This place has pretty good food. They add a lot of basil to the pasta dishes so be ready. But here's my complaint. I ordered a cheese burger and asked to substitute a small side salad for the fries . It's 3 dollars more and then they don't give you the side . So to make a healthy choice it cost you more and they keep the fries. I just don't think it's fair. Just my two cents. So now I will take the fries and not eat them . It's why we are overweight as a nation , it's cheaper to eat fried foods that are unhealthy. Besides all that the burger is probably the best in the area. So you win some you loose some. read more

My girlfriend and I tried this restaurant for lunch during the week, the ambiance is very welcoming. Our server was spectacular at her job and kept checking on us, since we were catching up, they let us sit there as long as we wanted. We both ordered the Tzatziki- Grilled chicken, spinach, tomato, red onion, cucumber, feta cheese, house tzatziki spread, ciabatta roll and comes with French fries. The food was delicious and we loved their homemade Tzatziki sauce, it made the sandwich with all kinds of flavors that just went together. Nice little bar/grill. The ambience and staff are very nice. They have a cool self-dispense beer section where you can get various beers on tap for a good price. The menu is also pretty solid, but I must say the items were very hit or miss. The personal pizzas were ok (decent for the price). Most of the entrees were good, but I would have rather have spent the same amount of money getting similar entrees from a nice steakhouse. The dips and appetizers were very very good! The cocktails were also hit or miss. We enjoyed their espresso martini , but some of their winter drink specials did not taste good at all and there was not much alcohol in them. We went to Capo & Co. for a last-minute surprise date night, and I was genuinely excited. My boyfriend surprised me with this spot after I'd heard nothing but great things -- rave reviews about the atmosphere, drinks, and food. And honestly, a lot of that lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was awesome, the vibes were good, and the drinks were yummy. I started with an espresso martini and it was delicious. The fill-your-own beer wall is also a really cool and convenient concept, especially if the bar is busy and you want a quick drink. I can absolutely see where the great reviews come from and why people love this place. We started with the loaded tots, which were very good and came out promptly. When we ordered entrées, my boyfriend got the cheesesteak pizza (which was delicious), and I ordered the BBQ cheddar bacon sandwich as a wrap. Coming from someone who has worked in the service industry for over 10 years, I'm usually very understanding and cautious about making any requests that could be considered "off-menu." Under the sandwich section there's small red print that says "*make it a wrap," and I wasn't sure if that applied to all sandwiches or only certain ones, so I asked the bartender if that specific sandwich could be made as a wrap. She said, "Yes, absolutely!" and moved on. When we officially ordered, I ordered exactly as discussed. She walked away to put it into the system, then came back to double-check which sandwich I wanted. I repeated my order again, she repeated it back, and everything seemed fine. However, when the food came out, it was a completely different wrap from the menu -- a spicy buffalo Caesar-style wrap with totally different ingredients. I'm usually not someone who speaks up, but when you're expecting a BBQ chicken/bacon wrap and something entirely different comes out, it's tough to ignore. I mentioned that it was the wrong order, and the bartender immediately apologized, took it off the bill, and asked if I wanted something else. At that point, we were already halfway through my boyfriend's pizza because it had taken quite some time for the bartenders to circle back, so I asked if my original order could be made and packaged to go. To be very clear, this review is not blaming the bartenders at all. They were kind, apologetic, and clearly doing the best they could. However, this felt like a management and staffing issue more than anything else. We came in around 5pm on a Saturday, before the main dinner rush, and by the time we left there was a waitlist and hosts were taking names. For a busy hotspot like this, I'm honestly trying to understand why there were only two bartenders on. As someone who's been in the industry for a long time, I notice things others might not -- servers waiting 10+ minutes at the service well for drinks, bartenders visibly overwhelmed trying to manage 25+ bar seats while holding 8-10 service tickets at a time, and running back and forth nonstop. One even said, "I'm so sorry about your food coming out wrong, I'm just so busy and stuck over there," while pointing to the service well and the other side of the bar. Between drinks, we were waiting 10-15 minutes and eventually had to call out "excuse me" just to get a bartender's attention for another drink, a box, or the check -- which I hate doing, because I bartend myself and I truly get it. The bartenders were visibly stressed and clearly being asked to do too much. We also saw other guests at the bar experiencing the same issues. The couple sitting across from us had their food come out before they even had a drink in front of them. My boyfriend had been here before during lunch when it was less crowded and had great things to say, so I don't believe this is always the experience. That said, when servers are repeatedly waiting at the service well and guests sitting directly in front of the bar are left unattended, it becomes a turn-off. This isn't on the staff -- it's on management. Scheduling another bartender, even just to run the service well during the dinner rush, or having management step behind the bar when needed would make a huge difference. I'd be open to coming back on a quieter weeknight to hopefully get the experience all of my friends rave about, because the potential is absolutely there. I just hope staffing during peak hours is addressed so the experience matches the atmosphere and food. read more

