I picked up takeout for the first time here and everything was AMAZING!! The service was very friendly and kind and the establishment was very clean and had a very comfortable atmosphere. Now the food... (Mind you we didn't get to eat until 4 hours later so it doesn't look as fresh as when we first ordered) Pictured is the tuna tartare and salad. Salad was really good and the tuna was my favorite out of everything. Perfect texture and flavor. Chips and truffle fries with cheese. Chips were good and the homemade guac was super creamy. My partner had the fries and the arroz con pollo tico pictured and a chocolate milkshake and said they were good. I had the grilled fish with yuca fries, plantains on the side, and half of a veggie taco that my son ate. Taco and plantains were pretty good, and the fish was great. Best yuca fries I ever had! My kids also had the cheese quesadilla which was loaded with cheese and they loved it. The churros were so good! They come with 4 but 2 were already eaten. They come with chocolate sauce and a caramel sauce that reminded me of banana foster topping. Also not shown is the black bean soup which was also very tasty. I got the fresh mango pineapple juice and it was amazing! We had so much food and needed to store more than half of it for another day. They also have an updated menu as of 5/26. Parking wasn't too hard to find with the restaurant being on Broad St. This restaurant is definitely worth trying. Can't wait to go back and order the other half of the menu read more

We have been to neighboring restaurants in the past and decided to try this place out. We were the last customers as they close at 7. Walking in, it seems like a small cozy place but there appears to be ample seating downstairs along with the restroom. The menu is straightforward and simple which I like. I got the 3 tacos for $15 and mix and matched with 1 fish baja, 1 chorizo, and 1 marinated steak. My wife got the 3 tacos all fish baja but with corn tortilla. That is always a good option for people with gluten allergy. My son got the birria tacos. I will say this. My tacos were extremely flavorful and nothing tasted one note. The protein was cooked very well and the fish baja wasn't too much battered to start. For appetizer, we shared truffle fries and while some pieces tasted bit softer than we liked, my family still ate it all up. I do highly recommend this place and I can totally see myself going back to try their salads and rice bowls. Lastly, we enjoyed the warm hospitality from the staffs. read more

Small comfortable restaurant. The downstairs area is pleasant. Great for a group. Upstairs nice too, just a bit crowded. Good for them! Greeted as if I was expected! We were in Bethlehem and in the mood for some Mexican so I did a quick search, on Yelp of course and it led us to Orizaba. We took a seat out front and we were greeted by our server Anisha, she brought us some ice waters and some complimentary chips and salsa while we looked over the menu. I decided on the Crab Enchiladas which were served with a creamy poblano sauce, Mexican rice, pinto beans, sour cream, lettuce, with a radish garnish. When my dish arrived it looked great. I took my first bite of the enchilada and it was so good the perfect amount of crab combined with that tasty poblano sauce... I was happy with my selection. The accompaniments of the rice and beans were cooked perfectly too. My hubby went with the Fish Casados which came with rice, beans, plantains, and salad. He really enjoyed the fish he said it was perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. He also commented that he liked that the salad was a cabbage salad as opposed to the traditional lettuce. He also liked the plantains as well as the rice and beans. I only ate half of my entree because of course I had to save room for dessert. I just had to try their Tres Leches. I had the pleasure of meeting the Pastry Chef Saray who is also one of the co-owners she came out to see how everything was. I told her I looked forward to trying her dessert as all of the other food was delicious. She was very nice. Then the dessert arrived... It looked scrumptious! My husband is also a pastry chef and I told him it looked better then his...lol I took my first bite and I savored it. DINING IN -TAKES FOREVER FOR THE FOOD TO BE BROUGHT OUT BECAUSE It appears that they cater a lot more to orders online for pick up -when it should be the other way around. Dining in customers should be served promptly !!! So if you have about an hour or more to waste for your food to get to your table ..then this is the place to go ...but just so you know- there are other authentic Hispanic food places in the area where you will get served much quicker and they are just as delicious. Jorge and Saray have done a fabulous job in their grand opening. The tacos are fresh and well prepared- simple, clean ingredients treated with respect. Everything is house made from the fresh salsa to the stone ground guac to the chips you put it all on. You'll find their quaint digs to be clean and culturally appointed but don't plan to host a meeting here as the space is tight and the confined area is loud with just a few people talking. So how do they compare to the local crown jewell of tacos "Aqui es" of Bethlehem? (Did you know a national survey ranked Aqui Es the 3rd best taco in America?!) Well, from price, flavor, choice of ingredients, freshness, and careful preparation I would say their tacos are almost as good if not as good as Aqui Es. I would struggle picking them out in a blind contest. The defining difference is the amount of protein as Aqui Es includes quite a bit more. I'm not saying Orzaba is skimping- I'm just saying that comparing taco to taco that Aqui Es certainly packs out their tacos with more of the same deliciousness. So why the 4 stars? Here are some recommendations that will easily take my 4 to a 5. Napkins- people are eating tacos and they need stacks Water- tap water without ice is usually not preferred... ask the customer Lighting - it's fairly dim. Not coffee shop cool dim... more like closet in back room dim. Protein- I truly believe if you matched the amounts of what Aqui Es offers you will be their uncontested rival. Taco Tuesday- give me a good deal on feeding my family and I very well may be a take-out regular. Finally, to the interested reader I recommend that you find this place as your go to take-out Mex / Costa Rican secret... although if you tell too many people you may not get your food as fast as they can get it out now! Absolutely a hidden gem in the Lehigh Valley. Come here now or better yet, order takeout. The guacamole was absolutely fresh and decadent. A fabulous way to start. Definitely get it with grilled shrimp - a perfect combination. The Baja tacos were crispy yet light. The fish was flaky and fresh. The showstopper was 100% the pork shank. It was soooo flavorful and tender. The meat literally fell off the bone and tasted amazing with the perfectly seasoned veggies and wonderfully cooked yellow rice. Great chicken empanadas! I ordered two trays for a party and everyone loved them!! I highly recommend their guacamole.

