The flavored soft serve ice cream is good and ice cream consistency is one of the better soft serve places around.

Even though I never had the food, the service, and ambiance here was amazing. I enjoyed the ice cream.

In a desperate need of a good cleaning. Friendly staff but the only reason why they survive is there no competition in area.

Good food. Good prices and timely service. A perfect little lunch spot that is locally owned and not fast food

Last night went and it happened with all of ours (4 in our party). I ordered a soda, two unsweetened tea's, and a water. The taste was a strong cleaning solution taste. We let our waiter know and asked for new glasses and cups. He brought us glass cups instead of plastic and all tasted the exact same, cleaning solution disgusting taste. We let the waiter know again, and opted for bottle water and glass bottle of mexican coke. The manager then came over and shared that this was an ongoing issue and suggested that it was the city and that they have bleach sometimes come thru or their water is dark and that there isn't anything they can do. What should be done is not sell fountain drinks or any drink and if it is the water which is used in all drinks and in food that should be a red flag for customers to be ingesting whatever this is. At the very least provide a disclaimer that drinks and food may be contaminated with whatever they believe it is.....and let the city know.

My girlfriend got three pork tacos with pineapple. They were stellar due to high-quality meat that was perfectly prepared. The pineapple added some great flavor to the dish without adding sweetness. My barbacoa burritto (no rice by choice) came heavy with exceptional meat and flavor. Absolutely incredible and well balanced. And their guacamole is phenomenal. Although we cannot wait to order from here again, we look forward to visiting the restaurant. Our thanks to the entire kitchen staff for preparing amazing food as if we were dining in their establishment.

As a 5+ year resident in southern california i've come fairly accustomed to Mexican cuisine. I have…read moremy go-to's as well as trying something new from time to time to enrich my taste. that being said i was very interested in seeing what mexican food on the east coast could offer me. It's a small restaurant with limited parking and the dining space being fairly spacious considering its size. Walking in we approach an empty podium but are greeted with a warm welcome within seconds of entering. Our waitress politely greeted us and let us choose our seating. Within a few minutes we received menus and assistance with spice levels and items on the menu and for food i chose a few items. I started with a Chicken and cheese empanada. presentation was good and the flavor was OK but also isnt something i typically get. i didn't eat it right away and will say it's something that's best eaten the moment it hits the table. A few minutes later came the Flautas and i don't like to compare my food to other places but i couldn't help but think of my Fathers flautas when eating these. again, presentation is nice and they weren't inedible but it felt like something was missing. Minutes later came the Carnitas and barbacoa tacos with 1 of them being the carnitas and the rest barbacoa. The waitress recommended i eat the carnitas first then move onto the barbacoa. Doing just that i ate the carnitas and was immediately blown away. The Pico was well made and the flavor was something new, i couldn't compare nor think of something similar to its taste and that became my favorite thing there but moving forward the barbacoa was fairly the same as the flautas in the sense that something was missing. Presentation was good and the crunch on the tacos was just right; not too crispy, not too soft. My girlfriend has the Carne Asada plate with her rating being a 3/5 stating the carne asada was thinner than she prefers and portions being slightly uneven. Overall i'd give it a 3/5 but i give it a 4 due to excellent service. The ambiance is slightly lacking but is something that could improve overtime. For the price id say this place is a great choice for their tacos but some items are questionable. I would come back here again!

I really liked the new decor and the atmosphere inside. The service was great; we had an attentive server, but we did have to ask him to come over once because he forgot my friend's guacamole but still was checking on how satisfied we were. The food was much better than I remembered. I got veggie quesadillas, and they were great. I also tried deep-fried ice cream, though the ice cream wasn't in a casing around the batter; I still enjoyed it. Overall, it was a much better experience than my last visit. I'm looking forward to going back in the future.

We've gotten to…read moreknow several of the servers and bartenders over the years, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Unfortunately, we arrived around 8:40 tonight and were told the restaurant closes at 9:00 and that the kitchen was already closing. I explained that we knew exactly what we wanted and could place our order immediately. The host went to speak with a manager, but the manager came back with the same response, so we left. I completely understand that the staff wants to finish up and get home. I also realize that arriving 20 minutes before closing is not ideal. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I know better than to make a habit of that. That said, there were still guests dining in the restaurant, and from my perspective, turning away guests who are ready to order immediately before the posted closing time is disappointing. At our business, we would never turn away a guest during our posted operating hours. I wanted to share this feedback because we genuinely enjoy your restaurant and hope it can be taken in the spirit in which it's intended.
