Sundae flight - Four ice cream sundaes with whipped cream and cherry toppings are displayed on a wooden tray inside a retro-themed eatery.

Dropping a review for multiple stops at DAT's in Nazareth wrapped up in one. First stop I had the "Over the Top" hot dog and the second stop I had an ice cream sundae flight. The spot is very cool, 50's feel to it, LP's hanging around, a jukebox, etc. Everyone I spoke with both visits were very friendly and helpful as well. The Over the Top dog is a big ol hot dog with a grilled cheese for a bun topped with bacon, tomatoes, and diced onion. The dog was good quality and how could it possibly be bad with a grilled cheese attached?! This one just made too much sense to try out! I'd definitely get it again. The sundae flight was really awesome. You choose 4 ice creams, and 4 toppings and they'll all come with whipped cream. They have quite a few different home made flavors to choose from and many toppings. I believe this was in the ballpark of $12 and I'd pay it again any day of the week. DAT's ... simply ... Didn't Suck!

Finally stopped into this gem. What a pleasant surprise. Clean, friendly and attentive service. Excellent ice cream selection too.

Mushroom Swiss Burger with Onion Rings - A burger topped with tomato, onion, and lettuce, served with onion rings and a drink, on a table at a retro-themed restaurant.

Good place off the beaten path. Good onion rings and inexpensive ice cream. Friendly waitress & nice atmosphere.

French dip with fries - A tray with a roast beef sandwich, French fries, a glass of soda, and a bowl of gravy on a table with a newspaper-style liner.

50's style eatery with excellent sandwiches and fries. They have those battered seasoned fries that are delicious. We had a wonderful experience

Stop by on the chance that this place may be great. I always love 50s locations and had high hopes after looking for a lunch spot. After walking in......you could hear 50s music. So far so good.....although the music was louder than it needed to be. I ordered a California cheesesteak and a chocolate milkshake. The menu made everything look good. The milkshake arrive first and was fairly decent but the food........I guess In keeping with the 50s theme came out 50 minutes later. Ugh. Not sure why the delay as they were not that busy. Anyways after receiving the cheesesteak it wasn't that great. Bread was stale and the cheese had not even melted. The tater tot's which came with the cheesesteak was the best part of lunch. After looking at several of the reviews below who ranked this place pretty low...... most of them are spot on. The place appears to be run by a bunch of high school girls. Although I don't want to be too critical my advice would be go for the ice cream but skip the food!!!! After all you can't screw up ice cream

First off I'm not saying the food is bad, it's not. I have eaten there multiple times with no complaints. But that said I went there tonight for some ice cream. BIG mistake ! The soft serve portion was very small and it's not as creamy as Petey's Eatey's . Now I understand why there is always a line at Petey's. At Petey's you get about a pint for a small . At Dat's you get a half of a scoop. But I did save $0.25 , I guess you get what you pay for. With the high cost of EVERYTHING today , people want their monies worth.

Ice cream delicious, had that first. Fresh juicy burgers and a health spinach salad with roasted peppers and mozzarella salad. Great greeting immediately at the door friendly, engaged waitress. Will return with the grands.

I finally got a chance to stop in today for lunch and I have to say that I'm sorry I didn't get to stop in sooner. This is a cozy little blast from the past. The Food was awesome no complaints at all. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. Good tunes playing and the decor was great. The only downside was that we were so full after lunch we didn't get to try the ice cream. Just gonna have to make another trip

Awesome, even though I never tried the food, the service was amazing. The ambiance. Was too. I enjoyed the Italian ice and ice cream.

Trust me on this one - I took my family there 2 nights in a row, and we were only in town for 2 nights! Service was friendly, knowledgeable and spot on. Vibe is PA bar classic. The food is AWESOME! Don't think of this as just a pizza place either, although the Detroit style pie is excellent! The chicken tenders are killer: special in-house breading, huge, more than a simple tender, these are hefty. Most of us only ate 2 of the 4 in a serving. Wings - go for the HOT sauce - also a hit. As were the cheesesteaks and the sophisticated grilled cheese varieties. And the Pizza. Order the Hot N Honey one, or whatever hits your eye at the moment - can't really go wrong. And the cast iron apple dessert is killer too! Wouldn't be a fair review if I didn't give you at least one thing to skip: barbecue sauce is an acquired taste, and I lived in KC, so I've acquired a different one. And the parking can be difficult - because, as I said, the food is so good people come here from all over. Worth every bit of your drive. Best advice: COME HUNGRY. Get Mozzarella for all. Order enough to take home!

I enjoyed it a lot. Service was great. Our orders were taken quickly and the pizza came out fast. First…read moretime was to try the cheesesteak and then I came again to try a mammoth breakfast sandwich (the belly buster). Both of these trips were a little while back and I'm honestly due to stop in again and try something else out. I stopped in for the cheesesteak December of 2021 and I went back for the breakfast sandwich December of 2022. The cheesesteak had the cheese mixed throughout and it was on a pretty solid roll. There was less meat than I had hoped (trails off towards the end of the roll on both sides) and it honestly could have used more cheese too, but it was definitely something that would scratch an itch. At the time the price was excellent (like $8.50 or something in that range) but I am not sure if it's still around that price or not. This isn't something I would go out of my way to get again, but it wasn't something I was upset about at all. The breakfast sandwich was a beast. Pork roll (or whatever you call it), bacon, eggs, cheese, hash brown on a Kaiser. The flavor was good all separate and once I was able to actually get my mouth around it and get everything in one bite, it was solid. It isn't something I would suggest eating often, and I'm sure your cardiologist would agree. Either way, pretty tasty stuff. Going to have to check back in soon for sure, but for an economy steak I was happy and for a once a year breakfast or so, it did the trick.

The best place around for a great portion. The price is fair but the wait can be a pain. Best ice…read morecream too. But like all good things the party is over. They closed their doors for good a couple months ago. Going to it into a convenience store. Sad !
