Huevos Rancheros
Kimberley A.

The Queen 8/10 Really good. The sweet and salty combo of the bacon, chocolate, and banana was amazing. The only thing is that it was a little dry. Definitely could have used some syrup. Huevos Rancheros 9/10 Chili was good, eggs cooked great, and loved that you can eat the bowl too! The crispy edges of the tortilla were really good. Aunt Barbara's quiche 10/10 Best quiche mom has ever eaten!

Hole in the wall kind of place --food was so good!! If we're ever back in Bethlehem, we would definitely come back.

Ordered my go-to, egg white omelet with onion, mushroom, and red pepper with coffee. Upgraded to home fries instead of toast. Service was good. Happy to try this popular neighborhood eatery. Interesting menu items look forward to trying.

Bourbon Banana Croissant French Toast w/ a side of Scrapple... Both Delicious!
Kimberly S.

I love this place! Everyone was so nice and the food was delicious... We stopped here for breakfast on the way to the Christmas market at Steelstacks. I had the Croissant French Toast w/ Bourbon Banana topping and a side order of scrapple. Very few places sell scrapple so when I see it on a menu I always order it. The French toast was so good and the portion was so large I could barely eat half so I ended up taking most of my food home, but I can assure you I finished the rest the next morning for breakfast because I couldn't let that goodness go to waste. My husband ordered the Breakfast Mac & Cheese which had a potato bottom, the macaroni, sausage, bacon, and you can add an egg for $2 extra. He loved his skillet and finished his. Their prices were so cheap I was shocked. Most of the meat sides were only $2 and to add a side of breakfast potatoes only $1 Definitely recommend!

The People's Kitchen is a restaurant in Bethlehem that specializes in brunch. It can be found at the corner of Linden and E North Street. I haven't been here in awhile so it was time for a visit. I walked down on my day off and everything was just as good as I remember. Good food. Great service. I ordered one of their specialties: The Breakfast Mac & Cheese. Delicious! It's a combination of breakfast potatoes, macaroni, hickory smoked bacon, and maple sausage. You can add an egg for $2.00. This small kitchen only has six tables and a bar top so a slight wait time shouldn't be a surprise. They don't take reservations so it's first come, first serve. Really tiny venue. Friendly waitress. I wanted the breakfast mac n cheese but they were out so tried the Debbie Downer. Sandwich that uses two pieces of french toast. Served with a side of breakfast potatoes. Nice local spot

Berry Compote Smash French Toast

This place is THE BOMB! If I could have a 6th star, I'd have given it to them! It's a tiny place, but dynamite comes in small packages. I had the bourbon banana French Toast made with a real delicate sweet crescent roll. This came with sliced bananas and a dousing of the bourbon cream white sauce. Oh my goodness! You MUST go and try it! The fresh berry compote my friend had was also amazing, and they had a "pork roll" that was new to me, but was delicious. My friend had Scrapple with a soft fried egg over it as well. The service team was fully engaged and we loved this place. I don't live near here, but if I did I be here at least 2x/week! Seriously, this was incredibly delicious and I'm still dreaming of it. Try it, you'll like it!

A favorite brunch spot. Tiny, can have a bit of a wait, but worth it. We like sitting at the counter for a little bit quicker service.

We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic. What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible. Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar. I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more. She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day. I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house. We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

Thank goodness we planned some flexibility after the meal before our show started. But the real downer of the meal was Alison. Our server had such an attitude... while the food was pretty good, she was not. The place was also too loud and had no vibe. The bar crowd spilled into the seat area and looked messy. Wouldn't go back.

Coming from New Jersey, the diner capital of the world, Billy's surpassed our expectations. We visited on a busy Saturday during lunchtime and had to wait 15 minutes for a table. It was worth it. My wife ordered Yanna's omelette and I ordered the vegan pancakes topped with strawberries and bananas with a side of sausage. My wife loved her omelette. Lots of spinach and feta cheese. Huge portion of potatoes on the side. My vegan pancakes were made with Almond milk. You have the option of ordering how many pancakes you want to eat. Based upon advice from our waitress, she suggested two since they were big. Good choice. Of course, we had coffee to wash it all down. As coffee snobs, the coffee was very good. The service was excellent and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. Believe it not, this is the first diner I have been to that offered vegan pancakes. For people with dairy issues, this is a great thing. The restrooms were clean which probably tells you the kitchen is clean. There is plenty of parking in a public lot across the street and ample street parking.

