First time here and loved everything about it…read more First of all, General Manager Jessica is suuuper nice and friendly. She greeted us with great energy, making small talks. Told us everything is made in-house, even the sauces! That's really good to know and makes me feel better about the food. She even gave me a free delicious cookie for being a first timer! And she comes around from time to time to check on us to make sure we're enjoying our food. Really nice to receive this kind of attention from a fast-casual restaurant. The Santa Maria BBQ Salad looked good but I asked her if they could substitute the chicken with the Chimichurri steak and she said "sure!" And surprisingly they did not charge extra! I love restaurants that are flexible like this. My salad bowl was SO good and filling. Lots of good stuff in it: chopped salad mix, coleslaw mix, Applewood-smoked bacon, crumbled goat cheese, corn & black bean salsa, grape tomatoes. Served with chipotle ranch dressing and blackberry BBQ sauce on the side, and a fresh baked focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cold meat. I was under the impression that the meat was going to be hot. My BF got the Southwestern Sandwich. It was delicious. All the Southwestern flavors were there but not overwhelming. The sandwich was hot and juicy. For a restaurant that makes everything from scratch, their prices are very affordable. Both our meals were only $27 total. Friendly service, great food and good prices - what not to love?

My son called Culinary Dropout and spoke with Olivia, the hostess, to see if the kitchen was still serving. Olivia responded with genuine warmth and kindness, assuring us that the kitchen was still open and that they would be happy to welcome us. From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. A sincere thank you to Layla, Olivia, Emanuel, Dave, and the entire Culinary Dropout team for creating such a first-class dining experience. We look forward to returning soon and will gladly recommend your restaurant to family and friends.

I used to travel there for work a lot. Tempe many times, Gilbert and Scotsdale. Tucson (OG) remains my favorite location. We recently went to the Denver location where my family became fans! My favorite meni item is the Turkey Pastrami served on a housemade Pretzel Bun. No matter the location, always the delicious. My husband both ordered Old Fashions, very good. We ordered the Soft Pretzel Bites served with Fondue as an appetizer. We were here on a Sunday around lunch time and they offer both brunch and lunch. My husband ordered the Chicken; Eggs, and Biscuits off the Brunch Menu, excellent. I ordered of course the Turkey Pastrami Sandwich. My son ordered the Prime Rib Beef Dip Sandwich and we both shared halves! Excellent. The location is their smallest. Foe most patrons they will love the food and definitely a nice addition to Old Towne Orange. But if you frequent the other Culinary Dropouts, you will notice theybare missing the large patios with games, tables, couches. Very unique to the chain and adds to the vibes. Parking was a huge plus here. If you know Old Towne Orange, parking can be a huge challenge, even weekdays! They offer free valet parking! Valet weee very friendly! Our server was Kaylen. Very friendly, offered suggestions, and we talked about our love for Pastrami. She was also very knowledgeable about the other locations.

We got a rice bowl, pita wrap, and za'atar fries. Rice Bowl- I absolutely love that you can build your own! I got my bowl with chicken shwarma which was tender, juicy and beautifully seasoned. You get to choose a variety of toppings and two sauces. I got tzatziki and hummus which tied all the flavors together. The tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled beets and cabbage I chose as toppings were all fresh and added brightness to the meal. Pita Wrap- This is a hefty and filling wrap! We got ours with chicken shwarma and it was loaded with your choice of ingredients and sauce. The meat was out of this world in taste. Every bite is truly a delight! Za'atar Fries- I could snack on these all day. The fries were perfectly crispy and served hot and fresh. The seasoning is delicious and has a wonderful combination of savory, with an herby tang in the end. Great experience overall!

I'm a…read morebig fan of Mediterranean cuisine so I went anyway and here's what I have to say to those who are thinking of trying Baba G. They were absolutely right. You're going to pay sit down restaurant prices while eating out of paper plates. $20 chicken kebab plus tax and tips - that is the exact same price as at Panini Kabob Grill. The pricing point is kind of a stretch for work lunch hour meals. I'm not sure that too many people are going to be willing to pay $25 for their lunches but the quality of food seems to be on point and that is rare around the downtown area where most restaurants serve burgers, fries, and all sort of deep fried dishes. For that price, honestly, my bigger beef was eating out of paper plates. Chipotle does this, but their meals are a lot more generous and cheaper. I think you should definitely give this place a try at least once and then decide whether to come back by yourself. The food was good.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!
