This place is so good, but can we not push an agenda? So annoying. That said, awesome scones and good drinks. I moved to San Diego five years ago but come up every couple months for a haircut and get a scone and drink at Crafted Scone. Lots of options and all amazing!
We were super duper excited to check out this spot! We got the following: - French Lavender Latte: 5/5 the latte was delicious and had a good presence of lavender. Also, not so sweet which is a plus for our family. My partner was quite happy with it. Price was $6.85, size was 12oz. - Brown Butter Toffee Latte: 5/5 Great pick-me-up for a rainy day. The drink had toffee bits which was a lovely surprise! Sweetness was pretty mellow despite the toffee bits, which I appreciated. Price was $6.85, size was 12oz. - Ham & Cheese Croissant: 5/5 this came out straight from the oven. It was soft, buttery, delicious, and the ham was tender! My toddler devoured it! Price was $9.00. - Salted Brown Butter Vanilla Scone: 3/5 a bit too sweet for my liking but when I scraped away the layer of the glaze, the scone itself was quite delicious, soft, and had a good chew to it! Price was $6.95. This was a very cute spot with ample seating. You can definitely come here and bring a book or do some work. Service was fast and the ladies helping me had cute handwritten messages on the lids of our lattes :). Overall I will give this spot a 4.5/5!
Stopped by after a workout and treated myself to an iced matcha latte, a vegan scone, and an avocado toast. No regrets whatsoever. The scone was a straight up 5/5. Devoured it while waiting for the rest of my order and completely forgot to take a picture because it was just that good. The avocado toast also deserves a 5/5. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of acidity, saltiness, and fat. Really well done. The matcha latte I'd give a 4/5. Even after stirring it really well, the oat milk kind of overpowered it and I was missing that bold matcha flavor. A little more matcha powder would take it to the next level! Staff were super friendly and the indoor decor gives off the coziest, most homey vibes. Ended up staying for a while to knock out some homework on my laptop, which says a lot about how comfortable the space is. Definitely coming back!
It was my first time visiting, and I came with my brother. They had two gluten-free options available: the Original Vanilla Scone and the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone. I went with the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone, and it was delicious. They warmed it up for me, and for being gluten-free, it was surprisingly soft, moist, and full of flavor. If you have celiac disease like I do, I would consider this more gluten-friendly than celiac-safe. The gluten-free scones were displayed next to the vegan scones. They weren't touching and were spaced apart, but there is still a possibility of cross-contamination. The staff wore gloves when handling the pastries and seemed to take the proper precautions. They were very upfront about their food handling practices, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent customer service. The café itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I originally wanted to order the Fruity Pebbles Matcha, which was a limited-time spring drink. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it with oat milk because the Fruity Pebbles mixture was already premade with whole milk. Instead, I ordered the Brown Butter Toffee Latte with oat milk. I got the 12 oz because I wasn't sure I'd finish it, but honestly, I should have ordered the larger size. It was that good. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I don't usually enjoy overly sugary drinks. My brother ordered the Peach Bellini and added a splash of lemonade. He let me try it, and it was incredibly refreshing. The peach flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and the balance between the peach puree, black tea, and lemonade was just right. He also ordered a brioche tart topped with raspberries, blackberries, and vanilla custard, which he said was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area for another Brown Butter Toffee Latte and gluten-free scone. Just a little disclaimer from someone who's still pretty new to navigating celiac disease: I'm still learning what works best for me and what risks I'm personally comfortable taking. While I understand there is always a possibility of cross-contamination in a shared facility, I also know that living with celiac and multiple food allergies can feel very limiting at times. For me, seeing a business be transparent, answer questions honestly, and take reasonable precautions helps me make an informed decision. Everyone's comfort level and sensitivity is different, so if you have celiac disease, please use your own judgment and do what feels safest for you.
The tuna sconewich was very good! Really liked it. It was quite filling, and the tuna salad was unique in a good way. Also had a London Fog hot tea and took two scones home. Which we ate for dinner, and they were great. I am a scone snob. I hate overly dry scones. It's hard to describe scones, but these were the way I love them!
So. Many. Scones!! The name is true. I saw a few flavors that I wouldn't even think existed in a scone. I went with something a little more familiar to me with a lemon blueberry. It was a bit on the drier side, but with good flavor overall and the icing was a nice touch. I also ordered an iced French Lavender latte and it's truly what I needed that morning. A light latte with impactful flavor (for my taste at least). I was a fan! I ordered the smaller size just because I wasn't sure how I would like it, but I'll go large next time. Although the building is separated, the shop is a little hidden amongst the other businesses that are also tucked behind a mall. Just look for the patio seating and that's it!
Really enjoy our breakfasts here- the scones are awesome, especially warmed up; service is friendly and helpful; and the outside patio seating under the large maple tree is just perfect for a relaxing weekend morning spent enjoying delicious soft scones, flavorful coffee and some great conversations.
The Crafted Scone lives up to it! The Peach Berry Fizz was genuinely one of the best sodas I've ever had, light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. It paired so well with the Unicorn Scone, which was soft, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. It's not just hype. Everything is cute, beautiful, and actually tastes as good as it looks. You can tell a lot of care goes into every detail.
Great hibiscus drink. Paired with the lavender lemon scone on a spring afternoon feels refreshing and light. Restrooms available. Easy parking and fast service on a random Tuesday.
First time in after a night out, had a scone which was really good. Rather disappointed in my drink though. Ordered a 16 oz hot chai. The cup felt like nothing when I picked it up. Opened the lid to let it cool a bit and settle. Had about 10 oz of actual tea and 6 oz of foam. No wonder it was so light!
I absolutely love Crafted Scone! Their coffee flight is amazing, and all their breakfast items are so delicious. The Eggs Benedict is next-level, especially on their fresh scones, and I love that they always have rotating flavors--so fun to try something new each time. The egg frittata is perfect for when I'm trying to be healthy (rare, but so good lol). The staff are always super kind, and it's hands-down my favorite spot to go after church!
In need of coffee on our drive back to Riverside from Temecula. First things first, it was initially hard to find this coffee shop because there was no obvious sign other than a small A frame with name/logo. Once we drove all the way down the road and turned around we saw the sign and parked up front. Glad we still decided to come because they had a wide selection of scones! My husband got the sausage and cheese scone that they warmed, DELICIOUS!! And I got the blueberry lemon scone, the perfect sweetness. The scones we got were HUGE! I forgot to take a pic before we started eating them lol I ate about half of the blueberry scone. According to my husband, the raspberry white mocha tastes on point & actually tastes like raspberry and white mocha. The Irish cream cold brew was just what I needed to wake up! The service was great! The barista that helped us was really nice especially considering I asked for a specific piece of scone lol. I figured since they closed in 45 min it wouldn't be such a hassle either. We'll be back when we're in temecula.
The coffee is amazing and the Avocado Bowl was absolutely fantastic. Their tuna salad is so delicious, definitely worth a try. Fast & efficient service. It is a quaint location with outdoor seating as well, which is always a plus!

