This place was a great choice for breakfast! Other places nearby had 45-60 minutes of wait time, but this place was packed also yet they seated me very quickly. Even at a busy time, the service was efficient and food was delivered very timely. The food was very flavorful! Great place for family, friends, or solo to enjoy breakfast and price was great for the quality! I will definitely return read more

Terrible experience. I called in before arriving and was told the wait would be 15 minutes. I arrived two minutes later, and we were not allowed to wait inside even though there was plenty of space. We had to wait outside in the snow and 20 degree weather. After 15 minutes we checked on how much longer we would have to wait, and we were told we were still 6th in line. We gave up and left. Never going back read more

What an amazing breakfast establishment! First greeted with smile from the host Kira. After seated, Jasmine stole the show. Before food was even pondered, we knew we were going to have an epic breakfast experience. Hollandaise was spectacular (breakfast heroin), stuffed French toast (speaks for itself) and the wife loved her crape/quiche. Great portions and distanced safely from the other tables. Keep up the good cooking DE-D.. read more

This was another stop on my vacation tour. This place was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but solid standard breakfast and good customer service. read more

We had a nice breakfast here. My wife and I came in on Saturday morning to a 15 minute wait. Not bad and they have self serve coffee. It actually took longer for our waitress to actually come to our table than it took to wait for the table. It was busy. But they should be prepared for that on a Saturday morning. My wife and I ordered the red rooster meal which was 3 eggs any way you want, then a double order of ham, bacon, chorizo, or breakfast sausage and a side of cottage cheese. We also ordered a side of avocado. The hot sauces available on the table were good. My daughter had the oatmeal and english muffin which she enjoyed with jelly. The food was good but service was pretty sparse. I do think I would return here for breakfast, maybe on a less busy (weekday) morning. read more

Good service, good food. Delish! Had the biscuits and gravy which was indulgent and the stuffed French toast. Tasty and sweet.

Awesome spot, with a cool downtown location, really good food and lattes, and the service was friendly and fast. Thanks Sadie for a great first visit. Next trip to Denver I'll be back read more

Underwhelming. Came here after reading all the good reviews about this place. Food was just so-so. Portion was meager. For the same price, I get 4 pancakes instead of 2 at the Corner Bakery. The Denver's omelette was also rather disappointing, the Rialto Cafe did it better. What was worst was the fruit cup. Ordered it for my toddler, and what came out was worse than what I could have gotten at the Walgreens nearby. The fruits were very unfresh, I didn't dare to give my toddler the dismal-looking strawberry quarters. There are a number of better breakfast places around, save yourself the trouble and skip this place. read more

Great place within walking distance to many Downtown Denver hotels. 1. Food, we ordered the stuffed French toast and the chorizo Benedict- WE LEFT NOTHING ON THE PLATE it was sooooo good. 2. Ordered mango Bellinis and they were good even got an extra one because they accidentally made an extra one. 3. Service was very attentive i believe our server was Anuhar he kept our drinks full and made sure we were enjoying our meals. Overall a must stop for breakfast. read more

Being a fan of diners, my boyfriend and I were excited to try this place while we were in town. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. I ordered the French Toast Royale. Loved it! You would swear that I hadn't eat for a week if you witnessed the speed I ate my breakfast... Yum! The server was friendly and attentive. I liked the artwork displayed on the exposed brick walls. It is a cozy place to enjoy your first meal of the day. read more

When you come to a brunch place and you're hoping to have lunch, you really hope they have something besides eggs. Lucky for us, contrary to their name, delectable egg had more on the menu than eggs. We had to try the Denver omelette while in Denver & I needed something heathy, so I got the steak salad. Portions here are huge and you won't need to be ordering any extra sides. You won't be disappointed at the Delectable Egg! read more

