight flavors are so fun. I was not a fan of the soursop but the lychee and passionfruit are really good. For the main dish, we tried the chicken & waffle and the tres leches French toast. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was crispy. The French toast was actually on a croissant. I can't wait to come back here!

I went with an Arnold Palmer while everyone else got different coffees. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese (asked for no onions, but it came with them). The waitress was super nice about it and had it remade right away. The short rib was tender and really flavorful, and the salad and homemade chips on the side were great. The rest of the table got omelettes and enjoyed them too. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

I was a customer at this restaurant for 30 years. …read more... Their food and their service has been declining for a while now, but "today"we nailed the pin in the coffin..... They will never see me again.... I just left there after having their triple play special, which is .....not very special. I sat 5-booths from the entrance. The employees and their VERY loudmouth female owner... We're all sitting in the 1st booth. The owner was so LOUD!!!!! We couldn't even have a conversation at the table. I said something to my waitress who told me that she she's Latin and loud. I'm Italian.... We invented loud. But we know "common courtesy" and basic manners in a restaurant. This owner has NONE!!!!! I couldn't WAIT to finish my breakfast and head out the door. On my way out, I heard the people behind me complaining that they have not been acknowledged at their booth. Completely ignored customers...... It was employee social hour and; Customers were intruding. I did complain to my waitress, who said that's how it rolls there and that I "would need to move to the back". Move to the back? Well, needless to say ... her commentary and lack of social awareness was reflected in her tip. ZERO!!!!! Watch out Compton's... You are not the only game in town anymore. There are plenty of places to go for breakfast and I would suggest whoever is reading this .... Go anywhere BUT Comptons!!!

Expect to spend a bit more, but the fresh ingredients and energetic vibe make it a popular local favorite. Cozy and feminine decor that is highly "Instagrammable." I've been here a couple of times with my wife before, food is generally fine. Service fine. Today…read morethough - Alana leveled a baseless accusation against me claiming I cursed at her on the street (for transparency, there was a mishap with Grubhub which had me waiting an extra 45 minutes and needing to pick up the order instead... I wasn't ecstatic and all smiles obviously but there was no confrontation and certainly no profanity. In fact, as Alana was walking away after giving me my bags, she was the one angrily grumbling some nonsense under her breath, raising her arms, and venting her annoyance as if I had no right to be frustrated with the situation, which is really why she made up the lie to begin with: entitlement). The owner Angel then gave me a "courtesy" call to tell me how she did not appreciate this, how horrible my mistreatment of Alana was, how "not right" it was, and how she especially did not appreciate all of the profanities. She claimed that my issue was with Grubhub and not them. (I found that "courtesy" call amusing, she had time for this call but not enough for a courtesy call to let me know my food was waiting for 45 minutes under a lamp). I immediately called back after I saw the accusation on my voicemail transcript, vehemently denied it and asked her to tell me exactly what profanity was used. I heard her ask Alana while I was on the phone. I also asked over speakerphone. Of course Alana had no response - she muttered something along the lines "oh so much has happened in the last hour I just can't remember". That's because it was all a lie designed to make herself a victim. It was just her entitlement at work - she was mad and thought of a way to get back at me by making up a lie. I'm sure this has worked in the past for her. It may work in the future. She should be fired for making up such an egregious lie really, but based on the "courtesy" call I feel Angel is likely supportive of these sorts of tactics. Alana felt she could easily accuse the big bad man of verbal abuse with profanity and everyone would just believe her - and they did for a while. While I understand Angel standing up for her staff, she did so with absolutely no evidence. How on Earth can you leave some long chastising voicemail on someone's phone accusing them of cursing at a woman on the street and you didn't check for video, and don't even know exactly what was said? Alana is actually a dangerous person - to make a false accusation like this against a grown man with a family is absolutely insane. Parents, keep your sons away from this person! This is a girl who needs to be seeing a therapist or something. Imagine how nuts you have to be to make up a story about a customer then watch your boss call them knowing you lied. I haven't been accused of anything since like 2nd grade. Bizarre situation. No apology from the owner when it was exposed as a lie. Very immature, absolutely vile behavior.