Came in here on a whim just looking for a salad and was not disappointed! The "gangster salads" are HUGE and loaded with lots of toppings and protein! I had the steak salad with blue cheese dressing. Great ambiance and staff, unfortunately the food subpar. The mozzarella stick was the best thing out of everything, crunchy and cheesy, but the crust was tasteless. The meatballs were underwhelming, lacking flavor and on the hard side. The penne vodka was most disappointing for almost $20 with small portion and again no flavor. I've enjoyed the chicken parm on previous visits. Unfortunately tonight's was cooked to a much darker brown lending to a burnt flavor. It's by no means a fancy place but it seems reliable for a casual meal. Other items we ordered included the prime rib sliders, pasta Bolognese, a burger and the chicken Cobb salad. Stopped yesterday for a quick dinner after picking up my car with Hubs. Website and menu say it is a speakeasy inspired vibe. All I can say was the restaurant was extremely dark. I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu. The waitress did inform us after we were ordering that they're changing the menu. I wanted to chicken marsala with penne, but I was informed I couldn't choose my pasta despite what the menu said. My dish came with spaghetti. Husband got the salmon with broccoli rabe and roasted potatoes . We ordered a basket of onion rings as an appetizer. While it was a decent amount of onion rings for two people. I really don't think it warrants the 10.99 price point. The horseradish dipping sauce was good although the amount they give you was maybe 2 tablespoons worth in this tiny little dipping cup. See picture. The onions were sweet, but the breading was coming off, and it did taste slightly burnt maybe like the oil was old. Hub's main dish had large portions. He did say everything was kind of drowned in butter, the menu did say covered in a butter sauce. For the broccoli rabe he needed to use my steak knife to cut it. It was pretty tough. My chicken marsala it was a healthy portion, the chicken was thin, sautéed nice, plenty of portobello mushroom slices. The marsala sauce seemed a bit sweet to me, and a little thick and it covered the spaghetti. The spaghetti also had a splash of green onion in it, which I found odd. Husband also had a cup of chili as an appetizer. He said it was very good. It was reminiscent of something you might get in Texas, except that it did have beans as far as the spice and had beef and pork in it. It came with a nice little side of cornbread which hesaid was average cornbread. Overall, the service was OK, there were a couple tables that were having after work drinks, it is casual. Plenty of offstreet parking. Was just OK in our book. Don't know if we'll be back but you might want to give it a try. read more

THIS IS A CLASSIC CASE OF "Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover." Capo and Co is beautifully decorated in prohibition-style speakeasy fashion. Unfortunately, they spent all their money on decor and didn't have enough left over to entice a good chef to join The pizza is on par with WaWa's (that's not a compliment) with crust that's flat as can be.... like an unleavened cracker. Even the kids didn't like it. The Chicken fingers were tough and dense. The fries arrived cold. The tzatziki chicken sandwich had tiny pieces of chicken with no flavor and too much feta. The brioche bun fell apart partly because the cucumber slices were way too thick. So little protein in the sandwich that I was ready to go to another restaurant to eat dinner after coming here for dinner. Dinner salads looked nice, but the spring mix was either not refrigerated well or close to expiring because it was limp. The server was pleasant. The drink menu is very nice. If you're coming for drinks, great. If you want to eat here too, do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. BOTTOM LINE: No reason to return. (Except maybe to sit at the beautiful bar.) read more

The problem with Capo and Co is that I don't think it knows what it wants to be, so it does everything halfway. The decor is a mix of 1920 speakeasy and TGIF Fridays. Is it trying to be a family place for diner, or are they going for the ruckus bar crowd. The food is either generic bar food or attempts at high end items. Even the menus is a half measure, some items are themed like goomba burger and the made man pizza, then you get menu items like garlic knots and chicken fingers. The menu is pretty large, so everyone should be able to find something there to eat, but they do not specialize anything. The problem with this approach is everything ends up being average, there is nothing bad about eating here, but there is nothing good either. The food is fine, the service is fine. It's not too expensive, but it's not cheap either. The best thing is the portions are on the large size. Overall it's an average place to eat, that could be better if they decided on what they want to be. read more

Holy Meatballs! Look at the size of these! I could only manage to eat one with a side salad. Delicious, every bite with the whipped ricotta! I love Capo, authentic Italian food, the best! They have a beer and wine wall too! There is a display of bathtub gin. Capo gets very busy so I would recommend a reservation unless you visit in the middle of the day.
