Best breakfast in Denver. Delectable is am understatement. Stop here if you want a great meal to kick off your day.

Good service. Food was not good. Coffee was burnt. Bloody Mary tasted like Worcestershire Sauce with a dash of bloody Mary. Would not recommend! read more

food is cheap and it is super good, i recommend booking a reservation before hand cause they get busy fast!

We were looking for a place to eat breakfast while staying at Union Station and the local breakfast place there had an hour wait. Got a recommendation from one of their employees and headed to the delectable egg. Short walk about 3 to 4 blocks. Cute atmosphere inside. Food was amazing. Wife had huevos rancheros but she liked it but lots of hot sauce on. I had one of the crapes just sort of a crêpe but very tasty. read more

Surprisingly delicious! Got seated right away using the waitlist app, and food was excellent. A little loud but that's to be expected on a busy weekend morning. Will definitely return. read more

We were there this morning and had eggs Benedict. The food was delicious they were very careful regarding safety and COVID awareness. The young waitress was excellent. We will definitely go back again. read more

Excellent food, we had a variety of foods. From Salmon Benedict to sweet crepes. Everything was above the bar. Service was fast and friendly with the waiter bringing things before we even thought about it. read more

Great spot to meet up prior to meetings in that area. I have had Egg Benedict twice in two weeks as its a fav of mine for BF. Great spot, friendly people, excellent food read more

Good food, friendly staff. They got behind because the kitchen was filling so many to-go and call ahead orders. We ordered as soon as we sat down because we were headed to the airport after breakfast. Took an hour to get our food. read more

Diner 2017, nothing special here. It's got corn syrup Ketchup and corn syrup jam, fake creamer and artificial sweeteners. 90% of their dishes are COVERED in their flavorless hollandaise sauce or pumped with thick cheddar cheese or both. And most everything comes with a white flower carbo load of white toast or white potatoes. Don't get me wrong. For a fair price, I got full and semi enjoyed my meal. The issue here is that it's the same shit you'd get at an IHOP only slightly better, and not much healthier. It's okay, that's. about it. If you're looking for fresh and healthy this is NOT it! If you're looking for quick and decent at a fair price, yes, it's great. There was no wait time to get a table, which was nice, but the food took about 10 min too long from a restaurant that was at about 18% capacity. I wouldn't come back, I'd rather have a breakfast sandwich from Starbucks and better coffee. read more

I went here this morning for brunch and had a fantastic experience. Everything from the moment we were greeted, waiter explaining the menu and just the whole process. Parking can be a bit tricky around here so if you're lucky enough, then you can find some street metered parking. All of us got the bottomless mimosa option and the waiter was constantly checking on us to make sure we had some mimosas and were happy. I recommend the biscuits and gravy as well as the juevos rancheros - both were great! It's a great place to go that's close to Union Station and the Ballpark. Enjoy! read more

Great food, great atmosphere, awesome service. Next time I'm in Denver I will visit again for sure.

The staff is so friendly and the food is great. The menu has a great offering of breakfast dishes. I've been very pleased each time I've eaten here. read more

The best part of my meal was the poached egg on my California Benedict. Really. The joke they called hollandaise sauce was neon yellow and very difficult to swallow. The spinach in the Benedict was practically raw. The waffles tasted like they had been deep-fried in oil (in a bad way). The steak of the steak and eggs was dry, tough, and unseasoned. The scrambled eggs were way over done. Oh, I forgot to mention the other awesome part of my meal was the wheat toast. *two thumbs up* yay. Skip this place and go to IHOP. read more

So I went here for Eggs Benedict Day (it's a real thing. April 16th.) because they're one of the places around town where you can get the spinach/tomato/avocado version of the dish. Here, they call it a "California Benedict." The food was just fine! The clientele was almost all dudes! I wondered if it was a breakfast sausage club. Bring change for the meter! read more

Hmmm... People seem to like this place, but my husband and I just didn't. We both got the French Toast Royale (French Toast with two eggs and bacon or sausage, $7.50) and coffee. Everything was blah. The coffee was really weak, the French Toast was not good. The eggs were ok and the bacon was meh. According to the other reviews, maybe we should have gotten the blueberry pancakes or an omelet. But I don't think we'll be back. There just wasn't anything about it that would entice us to return. read more

