Our family all agree that this is the best Mexican food restaurant in Bethlehem, PA. We are here to visit Bethlehem every Christmas time. And this is the must eat place for us. We have been here continuously for last five years! The food is phenomenon, authentic, fresh and delicious! The owner is so friendly and welcoming. We enjoy all the food in the menu, we have tried all types of tacos, burritos, and nachos, highly recommend corn nuggets and Birria taco!! But you can't go wrong with anything, I promise! And the environment is so cozy and clean! Please come and enjoy like our family!

The people and food were amazing! I wished I lived closer because I would be there weekly. This place is a must try!!!

Shrimp, scallop and steak taco (all flour you do have to request) so fresh, will definitely come back

Been going here for the last 6 years and they have the best tacos in the area. Always fresh!! Everyone is so nice they walk you thru what's on each taco and they actually listen to what you want. Place is clean and very authentic.

Authentic tacos in Bethlehem. Order at the counter, pay & they bring your food to you. Many people get food to go, but I ate at the upstairs dining area. The tacos were very good and reasonably priced.

The quality of the food was remarkable, a superb introduction to the area, guaranteeing future patronage. If you see him at music Fest definitely don't miss out. The staff was incredible as well.

    Fish tacos $3.75 each

Amazing portions! Prices were definitely higher than before but still affordable. Fish tacos were $3.75, so I ordered 3. My boyfriend ordered two steaks and one al pastor taco. We topped it all off with a side of sweet plaintains ($2.50) and two drinks. The food took roughly 20 minutes but the small shop has a couple of seats, which was nice. The store also had an ATM as it was cash only. The fish was a bit disappointing. The portions were big but it tasted like frozen fish filet, the ones you get in elementary school. I would give it 3/5 mainly for the size of the taco itself. The steak taco was also a bit on the dry side of things. Ended up drenching it in sauce which made it pretty good. The al pastor is 5/5. Very tender and juicy!! Highly recommend! The plantains were very sweet but a bit too mushy. It was around 4-5 pieces for $2.50, not sure if it was worth it. Great service which made the experience better

I finally managed to get my car in Cali's parking lot. But, I had to wait for another patron (which…read moredidn't take long) to arrive and I followed them into the restaurant. It's not easy to figure out where the enrtance is. Okay, so I ordered the the ground beef tacos for $12 bucks. You get 2 tacos in a basket with tortilla chips. The chips are a bit weird and different, still not sure how much I liked them. Like Moe's, they have a salsa bar with 4 salsa choices along with various condiments. The salsa's are tasty and I like the flavor in all 3 I tried. I ordered tacos and what they brought to my table resembled a tacos, but the taco expectation ended there. These so called tacos, to me, aren't realy tacos at all. Their assembelled usinf both a hard shell and a soft shell (Taco Bell offers something similar). Whatever you call it, taco is not the thought that comed to mind when eating it. I was hungry and did manage to eat both of the tacos, but considered throwing out the 2nd taco. I was confused and unsure what I was eating. The ground beef wasn't bad, but my main complaint at a Mexican Eatery nearby (Plaza Azteca} is the same. The ground beef is unseasoned. This is fundamentally wrong to me. All the Taco Kits at the grocery store come with a seasoning packet to add to the ground beef when preparing the tacos. I left unhappy, that's not to say I wouldn't try their burrito's. They looked good as seen on other patrons tables. I'm 70 years old and the theme of Cali reminds me of the 60's/70's. The decor, interior, and interior are psychedelic. Retro throwback to the hippie days. The staff reflects that theme - they came across in a kind weird way to me; but not in a bad way! Their is no shortage of happy campers enjoying their lunch (I went at 1PM). It seems like a cult following which speaks to the freshness and quality of the food served. I'm still unsure what was in the alleged tacos I ate. Lol!

My girlfriend got three pork tacos with pineapple. They were stellar due to high-quality meat that was perfectly prepared. The pineapple added some great flavor to the dish without adding sweetness. My barbacoa burritto (no rice by choice) came heavy with exceptional meat and flavor. Absolutely incredible and well balanced. And their guacamole is phenomenal. Although we cannot wait to order from here again, we look forward to visiting the restaurant. Our thanks to the entire kitchen staff for preparing amazing food as if we were dining in their establishment.

