Mid-afternoon lunch at this charming country restaurant. Tomato soup was served hot and it was good. Beet Salad with greens, walnuts, dried cranberries, and fig balsamic dressing was good. Chicken breast was bland. Service was great.

I took the kids here for my Birthday lunch to try something new. What a great spot!! The outdoor seating was great as well as the service. We started with French Onion Soup and Sweet & Sticky Tempura Shrimp... Delicious. For our entrees we had the Caesar Salad, Chicken Parm, and the Baby Spinach Salad with Blackened Chicken... VERY good! Definitely a Great Spot!

We stayed in Allentown by Bar Louie and the shopping complex there. We reviewed those restaurants, but they didn't appeal to us. My boyfriend found this place less than 10 minutes away, and the charm caught his eye, but the menu and reviews sealed the deal. The bar itself is so cool. It's dark, but in a way that you want it that way, and if it was super bright, it would kill the vibe. The bartender and owner were friendly and kind. We chose the chicken taco pizza special and a salad and had 0 regrets. The aioli on the pizza was great, it also had a peach salsa that added a freshness & the orange balsamic homemade dressing with watermelon radish was fantastic. She brought out Irish soda bread and homemade butter. My first reaction (being from Boston and having had lots of Irish soda bread was ..ugh great.) I have never been more grateful to be wrong, it was light and heavy at the same time, warm and just slightly sweet. Combined with the butter, it was just perfect. The drinks were great, and the dessert was fabulous. The owners wife makes the desserts and we saw the creme brulee was popular, so we ordered it. It did not disappoint. I'm not sure we'll get back there anytime soon, but if we happen to be that area again we will certainly be stopping by. They had a lively outdoor dining area that I would like to check out in the future someday.

I am only giving this 5 stars is because I have yet to have a bad meal in the last decade. Tonight...again was amazing. It was a snowy night with little to no patrons. The service was prompt, polite, and on point. I attached photos of our eats.

Good food, very nice staff, but maybe it is because just how busy it was, service was slow.

I started with the scallops which were perfectly seared and cooked over a thoughtful bed of cucumbers and wasabi and sushi rice. It was an excellent appetizer and I might get the full entrée next time. The 12 ounce New York was one of the best steaks I've had in a year and I've had my share of steaks in the last year. Perfect medium, excellent sear, very good sourcing of product, and not drenched in butter like the posers do- I was a happy carnivore. The truffle fries were excellent, and the broccolini was perfectly al dente and seasoned. Emily, my server, was phenomenal. She was never up in my grill, but always there when I needed her. She made recommendations with some taste tests that were perfect for me. This quaint restaurant in a tiny town of Spinnerstown is an excellent compliment to the area and anyone near it should feel grateful to have it close... for me I'll likely make the drive again.

We thought it would be good, but we didn't expect that it would be outstanding. Their dinner menu was fairly small but had an amazing variety of dishes to suit many tastes. It was difficult to choose, but we settled on the veal and the pork rib rack chop. I knew it would be an outstanding meal when the salads that came with all entrees arrived. I usually grudgingly take a couple bites of a provided (typically uninspired) house salad, but this one was comprised of perfectly dressed greens that were the most tender, delicious, and freshest I've ever had in a restaurant, topped with crispy taro strips and a ring of tiny mung beans. If that level of care goes into a humble salad, I figured the mains would be awesome. They were. Both entrees had beautifully cooked proteins accompanied by generous portions of also beautifully cooked vegetables. The pork rib chop was especially impressive, tender and juicy and nicely paired with the apple mostarda, a sophisticated riff on a traditional pork chop with apple sauce. In addition to the vegetable sides noted on the menu descriptions, we each got haricot verts on the side. I typically eat green beans only because they're good for you, but these were so delicious that they were the only item I didn't take for leftovers. The dessert list was impressively long, and we went for their crème brûlée and a Bavarian with chantilly cream and cherries. The crème brûlée was delicate and smooth, with many specks of fresh vanilla bean and topped with incredibly fresh berries. The Bavarian was excellent as well, mousse-like in texture. Our service had the professionalism you would expect in a high end place. I thought it was an especially thoughtful touch that my box of leftovers was delivered at the end of the meal with the check, so it wasn't sitting on the table with us during dessert. The Savory Grille knows small touches make a difference. Of note, we were in the main dining room, which was a little snug, and the volume with a full house was a bit loud (from talking, not music). The other space looks a bit more spacious. No matter, we had an awesome dinner here that left us with fond memories, and I highly recommend the Savory Grille for a special occasion.