If you are looking for a solid breakfast place, in downtown Denver, which stays open late (breakfast available until 2 pm) this is a great choice. There is a fairly extensive menu which includes pancakes, eggs, frittatas, and French toast. There re also lunch options which looked good but I can't comment on. I never got past the breakfast. It wasn't fancy. It was just solid breakfast. I just got back from a conference in Denver and this was my daily breakfast choice. My favorite is the blueberry pancakes. A stack is 3 huge pancakes which taste wonderful (not airy like some of the cheaper breakfast spots) and come with blueberry syrup with blueberries in it. The portion size is quite ample. I would have wished for 1/2 portions. Coffee comes in a pot on the table and I'm sure they would have refilled it if I'd asked. Service was friendly and fast each day. The waitresses handled minor modifications easily and with a smile. Atmosphere is casual. You should be able to eat for around $10 per person including juice, breakfast, and coffee. The location is 1/2 block off 16th St and right near the Sheraton. Take the bus to the Sheraton and walk. read more

Good service, and it has a cute, cozy decor. The food all seemed to be covered and soaked in yellow grease. I like a good greasy breakfast as much as the next girl, but it was a bit much for me, and the coffee didn't make up for it. I just can't ever see myself choosing this place when 20th Street Café is right around the corner. read more

Decided to give this downtown breakfast-ery a try this weekend since we had a coupon for a "buy-one-entree get another-one-free deal." (hey, if you've gott'em, you should use'em!) It's definitely got some good things going for it, including a fantastic location, a warm, comforting vibe, and amazing strawberry smoothies; BUT if you're going to call yourself "the delectable egg," your eggs better be pretty darn delectable! I thought their omelettes and frittatas were just okay. I won't knock them for the burned toaster oven smell permeating from the back (seemed to be just a one-time thing), and kudos for having great healthy choices on the menu, but I couldn't help feeling just a bit disappointed overall. read more

Great customer service, but I am not sure what they have going on in the kitchen. My plate came out dirty, food was in small portions like I ordered a kid size plate. I feel the portions are not equal to what I am paying for. read more

We came here based on other good yelp reviews and felt misled. I don't usually write negative reviews for restaurants but with all the good reviews I wanted to weigh in. I got the crepe florentine which was ok. I'd give it 3-stars. Orange juice is fresh squeezed which is great but tasted more tart than my usual. My husband got the smart meal. The chicken breast was thin & dry, and looked like it has been cut in half. The scrambled eggs were fine but most disappointing was the French toast. We'd asked the waitress if the pancakes were better or the French toast. She said the French toast was best, them pancakes then waffles. So when the French toast was flat and tasteless, we can only imagine what the waffles must be like. Overall a very disappointing meal for my husband. He didn't finish his meal and we are off to find him an after brunch snack. The service was good and I hope this was just a bad day for the cook. read more

OMG THEY'RE BLUEBERRY PANCAKES ARE LIKE HEAVEN! Literally the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had. And I've had a lot, since they're my favorite breakfast food. I got two blueberry pancakes, which was the smallest size order they'd let me get. They were huge, one would have been plenty, whatever. They were sooo fluffy! I wish I knew how to make pancakes like that. I also got two scrambled egg whites on the side, and they were good too. So yeah, I'll go back to this place each and everytime I'm in Denver for work. read more

Favorite brunch spot in Denver. Good food, great prices, strong drinks and helpful staff.

I'm randomly found this place on a trip to downtown. Originally planning to stop by Two-Fisted Mario's for a slice, I took a quick glance at the menu and decided the reasonable prices warranted a try. Good, solid breakfast. I ordered what amounted to an omelet croissant sandwich smothered in hollandaise sauce . . . mmm. If a breakfast restaurant has good hollandaise, they will pretty much sell me. Went there during a Saturday afternoon and it was almost empty, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. I'll take it as a good thing since the food was delicious and it's hard to find a breakfast spot in/near downtown Denver that doesn't have a horrendously long wait. Looks like they have good coffee too. read more

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Denver for the football game. I ordered the French Toast Royale and my food came out before I could blink twice. Great right? No! The french toast was almost tasteless. I'm pretty sure it's toasted bread served with powered sugar and I huge dollop of butter to mask the lack of flavor. I ordered my eggs scrambled hard....maybe that's synonymous with dry in Denver? 2 stars for location and service. read more

I sat outside. The food was plentiful! The service was top notch. I will most definitely come back again!!!!