Service is excellent! Such a kind and friendly staff (who aren't afraid to share a few jokes, too). I've had almost all their pancakes. My favorites are the gingerbread and the blueberry. My office has had them cater our holiday breakfast two years in a row. Not sure about pricing, but the quality is fantastic! Hot, fresh, and delicious. Their pancakes retain texture in catering and the bacon was still crispy- which you don't find typically in a catered breakfast. Indeed- this place is delectable! read more

Yum. I took the simple route. Two eggs over easy with white toast and tomato juice. Just what I wanted. Looked like the people around me were enjoying breakfasts from Julia Child. Great comfy relaxed place read more

It was pretty busy on a Monday morning but the wait wasn't too bad. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, they have an extensive menu and it's reasonably priced. I had the Portabella Road Benedict which had sautéed zucchini, portabella mushrooms, red bell peppers and onions (beautifully seasoned). The hollandaise sauce was to die for and there's a hint of kick in it. Highly recommend. The only thing I didn't really like was the hash browns. There was no flavor to it at all and it's a bit undercooked. But overall, I'd definitely be returning and definitely recommend. read more

The food and service was good.. My problem with this place is the ambiance, it's nice place and it gets very busy. I was there before the breakfast rush and it was already hot inside, Once rush started, it got hotter and hotter. I noticed a lot of the workers were sweating and seemed uncomfortable. A lot of the customers were also sweating. I'm not sure if this place is being cheap and just not turning the AC on, or if it's broken. It definitely needs to be turned on during these hot summer days and/or fixed! read more

Food was wonderful, service was excellent! Great mimosas, they offer bottomless mimosas too! I highly recommend

Bf and I tried this place this morning and it was so yummy & quick! Bf got the Denver Omelette which he enjoyed with the diced potatoes. I got Ken's Special Croissant Scramble with hash browns and fruit minus onions. Well... when we got our food the onions were still there and I was so hungry I just decided to eat it anyways and just picked out the onions as much as I could. And it was amazing... minus those onions. Plus, the hash browns were some of the best hash browns I've ever tasted. Even the bf said he wanted hash browns next time. Our waitress Jasmin was so nice that at the end she took my plate off our bill even though I had decided to just eat it with the onions. Anyways, really yum breakfast food and right down the street for us so I know we'll be back soon. Thanks Jasmin! read more

I had the Tex Mex omelet. WOW, it was delicious. Service was great and atmosphere was very pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I can't say enough good things about The Delectable Egg! Mr David and I arrived in Denver a little earlier than expected and were both hungry. A quick Yelp search gave us this. We loved the location, right off 16th Street Mall in a cute little building with a couple of tables outside on the sidewalk. Inside the walls on both sides of the room boasted exposed brick which I loved. The menu is HUGE and I would definitely recommend ordering breakfast/brunch over lunch because there are way more options. Like most restaurants are doing these days, each table gets a carafe of water. The water carafe had a single slice of lemon in the middle, giving the water a little something extra, which I enjoyed. I ordered the Stacked Ranchero breakfast. It was MASSIVE and it would have been plenty to share (Mr David finished what I couldn't). Basically it has a layer of grilled tortillas stuffed with scrambled eggs and grilled chicken and then smothered with a wonderfully spicy chipotle sauce, cheese, green chiles, tomatoes, sour cream, and avocado. And if that wasn't enough, you get a side of breakfast potatoes or hash browns. I loved everything about the ranchero, but my favorite part was how fresh the ingredients were and that chipotle sauce!!! The avocado was a little underripe and the hashbrowns were pretty basic, but I didn't even care because the ranchero was that good. Mr David went for the Waffle Combo: a Belgian waffle with two eggs and your choice of meat. He thought the waffle was tasty and really liked that flavor of the sausage patties. But it wasn't anything special and we both agreed my meal was better. The service was excellent and everything on the menu was under $10. I also noticed their chalkboard advertising bottomless mimosas. What's not to like about that!? read more

