From all gender bathrooms, an outside atrium-esque play area to strong Bloody Mary's and non alcoholic beverages, this place is the jam. All types welcome-single, couples, families and your fine furry friends! Yasss! When it comes to friendly service. I went here with my hubby and daughter-- they have a small kids' menu along w/ blocks for the kids to play with (or so inclined adults). Pepper and Salt fries are tasty! Artichoke / spinach dip needed a little salt... Did I mention the proximity to Melrose District?! Lovely cultural / urban feel. The basic burger was cooked to specification, burrito bowl with chicken was yummm delish! Overall, choice spot for a Saturday lunch! Wine selection isn't the best- only downside :(

Headliner. Great fun. Being a few extra bucks to tip them.

Went to a Sunday brunch. The food was tasty and the drag show was fun. Everyone is super nice and the service was great, even though the place was packed. If you like this kind of stuff, fun will be had by everyone.

Came to Phoenix to visit my nephew 10-19-24. We arrived at the restaurant around 11:00 am. We dined inside but I think you're able to eat outside as well (not sure). We all ordered different items off the Brunch Menu, my nephew and I ordered sandwiches then swapped halves just so we can try both sandwiches, we ordered Pesto Cheese Sammie and Mighty Meaty Sammie, our friend ordered Heuerman's Hash and my brother ordered the Basic Bitch. All our meals were beautifully presented and the food was very delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. FYI, both sandwiches were very delicious but I preferred the Pesto Sammie because it was delicious on its own, the other sandwich was missing something like heat (something spicy was missing but then again I love heat). Our waiter was very friendly, great attitude and kept our drinks full. I'd like to go back again and try a different menu (perhaps dinner) because all their food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

I went here for a private event this weekend ! I really loved the vibe here . The bar was right off the walk way from the open patio seating. The had a limited menu options but when I tell you it was delicious. We had chicken tenders, chicken wings and fries, everything tasted delicious l and it was so flavorful! I LOVED the staff here, so nice and welcoming ! I love trying out new eateries and spaces and this one did not disappoint!!!

What a great new space in the heart of Melrose. YumBar has a fantastic food and beverage menu. Have eaten here twice now and the food has been amazing. Love the bar area. Great ambience. Fun cocktails. Nice patio space. Staff very attentive.

Super fun vibe and delicious food! Would expect this place to be busy on a Saturday night, but it is still just under a month old and tucked away! It's in a little courtyard area with other awesome businesses (like window coffee!). My husband and I thought the decor was so fun, especially the flamingos outside. The server was super sweet. I got a veggie burger with sweet potato tots, my husband got a grilled cheese and fries. My veggie burger was very crumbly but otherwise tasted delicious! The tots were perfect, I loved the seasoning on them. My husbands grilled cheese needed to be toasted just a touch longer, but otherwise his food was good too! And not overly pricey, unlike some other nearby spots. Overall awesome spot and I hope more people start discovering it!

We went for brunch on Sunday and a show. The food was great with fresh ingredients and flavor and portions larger than I had expected. The drinks definitely disappoint and the bartenders and servers were friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. I never had to wait for anything either. The show (Barbra Seville (Juneteenth Babies are the best BTW) was also great and definitely glad we went. This was our first time since moving back to Phoenix but we will definitely be back.

Great community place to grab a cocktail and see your neighbors. The pimento cheese dip was amazing, we fought over last bite. Thanks again Mark and Rocco for creating a place for all of us to celebrate and eat amazing food. YUM!!!

Our server, Gabrielle, was incredibly friendly and attentive, which really elevated our experience. Thank you, Gabi! The food was just as impressive. We started with the bread basket and blue crab- both 10/10. For main dishes we tried the scrambled eggs with jalapeño grits, the "egg sammy", French dip, and the hash - everything came out delicious. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for brunch, or from the sound of the other reviews lunch/dinner as well! If you haven't already - go check them out!