I give this a 4.5 now because the wife sometimes forgets to put in orders she takes over the phone. Double check she has your order when you call in and probably call again when you're closer so you don't wait an additional 10-15 minutes for your food to be ready. It happened to me once (so far crosses fingers not again) so not bad but I've sat inside to eat three times and have seen multiple people come in for pick up and she didn't have their order ready because idk if she didn't write it down, the slip got lost, doesn't matter, order not ready and so they have to wait. read more

This review is for the food truck. I ordered shrimp ceviche and beef tacos for my son. The shrimp ceviche is the biggest rip- off. For $13, I got this small container with about 6 pieces of shrimp. Not 6 whole shrimps, these are cut in half lengthwise, so it is 3 whole shrimp you get for$13. It tasted really good but disappointed with the portion size for $13. The beef tacos looked good and my son said they were, hence the 2 stars. The portion size needs to increase if they are going to charge $13 for the ceviche. I feel like I was ripped off. We were looking for a new place to try, and I am so thankful for Yelp for pointing us to Orizaba! I wish I could take photos of the food, but in all honesty, we loved it so much that we ate it like savages standing up in the kitchen and didn't even make it to the dining room. LOL! I ordered one of my favourite meals - churrasco con chimichurri - and my fiancé got the brisket burrito; we also ordered patacones and the tacos ticos to share/try, and everything was INCREDIBLE. We drove up and before one of us could go in to get the food, it was brought out to the car. The 15-minute ride home smelled amazing, and we couldn't be happier with this snap decision. For an entree, we ordered carne asada tacos and steak casado. Both were excellent. The tortillas taste homemade. No photos because the food got eaten too fast! It was $60 for two (with online ordering fee and tip) but we got a bunch of food, including dessert and it was all delicious! I can't wait to try something new next time! I've been craving Costa Rican food for 6 years since returning to the US after living in Costa Rica and haven't found anything authentic. Until now. Orizaba has all the food I was craving and it was absolutely delicious! The chifrijo is so good and crispy. And the Gallo Pinto was absolutely amazing!! Also the sweet plantains are perfect. I felt like I was in Costa Rica again. Not only was the food great but the service was as well! The server was so sweet and my dad had told her that it was my birthday and I had lived in Costa Rica. She immediately asked me about that and shared with me that her daughter also loves CR. At the end of the meal, she brought me a delicious chocolate lava cake with a candle in it!
