Took a star off only because I asked if the chicken was hot (my first time here) and I was told "No" but unfortunately I'm so sensitive to spice and the chicken was too spicy for me! And there's a spice on the cheese sauce on the cheese fries as well. Not a big deal to most but if you're sensitive it kind of kills the meal. Besides that though honestly this is a cool place! Quick and friendly service, nice booths to sit in. The menu is varied and different from most in the area. I also picked up some yummy banana pudding from the fridge! My aunt really enjoyed her burger and it did look amazing! We took some loaded fries home for jealous family members lol and can't wait to come back! Looking for a quick lunch while in the area, the yelp algorithm pulls up Haaz's. These images looked so appetizing that I simply could not resist. Nashville hot chicken, burgers, platters, gyros, AND tacos? Each of these menu items are worth its own restaurant! This is simply unfair..., how can one even choose? The nice staff recommended the smash classic burger. It was nothing short of absolutely phenomenal! Two smashed patties, lettuce, onions, pickles, haaz sauce. A symphony of texture and flavor! Smash burgers tend to be gimmicky and not worth the hype, but done right, it is glorious. Easily top 2 smash burgers I have ever had. Honestly among the best burgers I've had period. Ok ok....I see you Haaz! Trying to stake your claim in the Bethlehem/Allentown casual food scene. I'll be honest, in the past I would simply drive through Bethlehem, not thinking anything was worth stopping for. Boy was I wrong! Been been here a few times, always "meh". The last time service has been terrible. Staff were rude and acted completely disinterested (or maybe just inept?). Took a 50 minutes to get the food I ordered online. While standing there, i couldnt help but notice how grimey the place felt since the last time I was there. When I finally got my order I noticed I did not get any of the extras I paid for. My cheesesteak was greasy and did not have any cheese! What? How? I even asked for "extra extra cheese" in the notes. Tried to call Haaz's... no answer... tried for almost a half hour. Making a google review, the owner asked me to email them, which appears to be their M.O. when they get any negative review. They respond asking the reviewer to email them, alluding to "making it right"... basically its just an attempt to save face publicly, and a sham. They will never email you back, even if you email them a few times over a two month period. read more

Came in late last night Thursday to grab some food after a long rainy day and the service here really disappointed me. Not to mention the food wasn't that good TBH. First of all the self service ordering was a good idea but poorly executed. Not to mention the main employee at the register avoided all customers and forced everyone to order via machines. Then came the horror of waiting for my food for more than 45 mins. Many folks came after and left before I was ever called to pick up my order which was to go. Plus the cook got it wrong so I had to send it back. The one employee packing food did offer a free drink cause he felt bad for my long wait but honestly after tasting the food when I got back, not work it. This place is mediocre at best. A couple weeks ago I had the chance to check out Haaz's in Bethlehem. This is a pretty new spot but they have a diverse menu that checks a lot of boxes. Nashville Hot Chicken, smashburgers, halal platters, power bowls, tacos, milkshakes ... eclectic for sure. The prices are also right in line with fast food at this point, but the food is significantly better. The employees were friendly and helpful and the establishment is very new and was clean and well lit. The Nashville hot chicken had good heat and was actually covered well with sauce. So many times I find them to be dry or overwhelmingly covered with sauce, this was right in the sweet spot. Chicken Tikka Tacos were awesome. I love a good chicken tikka and theirs is quite solid. The halal platter was delicious, both the meats and rice were seasoned well and the meats were tender. The Jalapeno Smashburger had great flavor and the burger was prepared properly. The Lotus Biscoff shake tasted just like the cookies and was an awesome treat. I don't know what else I can say other than, try them out. The menu is so diverse there's something for everyone. My picky son enjoyed his smashburger and fries and he took half my shake - Didn't Suck! read more

I'm definitely liking the infusion of Halal Restaurants in the valley. Haazs take it a step further with Nashville Hot Chicken and Smash Burgers. I started with the standard chicken platter. Great portion of rice and chicken(that had the perfect hit of heat). I'm not a fan of coated fries and could definitely do with a bigger portion of salad. Haaz's is a new eatery on Scheonersville Rd.(where Burger IM was) I had the Chicken Haazwich w/ Fries (w/Haaz sauce(hot) ). It was excellent. Nice size breast that was juicy and flavorful. My wife had a plain Haazburger w/cheese. She enjoyed it and wants to come back and try more. Like the Gyro and Taco's Met the owner she was very welcoming and great to talk to about her new business. Found this little gem on Yelp while we were laid over in Pennsylvania, OTR driver for FrdEx! so my co-driver and I thought we'd give it a try, and if we're ever stuck out here again will be coming back. The menu was different. Don't usually see lamb as a dish in most places. I got the jalapeño burger I don't know what they do to it, but it was delicious. The meat had the perfect flavoring and the fries. Look like they're cut fresh. The girls taking our order were very nice very helpful and patient as we looked over the menu to see what we wanted to try. My food took a little longer to get out to me, but it was definitely worth the wait. This restaurant seemed to be a local favorite as it was pretty busy inside with a large group of young college aged kids. And DoorDash coming in and out constantly. I would definitely suggest this restaurant to anybody looking for something new to try. read more