It's just a cozy little place. The wait staff are awesome, Sam was our server tonight and he was great!! Drinks were yummy and delish!! The cast iron corn bread is to die for!! So creamy, buttery warm goodness OMG, this is what heaven tastes like!! I've been craving it since the first time coming here. The artichoke was good too, it came with a tasty creamy dip. The baby back ribs tasted like home cooking, so yummy!! Sweet and crunchy on the outside. The meat was tender. Totally recommend 10/10 The halibut was definitely not worth the $44 price paid... It was very dry and tough on the bottom, for the tiny piece of meat :( I had to use the knife to cut off the hard, overcooked bottom. I ended up with tooth pain and had to take a pain pill after dinner. The risotto, although was creamy and delish!! 3/5 stars for me on this dish. We ordered the Key Lime pie to go!! I'm so glad we ordered to go, so that ww didn't miss this perfect pure opportunity!! It was a nicely sized slice, the crust had the best slight crunch, the pie its self was creamy, filling, with the perfect key lime flavor. This is definitely the best key lime pie I have ever eaten!!! Don't miss out on this little gem, give it a try! Melts in your mouth!! Yum yum!!

My wife and I recently went to dinner at Culinary Dropout for the first time together at the Yard…read more We have both visited before for work meetings or with friends separately but not for a full meal. We have been to other Culinary Dropout locations and have always enjoyed it. This visit was no different. We got there early before our reservation and decided to sit at the bar though it was busy, and it took some time to find two seats. Once we sat down, the bartenders were pleasant and helpful, and drinks were prepared rather quickly. We had a relatively favorable experience at the table when ordering food, and we fortunately did not have to wait long at the host podium for our reservation. The food was very good, and we will likely return another day. When we were seated, our server quickly identified herself. We ordered Soft Pretzels & Provolone Fondue (our favorite!) as an appetizer. They arrived and were delicious! We then ordered a Classic Caesar Salad with Salmon & a M.A.C. Burger with fries as our entrees. They also showed up in a reasonable amount of time and were tasty. We finally ordered Monkey Bread for dessert, which came out well and yummy. The service in general was good, and the server made a point to offer rapport. A manager also stopped by to greet us and to ask how our meal was, which is always appreciated. We also enjoyed live music that was being performed not too far from our seats. This Culinary Dropout location differs from the other locations as it has The Yard (which the Tempe location does, too), which is essentially a large, social hangout spot (often a renovated garage) with lawn games, fire pits, and an indoor-outdoor bar designed for casual dining, drinks, an entertainment. One of the big challenges with this location is the parking. There is self-parking during weekday lunch though you have to use valet (which is complimentary) at all other times, and there is quite a wait to drop off a car or pick one up on the weekend (and possibly the evenings). If you go to the Culinary Dropout website (https://www.culinarydropout.com), there are sometimes promotions where you can get a $20 or $30 bonus promo gift card for every $100 in gift cards you buy. You can also make reservations on the website (or OpenTable), learn about upcoming live music performances, and see each location's menu. Also, if you sign up for their Ebites (https://www.culinarydropout.com/ebites-email-signup), you will get a coupon for $10 off a $20 purchase and get notified about special events and offers.

The entrance is a bit unassuming and could easily be mistaken for another establishment, but it has a cute charm. Inside, the space is roomy with plenty of seating and an open kitchen that lets you see all the cooking action. The restrooms are labeled for men and women, but the space itself is unisex. They had a Saturday special with $7 brunch cocktails and live music, which added to the overall vibe. Our party ordered a variety of items, but what stood out to me was the steak and frites (not listed on the menu but available to order) and the kale and butternut squash salad. Overall, this place was great, and I'll definitely be visiting the location in my home state. From what I understand, the menu changes often, so if you see something you like, don't wait!

It is one of the few restaurants where you can actually have conversations and hear each other. We held out to split a chocolate torte w/ icecream- the torte was warm and delicious. Definitely an environment where you might want to reflect on what you're wearing before popping by. The menu is odd; you're looking at braised short rib one moment and a turkey sandwich the next, but the place was packed with what looked like a solid group of regulars. We ordered the aforementioned turkey sandwich and an crispy eggplant sandwich. Both came with shoestring fries. Both sandwiches were good, the turkey sandwich was a little pepper-forward, so if that's not your scene make sure you ask for no peppers! The crispy eggplant sandwich's flavor profile is herbed goat cheese and tomato jam- I don't think it matters what else is in the sandwich as those will be the only two things you'll taste. However, they both taste good. Service was friendly, the food was a little slow coming out. Overall, if you're local- definitely check this place out to judge for yourself.