A quaint small shop for breakfast or anytime ! Gourmet scones steal the show Freshly made, pick your favorite. They sell out They also have other delicious items on the menu. I came for the scones Opens at 7:30 and on a weekend it's crowder. Worth a small line out side Coffee is recommended French lavender latte w almond! Fresh made lemonade w elderflower ...wow! Parking behind the blvd or on the many spaces on the street You too will come back here You just can eat one scone ! Enjoy!!!! Loved the outside seating entryway to the inside feel and ambiance. Was greeted promptly but not rushed so I was able to look at all the delectable scones and review the coffee menu. I picked up four and asked which were the popular choices. I took home the Blueberry lemon, brown butter which was OMG good, vanilla bean and maple banana. I also ordered an espresso over ice with almond milk which was very nice..I'm kinda picky with my espresso so I was quite delighted. This place has savory options which I will try next time. This place is a GEM! Coming from Los Angeles and San Diego where bakeries with amazing pastries and items are everywhere, it was nice to finally get a spot where you can go and pick up some amazing treats for the house or for guests. I was a little skeptical based on the poor customer service reviews, but gave them a try anyway. When we walked in we were greeted with a friendly hello by a woman, but she wasn't the one who helped us. The place appeared clean, and there was plenty of room to sit, both inside and outside. When we approached the display case, a different young lady behind the counter said "are you guys gonna want a scone?" I informed her that I needed a minute to decide and stepped away so that the people behind us could order. When the lady ordering asked the employee what she should choose, the employee said "the lemon lavender is good". Not a great way to sell something in my opinion, but since I didn't know what I wanted either, I opted for the lemon lavender as well when we ordered. My daughter got the vanilla bean scone. I could totally see why there are many poor reviews on customer service. My daughter thought the young lady helping us was rude, but I simply thought she lacked customer service skills and wasn't the friendly, welcoming face you'd want serving your customers. I also agree with other reviews that the prices should be on the menu. I'm sure there are ways to list prices that don't require the expense of having to redo menus. A chalkboard perhaps? I've even seen menus with tabs with current prices taped on the menus to cover old prices. Just a thought. As far as the scones go, they were big, and they had plenty of options to choose from. My daughter and I agreed that the ones we selected were not bad, but I think we were expecting them to be better. Never in my life have I had a good scone. All I have known about them is that they are these bland, crumbly, sad blueberry bricks you can buy from the store and they just aren't good. This shop has single handedly changed my perception of this. These scones are dense, moist, and so full of flavor. You can tell by the taste and quality they are made fresh daily, and they will last if you grab a half dozen to enjoy over the next few days at home. The coffee is robust and not at all burnt. The sconewiches are delicious, and the price point is worth it for the quality and portion size. The servers are polite and informative for my questions, and the girl behind the counter stayed busy with cleaning and tasks the entire time I was enjoying my meal. The establishment is clean, tidy, and organized. This is a lovely place to chat with friends, or get some work done on a laptop or tablet. You are missing out on some great local treats if you do not give this place a chance. read more

