Sweet Chili Thai Wings

Maraschino Diner is located on MacArthur Road In Whitehall Township. It's open every day from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. This was my second visit, and the experience was just as great as the first. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I've tried the wings, cheesesteak egg rolls, Rueben club, and two of the wraps. The wings and egg rolls were perfectly fried, the Reuben club was stacked with tender corned beef, and the wraps were slightly browned and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Still phenomenal on all levels with a variety of food that is compelling. The staff is amazing and Melissa is such an outstanding server! And there is nothing like being in a clean, well-lighted diner where you can talk, eat, and enjoy!

My first trip to Maraschino DINER just north of Allentown on 7th Street. The restaurant is clean and has a great look on the inside, both classic and moden diner vibes. I had information that their skillet breakfast selections are over the top. This information was absolutely the truth! I selected "The Country Sunrise" which included sausage, bacon, ham, American cheese, sausage gravy; all over Homefries & topped with your choice of two eggs. I choose sunny side eggs and added a 3rd egg. The plate was enough to feed two people! I enjoyed this dish from tip to tail. As I write this, I am craving another one! The top photo is how it was served and I did my best to get a photo of the cross section of the skillet. I can't wait to return and try some of their other offerings. The staff was wonderful: warm & welcoming. I sat at the counter. The coffee hit the mark, which is always one of my pet peeves when visiting a breakfast joint. #rushieeats

Pleasantly surprised by this diner. Stopped in for the first time on their one year anniversary. The Rueben Sandwich was very good. Came with hot crispy fries. The Cole Slaw portion was more like a sample. Could have used more slaw. Waitress was good and kept our drinks full. The outside of the diner doesn't reflect how nice it is inside. Because of the anniversary they gave us each a free cupcake. So full from the food, took that home. Will visit again sometime.

Waitress was incredibly nice! We love our diners and this one was great! I wanted my hashbrowns to have onion so they added them. We got 3 meats to share and they were fantastic! Would most definitely recommend and go again. Can I find a negative here? Maybe the parking on the side of the building. That's it! Make the trip!

Portions were huge, we wish we knew. The country sunrise skillet was not what we expected (my bad for not reading that it would be topped with gravy). The chorizo omelette was ok. The Mexican eggs Benedict had a weird sauce on top. Nothing was really bad but not my type of food.

What a wonderful experience. Came in today and had a simple eggs, home fries, and rye toast. It was fantastic, staff was fantastic, decorations were beautiful. Also love the story of your start up, the love was in the air and tangible. Door and windows could use a nice cleaning but

Delicious food; great prices; professional, enthusiastic, and attentive staff; and cute decor. Ample parking too.

When I first started going to the diner the service and food were very good. Was there the other day both food and service were horrible.

I decided to get the Antwerp with Nutella ice cream. It was just stellar. The waffles here are not the typical soggy grocery store ones. No, they are made in house and are liege waffles. So, more chewy and sugary with bits of crunch at the edges. The ice cream is also so so good. Super creamy. A pretty nice amount of Nutella flavor (could always be stronger though). Just really good and a really fair portion. When the two are paired together, it's just exquisite.

The menu lists waffles in several flavors: plain Liege; Antwerp with ice cream and chocolate sauce; Bruges with strawberries and whipped cream; Namur with bananas and Nutella; Charleroi with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella; Ghent with bananas and Speculoos cookie butter; and Waffallonia with an unlimited number of custom toppings. Toppings include whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, Nutella, Speculoos, Belgian chocolate, caramel, dark chocolate shell, and the business's small-batch flavors of ice creams. During my recent visit, an employee promptly and politely served me. I ordered one Ghent waffle for $6.31 plus tax and tip. The employee made the waffle fresh in a reasonable time. Some indoor tables and chairs were available, so I sat down to eat. My Ghent waffle was nicely chewy and was topped with delicious Speculoos/Biscoff shortbread spread and slices of bananas. I rate it as 5 stars. Waffallonia's website says that 100% of their electricity is supplied from renewable sources and that they use compostable plates and recycled materials--other reasons to like them!

We walked there but parking seemed available here and there on the street. Apparently they are a small chain and we were excited to try them out! Very busy even on a regular Monday morning. We got seated right away and overall it's a great and reliable breakfast place where you get good service and your coffee cup is always full. My friend had the bananas Foster waffles which he said were pretty darn good! I can't really eat sweet things like that in the morning but I had one quick taste in a definitely have that good bananas Foster taste you would get in New Orleans. I had The Benny which was amazing and full of flavor! Definitely a good way to start the day with a good protein laden breakfast with tons of flavor. I assumed they took the phone off the hook because once I arrived I was told my order, to go will take 45 minutes and the phone didn't ring once. I never had a problem here since I've been coming here since the opening. Food is always good and the service is great also. But today, I was disappointed with how this was handled.

He got over easy -they over cooked them and I got scrambled with American cheese- they were so salty I had to return them. I could even see the salt on the side of the plate.... Parking can be a little challenging, but there are several nearby garages that make it manageable. 10/10 experience. So grateful we got the chance to try smashed waffles. His accent was heavier and harder to understand than my wife's. I'm Caucasian and was born in the US. I enjoy meeting and befriending people from around the world. However, when an immigrant such as this jerk treats my immigrant wife as somehow lower, yeah, he's going to hear it from me. The coward hid in the back but I yelled loudly that I'm a native-born American and that he has no more right to be in this country than anyone else. I tried a sample of the ice cream before his bigoted hissy fit and it wasn't bad but there's MUCH better ice cream in Pittsburgh. They have a limited selection, too. Take your money elsewhere, this guy is trash.