**Restaurant Review: Thyme Brunch**…read more I knew I wouldn't be disappointed at **Thyme Brunch**, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. My best friend was visiting from Arizona, and since he'd never experienced this gem before, I couldn't wait to share it with him. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and attentiveness set the tone for a perfect meal. Their friendly recommendations made our celebration of friendship even more memorable. We took their advice and ordered the **Shrimp & Grits** and the **Pork Belly Hash**--both were phenomenal. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the grits had an incredible zing that left me wishing I knew the secret ingredient. The pork belly in the hash was generous and rich, and we even added an extra egg so we could each have one--definitely worth it! And then there's the **view**. We were lucky enough to get a corner window seat overlooking the fall foliage and the dramatic incoming storm clouds--it was absolutely breathtaking. Between the food, the view, and the impeccable service, it was an unforgettable dining experience. I regularly drive 30-45 minutes to eat here, and it's always worth every mile. I've never been disappointed. Even my niece still talks about the **burrata**, saying it was the best she's ever had--and that was four years ago! Thyme continues to be one of my favorite spots--consistently excellent, beautifully presented, and always made with care. *Chef's kiss!*

The view of Easton at dusk was absolutely beautiful. We started with the Crispy Chicken Dumplings, and they were fantastic. Perfectly crispy without being greasy, packed with flavor, and balanced really well with the slaw underneath. We also had the Burrata with peaches, honey, crispy pancetta, and crostini, and it was one of the highlights of the meal. Creamy, salty, sweet, crispy... just a really well-balanced dish. I had the Thyme Old Fashioned, which was one of the better Old Fashioneds I've had in a while. Simple, balanced, and well made. For dinner I had the Short Rib and it was excellent: rich, tender, comforting, and exactly what you want from a dish like that. We finished with the churros, which were the perfect ending. Service was definitely on the slower side, but our server was very nice and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience instead of feeling rushed. Thyme feels upscale without being pretentious, which is hard to pull off well. Great food, amazing rooftop atmosphere, solid cocktails, and a memorable night overall. We'll definitely be back.

My friend and I stopped by late Thursday morning and were immediately greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our server Nikki was friendly, and the food was delicious. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I had the daily quiche, while my friend chose the grilled veggie sandwich, and we shared the blinis. The quiche was packed with broccoli, cheddar, and bacon, a classic combo that never disappoints. The sandwich was layered with eggs, spinach, roasted peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella, and Cooper cheese, all tucked into perfectly grilled multi-grain bread. The blinis were crisp on the outside, light and fluffy inside, and topped with sour cream. For those unfamiliar, blinis are small, tender pancakes traditionally made with yeasted batter. With its consistently tasty food and inviting atmosphere, Mitzi's remains one my favorite brunch spots in the Lehigh Valley.

I'm from New York, and my sister moved to Pennsylvania, so she introduced me to this spot. Now every single time I visit her, I somehow end up right back here because the food is just that good. They used to have a second location that closed, but honestly, it doesn't even matter because this one was always my favorite, the food here is on another level. We always start with the Brussels sprouts, the fried green tomatoes, or the hush puppies. You simply cannot go wrong with any of them. The appetizers are always hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. And then there's the mac and cheese... absolutely to die for. Even the children's mac and cheese is ridiculously good. Creamy, cheesy, comforting, exactly how mac and cheese should be. Their salads deserve their own shoutout too. The goat cheese salad with pickled eggs is perfection, and the Caesar with cornbread croutons? Genius. It's the kind of detail you don't expect but end up craving every time you think about it. But of course, the real star of the entire place is the cornbread. Truly heavenly. They serve it warm, and the whipped butter melts right into it, it's honestly dangerous how good it is. I could eat the entire dish by myself without hesitation. The service is always great, quick, friendly, and welcoming. It's one of those places where the vibes feel just as good as the food tastes. On weekends, it does get packed, so making a reservation is probably a smart idea. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the consistency, everything hits. Once seated, our server was the only bright spot of the night, he was amazing and clearly doing everything he could. Appetizers came out quickly and were good: the cornbread was delicious and the cauliflower app was solid. Then everything fell apart. We waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for our entrees, even though the restaurant had basically emptied out by then. When the food finally arrived, some dishes were cold and others were dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. For a place charging these prices, this is unacceptable. What made the experience worse was management's complete lack of accountability. The GM never came over to apologize, acknowledge the delay, or offer any form of compensation, nothing, despite us being patient, polite, and spending over $400. At that price point, basic service recovery should not be optional. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. There's clearly a reason reservations were easy to get during the height of the Christmas season. We will not be returning.
