Cup of Seafood bisque
Kim G.

Stopped in this diner after a morning of tricky tray in Bethlehem and the Allentown Farmers Market. Wow. Just wow. Love love love the ambience of red and white. Very clean diner. Seafood bisque was so yummy. The house salad was fresh and crisp. I believe Natalie was our waitress and she was so attentive and kind. On her toes the entire time as was the rest of the staff. The staff even sang happy birthday to a patron!! Love the personal touch! I would love to go back for dinner next time!!

Maraschino Diner is located on MacArthur Road In Whitehall Township. It's open every day from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. This was my second visit, and the experience was just as great as the first. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I've tried the wings, cheesesteak egg rolls, Rueben club, and two of the wraps. The wings and egg rolls were perfectly fried, the Reuben club was stacked with tender corned beef, and the wraps were slightly browned and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Still phenomenal on all levels with a variety of food that is compelling. The staff is amazing and Melissa is such an outstanding server! And there is nothing like being in a clean, well-lighted diner where you can talk, eat, and enjoy!

My first trip to Maraschino DINER just north of Allentown on 7th Street. The restaurant is clean and has a great look on the inside, both classic and moden diner vibes. I had information that their skillet breakfast selections are over the top. This information was absolutely the truth! I selected "The Country Sunrise" which included sausage, bacon, ham, American cheese, sausage gravy; all over Homefries & topped with your choice of two eggs. I choose sunny side eggs and added a 3rd egg. The plate was enough to feed two people! I enjoyed this dish from tip to tail. As I write this, I am craving another one! The top photo is how it was served and I did my best to get a photo of the cross section of the skillet. I can't wait to return and try some of their other offerings. The staff was wonderful: warm & welcoming. I sat at the counter. The coffee hit the mark, which is always one of my pet peeves when visiting a breakfast joint. #rushieeats

Pleasantly surprised by this diner. Stopped in for the first time on their one year anniversary. The Rueben Sandwich was very good. Came with hot crispy fries. The Cole Slaw portion was more like a sample. Could have used more slaw. Waitress was good and kept our drinks full. The outside of the diner doesn't reflect how nice it is inside. Because of the anniversary they gave us each a free cupcake. So full from the food, took that home. Will visit again sometime.

Waitress was incredibly nice! We love our diners and this one was great! I wanted my hashbrowns to have onion so they added them. We got 3 meats to share and they were fantastic! Would most definitely recommend and go again. Can I find a negative here? Maybe the parking on the side of the building. That's it! Make the trip!

Portions were huge, we wish we knew. The country sunrise skillet was not what we expected (my bad for not reading that it would be topped with gravy). The chorizo omelette was ok. The Mexican eggs Benedict had a weird sauce on top. Nothing was really bad but not my type of food.

What a wonderful experience. Came in today and had a simple eggs, home fries, and rye toast. It was fantastic, staff was fantastic, decorations were beautiful. Also love the story of your start up, the love was in the air and tangible. Door and windows could use a nice cleaning but

Delicious food; great prices; professional, enthusiastic, and attentive staff; and cute decor. Ample parking too.

When I first started going to the diner the service and food were very good. Was there the other day both food and service were horrible.

We were seated in a back booth which was quite comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and took our drink order. She returned with those and brought a variety of warm bread and rolls. Very nice and tasty. We ordered entrees which all came with a salad and 2 sides. I selected the Broiled Twin Lobster Tails with a garden salad, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The salad was delicious and a nice size. The Lobster tails were excellent. Succulent and flavorful. Truly the best I've had in years! The sides were well prepared and very tasty. I will be back here soon and I highly recommend this local gem to all seafood lovers.

It feels so good to be back, everything is just as incredible as I remember. My friends and I started with the bacon wrapped scallops, fried calamari, and escargot and garlic butter. The scallops could have used a few more minutes in the oven, but overall, the appetizers were flavorful and skillfully prepared. For dinner, I ordered the fruits de mer, one of my favorite dishes, and Henry's absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dish features a generous mix of lobster, shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat, all served in a creamy garlic sauce over linguine. My friends had the broiled cold water lobster twin tails and chicken Alfredo. The lobster was sweet, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and served with brown butter. The Alfredo was rich and creamy, with juicy, well cooked chicken. Our server, Jaime, made the evening even better. She was attentive from start to finish. It's open Monday through Thursday, 11 AM - 10 PM, Friday and Saturday, 11 AM - 11 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM - 9 PM. Having lived in Whitehall for 20 years, I've visited this location numerous times, and it never disappoints. The food and service are nearly always spot on! On my last visit, I started with the crispy calamari, coconut shrimp, and bang bang shrimp. While the shrimp dishes were delicious, the calamari was a bit of a letdown. Although it was nicely seasoned and had a good crunch, the pieces were so small that it felt like there was more breading than actual calamari. For dinner, I had the filet and lobster tail. The barrel-cut filet was thick, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection, and the lobster was hot and flavorful. Honestly, the filet might be the best I've ever had from a chain.

Hope took care of us and she was amazing with both food and drink. My girlfriend got the key lime martini, which tasted just like the pie. My dirty Bombay Gin martini with blue cheese olives was phenomenal (even though the blue cheese covered the tops of the pimentos). We started with their lime and cilantro cauliflower over cole slaw as well as their warm bread with dipping oil. Both were good, though the cauliflower was a little over-saturated. My girlfriend got the beef potstickers special. She enjoyed it, though once again, they went way over-board with the sauce. However, my crab and corn soup was stellar. I could have eaten bowl after bowl until I went unconscious. My main dish was the blackened ahi tuna. Though slightly overcooked, it was wonderful and the Brussel sprouts were fantastic. We look forward to coming and trying some other dishes. Another reason for our return: When ordering two adult beverages, an appetizer, and two main courses, we normally pay 25% more elsewhere. That's one great incentive to give it another go.

Two of us each had a beer, one Shrimp Cocktail for the table and two dinners & the bill with the tip was $150. Wow.
