Southwest burger with a side of fries
    Miranda N.

I was looking for a vegetarian friendly restaurant in the Phoenix area and came across The Coronado. This restaurant is 100% plant based with a wide variety of tasty dishes for both our vegetarian and non-vegetarian friends. I got the southwest burger with a side of fries, but honestly, there were so many dishes that sounded delicious and I'm not vegetarian. Next time, I would want to try: the tacos, harvest bowl, breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, etc. It was a nice day so we sat outside, but there is also a lot of seating inside. We had a reservation just in case but it wasn't very busy for brunch on a Sunday. The Coronado is located on the corner of a neighborhood in residential area. There is a small lot next to the restaurant, but there is also a dirt lot across the street. If that is also full, there's residential parking. Just make sure to be mindful of the residential property.

Finally found a great vegan place where I can take my wife (who is vegetarian) but I can also enjoy the food because it's all delicious. Truly a unique scratch kitchen and they use very fresh ingredients. As well as a cocktail bar! Service is quick, even when it's busy.

Great vegan restaurant! I came for brunch with a group of friends on Sunday. It was pretty busy so it was nice to have a reservation. The interior is really cute and the flower wallpaper gives it a homey feel. I got the savory pancake and tofu scramble. It was a really unique dish and I loved it! Our waitress was very nice and the little notebooks the check come in are pretty entertaining to skim through.

I don't eat vegan but do with my son because he is vegan. This place is excellent. Even for non-vegan pallets. I had the California burrito and the taste was amazing. People were so kind. Atmosphere was enjoyable. We came Saturday for lunch and there were many empty tables. I'll be back when I'm in town again.

I was recommended to check out The Coronado by a friend. As an avid omnivore I was curious (and maybe a touch skeptical) to see how its vegan menu compared to a more conventional restaurant. I was thoroughly impressed. The biscuit was as flaky and tender as one made with animal fats, even if it was understandably a bit less buttery. What was particularly impressive to me however was the scrambled tofu, which had a surprisingly eggy flavor. The potatoes and roasted vegetables were on point too, but that shouldn't be a surprise. Also worth noting is the nice modern interior, which struck a good balance of sophistication and character. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area, vegan or not!

Amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff and incredibly beautiful + flavorful vegan food!! Plus delicious and well-balanced cocktails. The ingredients in every dish are so wholesome and nourishing. Absolutely a must try spot in PHX.

I've been here too many times to count, but it's easily one of my favorite spots for brunch in phoenix - and it's all vegan! This place is much more flavorful and satisfying than a good amount of non-vegan spots around town. The music is always great with the best atmosphere inside and outside. Everyone who works here is super nice and accommodating. I keep coming back. Their food leaves you full and doesn't make you feel bad after. So so good

Black seed burger! And the fires!

Wow! We ordered to pick up so did not dine in but it was so cute inside and they had a nice little patio. I ordered the black seed burger! (Amazing!) and ordered the crunch wrap for my guy- which I ate half of! It was so good and fresh!

Stopping by today to grab some food to go for my road trip. I'm keeping it simple and getting a smaller version of my favorite salad, the Caesar and also a cookie. The service is always great and the space is such a vibe. I enjoy stopping here as often as I can when I'm coming through Phoenix and have the time.

I was in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for the weekend and was excitedly looking forward to the vegan eats as I'm limiting meat in January. I found the Coronado after a long flight and everything was delicious. I ordered the fried guac, the beet burger, and fries. The beet burger was so good I tried to come in before my flight back home for another but unfortunately the restaurant was closed. The cherry limeade was also good and not too sweet. Great spot and would love to visit again!

This place is so cute and it is completely vegan. Everything is made to order. I enjoyed delicious cauliflower tacos and a hazy beer. Wonderful! I definitely will come back again! To top it all off, the service was phenomenal, so friendly! My waitress was Sophia, a cheerful delight :)

little lunch with my close friends. This place is always a great choice!

This place is an absolute gem starting from the outside appeal, to the inside beauty. Its such a fun place. This is a vegan restaurant and im going to say as a vegitarian this is the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. The food is perfect you can tell they care and you can taste the freshness and love in each bite. I had the potato flautas. Had a side of refried black beans and Mexican rice. and I have never had anything come close to how good these were. My friend has the cauliflower tacos and they looked great and she really enjoyed them. Our server was kind ans quick and very attentive. ill be back again and again amd I very much recommend even if you aren't vegan!!

GOOD! inspired by taco bell's baja blast hahahah). they TREATED us to all three of their current desserts on the menu. it was the most pleasant surprise i could've imagined. my favorite was the flourless chocolate cake! it was like a thick, rich brownie, had passion fruit cream to "lighten it up" and a caramel-like taffy on the bottom my brother and sister-in-law both said their favorite was the gulab jamun (which is basically like little fried dough balls/donuts, influenced by indian flavors and spices). the mille-feuille was also fantastic - the pastry was light and airy, cream wasn't too sweet and also very light, shaved cheese on top made it have a savory bite, and the jam alongside it was strawberry rhubarb. service is always amazing, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable; it seems like everybody working here truly enjoys it. quite literally already have a reservation booked at valentine and will be coming back here beforehand. update: came back for more drinks (fernet & coke, spaghett western, negroni) and their lamb flauta. all AMAZING! and amazing order to whet the appetite before dinner at valentine.

We had a reservation for 3 on a Friday night and I recommend doing that if going on the weekend. It was pretty full when we arrived at 8:45pm. The bar is not a huge place, there's an area up front with couches, bar seats, and high top tables along the bar. Main takeaways for me-- the cocktails are fantastic and complex. Really well balanced. I also appreciate the service was great, even with a busy bar. I love clarified cocktails and there were 3 options, our server was able to help me decide which one to try based on her descriptions and what I like. The menu is detailed which helps as well. My friend is vegan and she ordered the Living Color cocktail but she didn't notice the taro root cream, only after getting the drink and taking a sip, she realized due to how creamy it is. The bartender had no issue with making her a different drink that doesn't include dairy. But just know I'm not vegan, so down the hatch it went! I liked it as my final drink due to the desert feeling it has-- creamy and almost reminded me of an adult milkshake once melted a bit.
