And with such a large array of flavours and unique menu items, it's worth a try......who would have ever thought to create a "sconewich" for breakfast? I was skeptical of the unusual concept but I'm glad I took the leap because it was unexpectedly delicious. The owner was very hospitable and kind enough to indulge us by customizing a flight of coffee to our liking. How special and accommodating! This sconery feels larger than it is because of the abundance of natural light pouring in. There is also the option for outside seating but I much prefer the coziness of the inside. Walked in while visiting the area. Beautiful and serene decor. I couldn't resist the amazing looking scones so we got a box to go. I loved going to this place when they 1st opened. I'd go there a least once a week if only for a coffee at times. It had a great atmosphere, good coffee and pretty good scones. I stopped going and have not been back in a while. This is of the worst places I've been to for up charging for service fees. They also charge 50 cents for half & half for your coffee and charge for tap water. No other business does that! The Crafted Scone charges 6 plus dollars for a scone. Most other places charge around $4 without the service fees and charging for water. Coffee is not cheap here either. I know that these up charges will not break the bank for most people. The Crafted Scone, how I wish you were here in North County! I stopped by here after changing out my spetum over at Ava. It's a small but cozy shop tucked away in a plaza. The place is very bright and very clean. They have a ton of different flavors including Vegan scones and Gluten Free scones. I have only noticed that they carry one vegan scone at a time but I am thankful for even being thought of. On my first visit there were only two other guests including myself so it was the perfect opportunity to get in some work before I hit the road. The person helping me was very nice albeit a bit shy and maybe not as experienced. Lovely, nonetheless. The second visit was early saturday morning but not early enough because they were swamped. That line was almost out the door but they were getting everyone in and out. The coffee is really really good. They carry syrups from both Monin and 1883 with different options of plant milk. Have ordered take out from the Crafted Scone before but this was the first time eating at the restaurant. Quite a few patrons already enjoying their breakfasts both inside and enjoying the beautiful weather outside as well. And there were many others in line to order. But the line moved quickly. The hot food we ordered only took a few minutes until it was ready and did not disappoint. The kids kept it simple with just scones of their choosing. Wife ordered a Benedict that was delicious. If you love cafe's and bakeries, I think you would enjoy this one. The interior was very nice and I loved the many seating options from a place to study and just some comfy chairs. I was in the area and noticed a new name on the plaza sign and decided to check it out. It was perfect because I was looking for coffee too! I ordered a box of scones as a gift and they had loved it! I got the chocolate chip, s'mores, lavender lemon, unicorn, and cranberry orange. The scones were nice and soft and the perfect sweetness. I also ordered a brown butter toffee latte with oatmilk and it was very good. I'm not sure if she was the owner, but she had very cool platinum hair with pink in it and was really nice! I love that they also write kind messages on the cups. I would definitely come back to try the honey bee latte and the naughty pig pastry they had. Found my Sunday morning spot! Their cappuccino, avocado toast and perfect scones really hit the spot. We went with the cream scone, chocolate, lemon blueberry, and blueberry. For 1.50 you can get a small serving of homemade clotted cream that's enough for one scone. Went well with the blueberry and cream scones. The naughty pig was a nice savory one with semi runny yolk in the center. The nice surprise came in the way of an avocado toast. The garlicky punch meshed well with the avocado. Just discovered this delightful coffee and scone shop. Definitely will be back. I loved the ambiance, like a cottage setting with lovely tables and cozy chairs in little nooks to sit in and read a book with a pastry and some hot chocolate. Or coffee, lol. It was fairly busy and drizzling outside and the only indoor seating near the restroom which had a view into their kitchen. Was never a fan of scones before I tried THE CRAFTED SCONE. Pretty obsessed with this place now! I've tried about 10 + different flavors and haven't found any that I don't love! My favorite is probably the frosted coconut one. They're big, soft, fresh and soooo flavorful!!!! They also have great coffee & great customer service. I subtracted a star because I had ordered a ham and cheese croissant warmed up (to go) and it was very cold in the middle. Looking forward to trying the rest of their breakfast menu. It's a cute place, at any given time it can get a little crowded. The first time i went in I was corned in by table because the surrounding tables were occupied so hard to get around. I took off a star for consistency because I've been in several times and I've ordered the classic avocado toast has been different each time. Also depending on who makes your coffee sometimes it tastes better than other times so maybe more training there. The staff is very nice. The scones are delicious and there are so many types. I would recommend for the scones but the avocado toast aren't great enough to justify the price. They're good but the bread is basic wheat grain, maybe if they baked the bread there or got it from a specialty bakery as well. I Arrived a few before closing, chose the only vegan option with a cup of decaf herbal lavender camomile tea. Careful, it was served HOT, too hot, burn your tongue hot.