As a 5+ year resident in southern california i've come fairly accustomed to Mexican cuisine. I have…read moremy go-to's as well as trying something new from time to time to enrich my taste. that being said i was very interested in seeing what mexican food on the east coast could offer me. It's a small restaurant with limited parking and the dining space being fairly spacious considering its size. Walking in we approach an empty podium but are greeted with a warm welcome within seconds of entering. Our waitress politely greeted us and let us choose our seating. Within a few minutes we received menus and assistance with spice levels and items on the menu and for food i chose a few items. I started with a Chicken and cheese empanada. presentation was good and the flavor was OK but also isnt something i typically get. i didn't eat it right away and will say it's something that's best eaten the moment it hits the table. A few minutes later came the Flautas and i don't like to compare my food to other places but i couldn't help but think of my Fathers flautas when eating these. again, presentation is nice and they weren't inedible but it felt like something was missing. Minutes later came the Carnitas and barbacoa tacos with 1 of them being the carnitas and the rest barbacoa. The waitress recommended i eat the carnitas first then move onto the barbacoa. Doing just that i ate the carnitas and was immediately blown away. The Pico was well made and the flavor was something new, i couldn't compare nor think of something similar to its taste and that became my favorite thing there but moving forward the barbacoa was fairly the same as the flautas in the sense that something was missing. Presentation was good and the crunch on the tacos was just right; not too crispy, not too soft. My girlfriend has the Carne Asada plate with her rating being a 3/5 stating the carne asada was thinner than she prefers and portions being slightly uneven. Overall i'd give it a 3/5 but i give it a 4 due to excellent service. The ambiance is slightly lacking but is something that could improve overtime. For the price id say this place is a great choice for their tacos but some items are questionable. I would come back here again!

Found this brand new little gem of a restaurant through the local newsfeeds about Up And Coming…read moreRestaurants and patiently waited until their opening today. The decor is delightfully modern with an old world flair to it. We were delighted to find outlets and USB charging ports at each table, a great little touch for the working lunch or tech savvy crowd. The staff were extremely polite, courteous and attentive to our needs and extremely helpful when questioned about the menu. We got there literally 20 minutes after they opened their doors for the very first time and were surprised to find them ready to go with their Taco Tuesday menu up and rolling. They started their new venture with a Taco Tuesday menu offering multiple tacos from a Ground Beef, Chorizo, BBQ Brisket to Fresh Fish and Veggie Tacos. Tried hem all and enjoyed every one. Their Fresh Homemade Salsa and Chips were fresh and delightfully tasty, a little spicy but not overpowering like some restaurants where their salsa leave the tastebuds unable to enjoy the entree. After trying these delights we are eagerly awaiting the roll out of the complete menu in the next week or two. The owner Rose Liotta made a point of coming around and visiting each table to greet her clients and thank us all for coming to Street Eatz on opening day, something that is not always a good idea if the restaurant is not prepared and ready, but Street Eatz were ready and eager to go. Next visit should be very very soon and we cannot wait. Finally a well priced, tasty option in the area where food is only outdone by the service.

Absolutely cooked perfectly and the line, cilantro and onions were good toppings for them. 2) So I absolutely love fresh made guacamole. I had called my order in and asked for guacamole and was told it was just one size for $5 and it came with chips. Upon checking out, I looked at my to go and it had a small side of guacamole and a million chips. Not at all what I saw in the pictures. And the guac was just ok. A tad too much salt. The chips were delicious. 3) I ordered some Caldo. Which according to the pictures looked so good. Unfortunately this was the worst thing I ordered. I'm thinking it's going to have some amazing seasonings, and just overall be delicious. It had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, not even salt. I'm very surprised no one tasted this to see that it was missing a whole lot of stuff. Honestly if I lived around the corner, I would have brought this back. I know this is a new restaurant, so I'm just hoping that soup will improve. Also I was told my food would take 10 mins. Got there in about 11 mins and it was not packed at all. And I still waited another 12 mins or so for my food and my order was incomplete. So waited about another 5 for the rest of it. The restaurant itself is very spacious and looks warm and inviting. So these are the reasons for the 3 stars. I do plan to come back.
