This is a great place to grab a bite. I enjoyed the speedy process of using the waitlist feature on Yelp as we bypassed many others in line waiting for a table. Our server was very sweet and courteous, welcomed us warmly, and checked on us an adequate amount of times. I like that they left a pot of coffee to refill yourself instead of waiting. We had many delicious items from the menu including the crab cake Benedict (real crab, not surimi), fiesta skillet (delicious chorizo), oatmeal/almond pancakes with strawberries, and my son had a burger (large size for a kid!). You definitely get your money's worth with portions and service. I noticed that it slowed down in there after 12:45 so you can visit at a time it's not too busy. Visited today and this place was fantastic. Ordered the Popeye omelette, the breakfast quesadilla, and a side of French toast. Everything was tremendous! Anuhar, our server, was charming and thoughtful. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable asking for advice on what to order, and that continued throughout our meal. Everyone is wearing masks and it was clear they were taking precautions with Covid. I felt very safe, and very happy. Would 10/10 recommend! This spot was one of the best breakfast places I've been to in Denver! My boyfriend and I had the greatest experience from friendly staff to cute decor, and not to mention the FOOD. Huge serving sizes and it was all amazing. The French toast was crisp on the top yet soft and fluffy on the inside. We had breakfast here on a Friday morning. We got there at 9 and there were still several tables open, but by 9:30, the place was packed. Three of us had the crab cake eggs Benedict, and it was soooo good! It came with a chipotle hollandaise sauce, and that was a little spicy, which made them more unique. The breakfast potatoes on the side were also great because they were well seasoned and had a bit of a crispy edge. I'd definitely go back here if I were in Denver again. read more

We happened upon this place thanks to a quick google search. The waitlist on yelp was great, and we only waited a few minutes once we checked in. The menu is expansive but everything we tried was great! The portions were generous and very tasty. As someone who is gluten free, I appreciated that the menu was clearly marked. The only reason I wouldn't give this 5 stars is because the service was just okay. The waitress we had barely came by, she never asked if we wanted refills or something else to drink but was still nice when she did come around. I had the breakfast burrito and let me just say it was amazing. I could eat that everyday for breakfast and probably never get tired of it. It was so good. The restaurant itself is also super cute and has a good positive vibe to it. read more

Established in 1982.

We are a Denver-local, homegrown brunch-spot that has been serving the Denver-metro area since 1982. Market St. was our first location, and is still locally run by the same owners. We have expanded business to total five locations which are Lowry, Westminster, Downtown on Court Place, Downtown (LoDo) on Market St, and our newest in DTC! Meet the Manager: Amy V.

Amy is the General Manager of The Delectable Egg Market St. location and has been since 2007. The location is undergoing the final stages of a full remodel and Amy's been a huge part in the undertaking. She's also the Managing Partner in our sister company, Delectable Catering and within the last 3 years has become a proud wife and mother. Amy's a Colorado native and enjoys everything about Denver, especially the mountains and our sports teams. She has made many lasting friendships with her loyal customers & unforgettable impressions with her new visitors and continues to push the Delectable Egg family to reach its full potential everyday.

It was creative and flavorful. There were lots of menu items the sounded good, so it was difficult to decide. It was also fun to try a couple of breakfast cocktails, for something different than a mimosa. All in all, we had a great brunch at The Original, and it was a great way to start our day.

I'm in town visiting and saw that this place had decent reviews. I came here with my boyfriend, but he had a reservation to go bike riding and unfortunately the 30 minute wait time was too long and he had to leave and grab something on the way. I proceeded with the breakfast plans solo. We had mentioned that bar seating would be ok, after waiting 20 minutes I came inside to inform that I would be eating breakfast solo so if a single bar seat became open I would be happy with that. When I got inside I realized there were 3 open bar seats and we could have already been seated there. After grabbing a spot at the bar I waited 10 minutes and was never greeted, a guy who sat down next to me 5 minutes after me was greeted and had his order taken before I even received a menu. The guy sitting on the other side of me received his food order which was messed up, and sat with a plate of food for a couple minutes before receiving any silverware. Since no one was acknowledging my presence whatsoever, I asked if I could please order something to eat. The food did take longer than hoped. Once I received it I also had to ask for condiments and silverware since the waiter/bartender literally just laid the food in front of me without saying a word. I ordered the healthy breakfast which was in fact mediocre. I most certainly could have made a better breakfast at home with my halfway decent cooking skills. When I was almost finished with my meal one female Waitress asked if I was doing ok which was the only interaction I had with anyone that wasn't prompted by me. I was 100% disappointed with this experience. If you're debating between coming here or going to Syrup down the street, hands down Syrup is the better option all around. read more