So initially came her because I saw they served their coffee in ceramic cups. I wanted to do their expresso flight which was 2 crafted lattes and a sparkling water. I wasn't able to get what I wanted so settled for a latte and a doppio. The late was good, but I didn't enjoy the doppio. It had a burnt taste. The staff are friendly and I believe they they are known for their scones. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This was a one time stop for me though. read more

The Crafted Scone is in a class by itself. I've never seen scones so huge in my life! I am accustomed to scones being very dry and brittle. But surprisingly, the scones here tasted light and moist. And with such a large array of flavours and unique menu items, it's worth a try......who would have ever thought to create a "sconewich" for breakfast? I was skeptical of the unusual concept but I'm glad I took the leap because it was unexpectedly delicious. The owner was very hospitable and kind enough to indulge us by customizing a flight of coffee to our liking. How special and accommodating! This sconery feels larger than it is because of the abundance of natural light pouring in. There is also the option for outside seating but I much prefer the coziness of the inside. The staff exudes happy energy and works together as a cohesive team to contribute to an overall positive experience for customers - welcoming, tasty, gratifying. read more

If you love cafe's and bakeries, I think you would enjoy this one. The interior was very nice and I loved the many seating options from a place to study and just some comfy chairs. I was in the area and noticed a new name on the plaza sign and decided to check it out. It was perfect because I was looking for coffee too! I ordered a box of scones as a gift and they had loved it! I got the chocolate chip, s'mores, lavender lemon, unicorn, and cranberry orange. The scones were nice and soft and the perfect sweetness. I also ordered a brown butter toffee latte with oatmilk and it was very good. I'm not sure if she was the owner, but she had very cool platinum hair with pink in it and was really nice! I love that they also write kind messages on the cups. I would definitely come back to try the honey bee latte and the naughty pig pastry they had. I heard that the naughty pig has a runny egg inside along with bacon and that sounded so appetizing. This cafe/bakery deserves 5 stars for sure! read more

Have ordered take out from the Crafted Scone before but this was the first time eating at the restaurant. Quite a few patrons already enjoying their breakfasts both inside and enjoying the beautiful weather outside as well. And there were many others in line to order. But the line moved quickly. The hot food we ordered only took a few minutes until it was ready and did not disappoint. The kids kept it simple with just scones of their choosing. Wife ordered a Benedict that was delicious. I ordered the ham sconewich which was great. And we ordered a Scone bread pudding to share which was glorious. read more

My wife and I have been here several times. The food is always spectacular and the service is first rate. The restaurant is always immaculate and very clean. The hot honey avocado toast is delicious. Just a suggestion, have them add a thick layer of goat cheese to go with the hot honey, avocado, bacon, and bread. It brings it all together. read more
Found my Sunday morning spot! Their cappuccino, avocado toast and perfect scones really hit the spot. We went with the cream scone, chocolate, lemon blueberry, and blueberry. For 1.50 you can get a small serving of homemade clotted cream that's enough for one scone. Went well with the blueberry and cream scones. The naughty pig was a nice savory one with semi runny yolk in the center. The nice surprise came in the way of an avocado toast. The garlicky punch meshed well with the avocado. Get a free mini scone when you spot the elf in the store. :) read more
