Absolutely no complaints. They make awesome poutine and burgers and they're the only place in Bethlehem that do so.

I had the bacon poutine. It was very good. From the taste, I believe that they smoke their own bacon. It had the perfect amount of cheese and gravy to accentuate the bacon and fries. Price was a little high for the amount you are getting. The restaurant is a bit limited on seating. If they removed the big board on the wall they would have room for at least four more seats. Lots of Lehigh students coming and going while I was there. I would recommend this place to friends. read more

Amazing authentic poutine with a local brewery - winning all around. Got the traditional poutine and Apple pie hard seltzer. The poutine were on par with if not better than ones I have had in Canada - all ingredients were fresh and delicious. Hard seltzer can be described as perfect. First of all this place has an amazing vibe and when I was there I thought I heard live music. I was indeed right and the music being live played by actual people with flaws and all made the atmosphere just come alive. The service was super friendly and they even encouraged us to go upstairs to listen to live music why we waited for our food. If you've never had poutine it's quite the experience it's like all the best savory food you can think of all in one glorious concoction. I got the Buffalo chicken poutine with lots of topping (Soooooo many to choose from) and it was just delicious. The boxes looked small but they packed so much food in them and they were DENSE. I've had their food since they opened. Sadly the beer is not available (due to state issues, rather than store). Always enjoy their food and they were happy to fix my order. I'm picky about egg white being cooked and they were more than happy to fix it. They even now know my name (for hopefully better than worse) and do it even for my online orders. This place cares and has a great atmosphere. Top restaurant and I'd recommend it to anyone. Clean kitchen and easily viewable so you know the quality and care that's put into their work. Fantastic. That's the one word that comes to mind here. I've had their poutine several times at the food truck as well as in the new restaurant, in many variations and it's been fantastic everytime. The owners and staff are great and friendly people. I just had the Cavetoberfest (special) and it's probably my favorite so far. Perfect balance of pork to cheese to kraut to mustard. Nothing overpowered another. Highly recommend trying this one before it's gone. I like the fact they partner with Cave brewing and have their beer on hand, nothing like small businesses having each other's backs. One thing I'd like to see is maybe some canadian deserts to complement their delishious meals. read more

Delicious! First had a sampling of the routine at Musikfest and fell in love. So happy they have a brick and mortar in South Bethlehem. I had the classic and my husband had the Montreal. Both were excellent but the smoked meat on the Montreal was to die for! I love that this place serves something so different from other restaurants. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back and try something different. read more

Was looking forward to trying the Flying V for awhile. We were super excited to see a brick and mortar place in Bethlehem as we only knew about their food truck. What a disappointment! We order the short rib poutine. The fries were cold and obviously prepared ahead of time. The short rib was sparse and not flavorful. The gravy was also lacking. In comparison, Two River in Easton does a much better short rib poutine. While leaving, we looked over the open kitchen and notice all four fry baskets were hanging full with fries that were already made. This explains the cold fries. They certainly were not that busy to warrant the amount of fries prepared! read more

Good stuff. I've had poutine but never been to a "poutinery" so was eager to try it. Kids and I got the Classic, it was a spot-on balance of fries, cheese, and gravy. Wife got the Buffalo (which has Buffalo chicken and ranch) and let me try it, and it tasted good, but pretty much what you'd expect. Atmosphere is great, decor is modern, even the restroom is pretty nice. read more

We tried this place for the first time last week. I called with a few questions before placing my order and they were very helpful and friendly in answering. We ordered a few bowls of poutine, a hot dog with fries, and the NAFTA wrap. The ordering/paying/pickup process was very easy and the restaurant inside looks like a cute spot that I will enjoy once I start dining-in again! Service was friendly, the place was clean, and employees seemed to be following all of the current Covid safety regulations. Now for the food- it was all delicious! The poutine was perfect, the hot dog and truffle fries were tasty, and that wrap (with chorizo) was amaaaaazing. Most of us had leftovers to enjoy for our next meal also, so portions were generous. OMG!!!!! I love, love, love this place. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised. We hail from Harrisburg, PA. Not too far away, roughly 1 hour 30 minutes. We wanted to find something different and drove to Bethlehem, PA, which is absolutely charming. We found Flying V by chance and were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff and owner. But that was just the cherry on top of the fact that the food was amazing. The best burger I have had in a long time. The Poutine (hope I spelled that correctly), was soooo good. This place does not skimp on their servings or the quality of the ingredients they use. In these hard times, I find that I am paying more for less. Not at the Flying V. The prices are reasonable, the food plenty and the smoked Canadian beef truly enhances the flavor of their burger. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu. First time visit - not an experience that would bring me back. We ordered, sat outside and waited for our food. We ordered a Schwartz sandwich, a Nafta and regular poutine. We were very hungry and once it came we started chowing down when I noticed huge chunks of fat. I opened the sandwich and discovered that the sandwich was made of drier meat and 25% to 30% chunks of fat. The fat wasn't even attached to any meat - it was stand alone - large pieces up to a half inch thick and was obviously added to bulk up the sandwich. what meat there was wasn't particularly fresh or moist.It was as if they were trying to get rid of the old scraps and used all their fat. I brought it back in and they told me it was a different cut of meat . I have been to Schwartz's that this has been named for - and I've been to Katz's many times and usually ask for the fatty cut - but this was WAY beyond that. The hostess / cashier was very nice about it and replaced the sandwich and the replacement was much better and fresher. I blame whomever was in the back making the sandwiches. 25% to 30%? For a $20 sandwich? Would have been zero stars but the poutine was good and the hostess did remedy the situation - but I definitely won't be back. read more