The wait was long- always consider this during these times- however Maria our waitress wonderful - food was great! Bloody Mary's are the bomb! Small space busy- but good food read more

Fun little breakfast place. Very good food and coffee. Crepes were a little over cooked and crispy for my wife's liking but not beyond edible by any means. read more

Great food and service. Was seated promptly at 8:30 on a Saturday and there were still some open tables. Huge variety of food, easy walk. Denver omelette was delish. Get the rye bread! read more

I've wanted to try this place for brunch for awhile, yet I had low expectations to find a table on a Saturday morning by 11. Surprisingly, when I got there they were cleaning out a lot of tables and I only had to wait for 5 minutes to be seated. Service was good and fast despite how busy the place was. I ordered an omelette which came with house potatoes and toast. The serving sizes were large enough for a satisfying late weekend brunch. The house potatoes were very flavorful and the omelette was good. Definitely another good place to visit for a satisfying and affordable brunch without having to deal with crazy waiting times. read more

The extensive menu offers something for everyone. On a Saturday morning, there was only a 10 minute wait for our group of 4. While we waited to be seated, it gave us time to review our options. I liked the healthy offerings, with egg whites, low fat, and tomatoes in place of tomatoes. After getting seated, we settled on the chicken Florentine crepes, Mama's best frittata, Mean green omelette, and a veggie egg white omelette (all around $8-9.50 in price). When the meals arrived, they were all large, fresh and tasty. We would all definitely head here again. Good service and prices too. read more

Between my husband and me, we ordered an eggs benedict, a sausage and gravy, and an order of french toast with fruit on the side. What we didn't expect was for the portions to be huge... completely more than we could eat. Both the eggs benedict and the biscuits and gravy were good. The french toast was just okay. The fruit we ordered wasn't the freshest, though I'm not sure if that had something to do with the time of year. Overall though, the food, service, and atmosphere were just fine for a relaxed Saturday brunch. read more

OMG. What a great remodel you guys did. So happy to see you back open as we missed having our Sunday Brunch with you! The prices are spot on. The service is always great (the staff even remember us). We look forward to the next time each time we leave. read more

Great service and wonderful breakfast food selection. The staff is always very friendly and one of my favorite spots for lunch/breakfast.

What can I say? The eggs are truly delectable! The staff were lovely and attentive, even on a busy Sunday morning. There was a little bit of a wait, but it went quick! A big meal for a good price. Definitely recommend the huevos rancheros and Californian eggs benedict. read more

Delicious sustenance with a bit of flare and terrific service. Can hardly wait to go back.

Breakfast on a weekend morning. I was expecting it to be packed. We had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. The food was standard brunch/lunch fare. We had french toast and turkey sausage and a order of pancakes. The food was as good as your gonna get from a breakfast joint. If ever im in town again. I would surely stop in. One gripe? The parking! GRRRR read more

Long wait, unless if you are willing to eat outside and only have party of two. There are a few outside tables which you can request. I thought the food was pretty good. I had the californian eggs benedict. Food took awhile to come out. Service was great for being outside (outside tables seems to get forgotten a lot in most places). I did get one dirty fork which I had to go inside to get another myself. Waitress was very friendly. Always nice to have breakfast on a sunny morning. read more

In town for a conference and wanted to try something better than the continental buffet. We were delighted to find the Delectable Egg. Fast and friendly, the omelettes were very tasty and came in a very short time. Extra points for the speed without dropping the quality. I also like the healthy choices on the menu and the icons used were actually helpful, with a complete description of what each means. Excellent fast little breakfast place. read more

We actually came here by accident, due to a long wait at Snooze; however, I'm glad we did! 1. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Portions are very generous also (I ordered an omelet and a side of biscuits and gravy since I was really hungry, but I had no shot of finishing it all!) 2. Location is very central and the wait time was almost nothing for a Sunday brunch, not bad compared to the 3 hour wait at snooze 3. Great service and fun atmosphere. Very classic breakfast diner! Check it out!!! read more
