I ordered Uber Eats delivery. It was a 6/10. I tried the pollo asado taco, Esquites, and Salome Burrito. Taco had no flavor. Esquires were decent, a bit on the sweet side... but one of the better I've had in the area. Salome burrito was a 7/10. If visiting the Leigh Heigh University area, I highly recommend this hidden gem. Service was friendly, place was clean, and one of the highlights was their salsa bar which are definitely home made batches. Not sure where the good reviews come from, but my experience after multiple attempts with this establishment was quite different. They consistently reduce their portion sizes and this time around, my delivery was missing items. I ordered guac and chips for $9, and as the pictures show, the guac portion is laughably tiny. Not to mention, the Gringa is now even smaller, 2 small pieces from a folded small tortilla. The taco fillings are carelessly thrown into dry tortillas, that disintegrate upon arrival. INSANELY good food and service. Owner is down to earth and clearly loves her business. We were looking for really anything to eat after Oktoberfest and it being midnight we didn't expect much to be open. We saw Lu's was open till 2am which is probably nice for the bars and clubs after closing. It's a small spot but very much deserves so much praise. The menu is small which I like since that means the food should be great! Which is was! I got two Carne Asada taco and my partner got the Chorizo and papas tacos. Seasoned so well and cooked perfectly! And we shared the Papas Bravas with aioli sauce. So many fries!! Good portions! Housemade horchata was so good, no ice but it was refrigerated. The sauces to choose from are excellent. She had us try their house made churros and I NEED them everyday now. It was just her and her chef but the service was speedy and the place was spotless. Just had @lutaqueria for dinner 5 days ago. So glad we chose not to cook that night because....‍ I'm so happy that @lutaqueria literally hits the same spot as my previous hometown and made me feel right at home. If you blink while driving you might miss it. Make sure you don't. While traditional take on a mexican taqueria the owner/chef has some great ideas for upcoming menu additions. If you want to go past the obvious ask for their secret menu items of the day. The mild salsa is absolutely perfection. You might want to take a few of them home for later. I was here in Lehigh Valley visiting from Southern California (where one could argue the best place to get tacos is) and was thoroughly impressed by their tacos and salsa here. I only ordered carne asada because i dont eat al pastor and the carne asada was well seasoned and extremely tender! All 3 of their salsas are tasty as well. We stopped here after a Leigh Tour. It was definitely worth it to see the down town. The gringas quesadilla and the chorizo and potato tacos were also amazing. The guacamole was excellent and tasted very fresh. The chips had a little bit too much salt but overall were amazing. The service was very quick and everything was piping hot. The ambiance was very nice and there were many salsas that you could serve yourself. We would definitely come back here although it is tucked away in the back of the Main Street commons but there is easy parking right next door. read more

Great tacos. Had two carnitas two times and they were delicious. Because he makes everything from scratch he knew exactly what was in the food. This was very helpful since I'm gluten and lactose intolerant, allergic to tomatoes and can't have spicy foods. They even made me guacamole from scratch with only avocado, cilantro and salt.