3 times and 3 hits entirely out of the park…read more On our recent visit we were seated at some what of a community table which initially we weren't thrilled about but how they have it set up it truly feels like you're alone at the table, it helped that the other couple was a delight. We ordered the Caesar salad (phenomenal) The steak tartare, just divine perfection The waitress heard me talking about the sweat breads from the chicken dish (that I wasn't ordering, I'll explain shortly) and said the chef could do them as a side dish, DELICIOUS!!! My husband got the world's largest most delicious pork chop. Now, my meal. I ordered the halibut and recognized that perhaps it wasn't for me, but I ordered it it was my choice I wasn't going to send it back. Our waitress took note that I wasn't eating and told me that simply would not do and hustled to the kitchen to come out with the chicken dish, I was so appreciative of her noticing and accommodating this, truly, amazing service and that chicken was succulent beyond words! We also got 3 of the desserts, the seasonal eggnog bread pudding, the cinnamon raisin bread pudding which was insanely delicious as I personally am not a huge bread pudding fan but if every bread pudding was this? That would be my go to! And of course the butterscotch pudding which better never leave the menu because it is lick your plate delicious!!! I also enjoyed a hot cocktail which on a cold night was heavenly. Bolete is such an incredible culinary journey that we specifically go there from our home state because we know it will always be inviting, delicious and warm with heart and soul from the chef and staff.

A once cozy and romantic atmosphere, is now a crowded, loud dining room. I had made a reservation on Resy (as per Bolete's website) and requested an upstairs table. In the notes, I mentioned our anniversary, and that we were looking forward to a cozy table to celebrate. Unfortunately, we were seated in the middle of two other parties, whom were both facing us. The lighting was contemporary, and kept brightening then dimming, repeatedly throughout the evening. There was little to no decor, I'm assuming that was removed to fit the volume of tables. The food was as delicious, as I had remembered. However, my husband ordered the ribeye, and was told they were out of steak, but that the pork chop was a delicious second choice. Sorry...a pork chop is not comparable to a steak. An appetizer we chose was also no longer available. Perhaps if Bolete had stuck with quality over quantity, they would not have run out of our first choice options? For our few, and far between date nights these days, the overall experience was a disappointment.

We walked in and even though it was busy we were taken to our reserved table immediately. The place is big with nice decor and ambiance, and the tables are spaced out enough that it keeps the area around you quiet enough to be able to hold a conversation comfortably with the people at your table. Our server was with us quickly and took our drink orders. All of the cocktails were delicious and several of us got a second round! We got the bao buns, chicken skewers, and birria poutine to start and they were all extremely delicious. The poutine tasted more like molé though so I personally wouldn't call it birria, and the cheese was a molten cheddar-like kind and not cheese curds. It was delicious though so no one complained! I got the curry and subbed tofu for shrimp. It was a little bland and I honestly wish there would've been a bit more of the curry itself (there was so much rice) and some more salt/seasoning, but it was fine. I'd give it a 7.5/10. My coworkers all enjoyed their own dishes (especially the rigatoni) and they kept raving about them throughout the whole meal. Our server was attentive and kept the table clean and our water bottles topped up. I definitely recommend checking it out! We're keeping it i. our list for next time we're in town :)
