We stopped at the Flying V food truck during a visit to the Bethlehem Christmas market and were very satisfied. They had a nice variety of Poutine on the menu that sounded delicious. Since it was our first visit we tried the original. It was delicious. We ordered the small, but were impressed with the amount of food with the order. I liked the dinner that I got here. It's like an American Canadian fusion restaurant. A modern twist on poutine. Several good tasty options, fairly reasonable prices, and very convenient quick service. The poutine is very dense and a bit greasy so even if the portions don't look all that large they will really fill you up. I had the short rib poutine. Very tasty! This is my favorite go to indulgence. Having a Canadian owner means you get the real deal. I am obsessed with Montreal with the brisket, pickles and Dijon but you can never go wrong here. They do fry in peanut oil if that's an issue for you. They will also upgrade to tots for a nominal charge but the fries are fresh cut goodness. The most important ingredient are legit curds! There's a lot of carbs here but the serving is still pretty filling. Not a ton of cheese and it wasn't dispersed throughout kind of situated at the top so you need to monitor your bites to spread out from eating the cheese too quick on top. Being a former resident of Montréal, I have serious standards for poutine. This met and exceeded them. The fries were fresh, crisp, and delicious. The gravy was flavorful and not too salty. There were no distracting flavors there. The curds were fresh. Some people like them either "squeaky" or really melty. I don't. And neither does Flying V. Props for that. If you wanted melty curds, just cover your poutine for a few minutes. The steamy was unmemorable. I wouldn't say it was any better or worse than what one may find Québec. But for the prices, I'd recommend the poutine over the steamy. They probably primarily have that one on the menu for nostalgic purposes. Unfortunately they were out of smoked meat. Such a cute poutinerie we stumbled upon this afternoon while going to pick up bubble tea next door. It's been years since I last had poutine, so the moment I saw a poutine restaurant, I had to try it. I do wish there were more cheese curds, but the over all bowl was super filling. For $10, we ordered the classic poutine plus optional toppings. Between my friend and I, we split the bowl and still felt pretty full afterwards. As we both love vinegar fries, we chose to get the pickled red cabbage on top. However, there were plenty of other toppings lined up at the counter in case you'd rather have it with something else. The staff were friendly and flexible, happy to help customize orders. There was plenty of outdoor seating, as well as spaced-out indoor seating. They seem to be new on the block, so I hope this review will reach others in the community! Horrible service. Got there at noon right when opening. Only sandwich they serve besides the burger is the brisket which was SOLD OUT!? How can an item be sold out when opening? This means they knew they were low, were I'll prepared & didn't care enough to keep the one sandwich they offer on the menu by refilling their brisket. I get if it is end of day & busy so meats may be sold out, but this is laziness for the only item you need to make like this. It was a nightly drive from Reading coming into Lehigh and I couldn't be any more stoked to try some tasty poutine! It Started with the upside down Christmas tree drawing us in to check out their extravagant menu on their wall. As we were ordering from the menu, the amazing lady at the front greeted us and immediately I was captivated by her good vibes and high synergy on the menu. I order everything from desserts to the special potion drink, and at least two poutines; one to eat and one to go!! The atmosphere and host of that place makes it worth it to come in. The awesome lady has such a passionate volume of energy that we kept bouncing off the menu as I enjoyed every suggestion from her. Truly a delight to have and made my night more epic.
