Yergey Brewing is top notch. Their draft menu is vast and varied, and the vibes are unmatched. Jim Yergey, the namesake and face of the brewery, introduced himself while we enjoyed our pours at the bar. They were celebrating Christmas in July, and I love a good theme. There were Santa hats, inflatable snowmen, and an ice cream truck - what more could you want? I had the Brown Ale and the Dunkelweizen - both delicious. My boyfriend shared his Wee Heavy and Bitter - again, winning beers. Yergey's was not on our radar when we ventured through Emmaus, but it was the highlight of our random day trip to Lehigh Valley. In the spirit of Christmas, we purchased a bottle of the 2021 Holiday Beer - a doppelbock called Decorator. The bartender even gave us a complimentary matching Christmas Ornament when she overheard that I collect them! If I lived closer to Yergey Brewing, I'd be here once a week. Always a great place to relax and have a beer. Food trucks vary but they have all been amazing and it's nice to have a selection. You can sit inside, in the tent on the side of the building or on the Adirondack chairs in front and watch the traffic drive by. Great selection of amazing beers. read more

On my second visit to Allentown, my girlfriend brought me here to make friends with a young professionals meetup group. I just had one beer (Anna Banana) which was tasty and smooth. There is seating outside for a nice day and some seating for about 25 people at the most. Emmaus has the real deal nano brewery. Yergeys' is BOSS! Jim and his son are legit brewers. The menu carries at least 8 beers at a time. He rocks the higher ABV selections. Great local brewery where the owner goes up to the tables (that he made himself) and introduces himself. A lot of unique creations, like a coffee IPA and a hot chocolate something or other, and more importantly, a lot of great craft beers. The scrumdiddlyumptios beer is by far my favorite. Look. I don't think Yergey has the best beer in the Valley, and I won't pretend they do. But it's good enough. To me, the environment here is what's important. I love coming to Yergey after work for beers with friends. I love sitting outside during the summer, or piling in during the winter. There are often food trucks, which always spark joy within my cold, dark heart. You can very easily run across the train tracks (NO, BE SAFE AND WALK ON THE SIDEWALK) to Switchback, order some pizzas, and bring them back to eat on the picnic tables. If you desire something stronger, it's also right next to a distillery. And if you buy one of their yellow sippy-cups, you can fill up on beer to take over to the Emmaus Theater for one of their weekend BYOB cult classic showings. read more

This place is great! Came here on a Thursday afternoon right when they opened. It looked like it was the husband and wife working the bar and the brewery! We were the only ones in the bar so we were able to talk to them and get to know them and where they started. I am from Colorado so I love talking beer! We had a great experience there! Will def go back when I am in town! The IPAs were awesome! My girlfriend really enjoyed the stouts! I love cozy little breweries where you can see all the equipment. My wife and 3 other friends stopped in this last Saturday, they close at 5 and we got there around 4:30 only planning to stop in quick for our first time and try a few things. We got two flights to split, and there was a lot of good beer. Shorty after we sat, the owner Jim came over and introduced himself. He was very pleasant and professional. Said that if we needed anything to just ask. Right at 5:00, Jim came back and said that we shouldn't be in a hurry, but asked if we wanted a drink to please go order it. We weren't planning on having anymore but it was very nice of him to let us know that he wasn't kicking us out. We'll be back again soon to spend more time there and enjoy a few full sized beers. read more

Fantastic brews amidst a wonderful ambiance. They fill growlers and have an awesome selection of beers. The tables are overflowing with conviviality and it can be crowded and noisy but that's what makes it fun. We haven't eaten there a lot but they have guest cooks and there is table service. My husband and I have stopped in about 3 times now. The owner, Jim, is really great. They have a great selection of beers for just opening. The building could have been tricky to find if it weren't for the awesome color (yellow and green), we may have easily missed it. I've been to some of biggest and best breweries up and down the East Coat so it takes a lot to impress me. Yergey Brewing has some of the best and most consistent beers I have ever tasted. Their flagship beer, Hoptileitious, is an amazing Double IPA packed with so much flavor that the bitterness isn't overwhelming. To top it all off, we met the owner and brewer, Jim, and he has to be one of the most down to earth, nicest people, that I have ever met. There are not enough amazing things to say about this great Valley find in Emmaus!! Phenomenal beer brewed with love by the friendly and welcoming Mr. Yergey himself. The atmosphere is great both in the front and the distiller in the back. the owner walked around and talked to all of his customers. The food truck had great bites to enjoy when sipping on the craft beers. You can try all 8 beers for only $20. The best touch about the sampler is they serve them to you in the order you are suppose to drink them to get the best taste and sampling out of them. Small local brewery that opened just a few months ago. The owner is really friendly and stops by tables to introduce himself and help visitors feel welcome. He makes the beer, food and even tables! Drink prices are pretty cheap (16 oz for $6 or 4 beer sampler flight for $10). There are also a few food options. In November, 10% of all sales goes to a local charity and visitors can vote for their favorite. read more

Went here on a Friday evening as the other local brewery was jammed. Absolutely wonderful time! The beer is fantastic and the owner is one of the nicest people we have ever met. I loved that he was walking around introducing himself to every customer there and explaining how he got started with the brewery. There was a food truck there but we did not eat from it. It's really nice being able to sit in super comfy Adirondack chairs while having a great beer in the middle of the summer. Yergey is a hidden gem in Emmaus and I'm so glad we were able to stop in and try it finally. We will absolutely be back! read more

He then told us about the brewery and how he built the bar and had done all the brewing himself. We felt very welcomed. This little brewery is so cute and romantic, I'm really enjoying my visit here. I am drinking the CaramelCorker and it is kicking my butt! It's strong but has a roasted taste to it. Small "nano" brewery that's a hidden gem, but without a doubt the best beer in the area. Shares a building with Triple Sun Spirits and is within walking distance of Funk Brewing. If you like excellent craft brews, served in an informal setting, then I suggest Yergey Brewing. With eight offerings, spanning citrus light brews to chocolate stouts, the beers and ales here are each a masterpiece of brewing in their own right. I like Belgian ales and "Friend of the Devil" is a top-notch ale, one of the best I've had. The darks: "The King's Nightcap" and the "Simply, Chocolate - Chocolate American Porter" are soooooo wonderful: full-bodied and flavorful.