Loved loved loved this place. Chosen based off yelp reviews. Busy but Efficient-in and out in less than 45. Waitress super friendly. Had the green chili and chorizo Benedict. Heading home from a conference in Estes Park and I found this place on Yelp. What a treat. The menu is extensive and has plenty of breakfast food to satisfy everyone from the picky veganesque to the give me the hollandaise right now crowd. Food took close to 40 min. Noticed several tables that ordered after us were served first. When I asked about why our food was taking so long, the waitress became defensive and rude. Eggs were beyond overcooked. Lox eggs benny was nasty and overcooked. Had to ask for water twice before it got refilled. read more

We initially thought to go to snooze and when they said the wait was 1.5 hours we started looking elsewhere. This place is a 5 minute walk from union station and is just as good as snooze without al the hype. We got our seat immediately. I would come in here again for the great food and quick service ! read more

A friend was visiting from out of town and we ended up at this place after a nearby famous breakfast place quoted us a two hour wait for a table for two, which it too long. And I'm so glad we did! We were seated immediately. The place was nice inside. Very relaxing atmosphere. Menu is easy to understand and they have some nice options. Service was friendly and the food came out hot. Everything was cooked to perfection . . . except . . the hash brows were a bit greasy and and bit bland. Don't get me wrong, I ate everything, but the hash browns could use a bit of work. Maybe they'll be better next time I go. And there will be a next time! Oh, and before forget, the place could use a some dusting in high places and ceiling fans. The place has very high ceilings, so I'm sure this is a big job, but it need to be done a bit more often. read more

Just your average breakfast spot. Orange juice tasted like it had added sugar to it. There was no flavor and it was all so bland so I asked for an in house hot sauce-which was bomb by the way. The bacon was extremely undercooked, not edible and the best part about it all, was my buttered toast. The toast was the only thing I enjoyed. read more

Gonna keep it real unlike the other reviews. Ambiance and music were great. Food was okay. Service was okay.

ok, I have been trying to decide how/what to write. we checked in Saturday about noon, was told 30 mins for 6 people. it was about 45-50 mins for a table, not too bad. My problem is understanding their math, MANY 2 and 3 tops came in after us.. 2 tables on patio had 3 chairs, several times we asked " let us have those 2 , we are cool with separate checks/waitress " - nope, apparently its harder to split us up.. HOW? anyway, we got a table together. food was delicious April was our server, she seems like a "professional life time server" - which is great, she remembers requests, but also came across as BOSSY, someone brought our drinks, and food was inside the coffee cup, we asked the guy for a clean cup, she said" what did you say to him" we asked someone else for napkins, and she saw us and came over and again " what did you say to him", we told her napkins. she replied " i get those" and the cook/expo came out and asked my son what type of bagel he wanted for his Lox & bagel platter, she stopped him and asked " what did you tell them' ( Chill april ) drinks raspberry tea 3.88 ice tea 2.99 coffee 3.25 large oj 3.85 meals - lox & bagel platter 15.75 smoke salmon benedicts 15.75 two eggs, bacon, pancakes 10.75 scramlette 12.25 our bill was given 10% discount for waiting we were charged gratuity , we were party of 6, however split checks , so they only charged us gratuity , this is also the ONLY restaurant in Denver who charged gratuity while we were here the food was good, its on a strip with other shops and stores, have to pay to park somewhere. would come back, not in large group , read more

Corned beef hash was canned. Potatoes were not cooked all the way and tasted raw. No delivery choice on cook on eggs. Hollandaise sauce had zero flavor. This review is just for drinks. A few friends and I went here for brunch and drinks. The drinks were just plain bad and watered down. The mimosa was mostly juice, the screwdriver was served with no ice, and I ordered the double Bloody Mary that seemed to have a minimal amount of Vodka. Prices are average , and the restaurant is otherwise nice looking. The food was good. So, potentially it was just the person working bar this morning, I'm not sure, first time here. But our entire group left feeling short changed. read more
