I visited this place today, 8/23/26, with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. When I placed my order, I specifically asked for pepperoni, ricotta cheese, and basil. The cashier told me the order would look different on the receipt, so when I saw salami listed, I assumed that was what she meant and didn't think much of it. Additionally, I placed an order for a 2-liter Dr Pepper and five cups. When I asked for ice, the cashier initially took the cups and then she said there was no ice, but then I heard her inform her younger male coworker that there actually was ice. Mind you they gave ice to other customers. She also made a comment about there being five of us. At that point, her attitude came across as unnecessarily petty and unprofessional. She later told me they didn't have basil, so I asked for olives as a replacement. We waited approximately 25-30 minutes for the pizza. When it finally came out, there was no pepperoni on it, despite pepperoni being part of the order I originally placed. I showed the cashier my receipt and explained that I had specifically requested pepperoni, ricotta cheese, and basil. She insisted that she had repeated my order correctly, but the receipt actually reflected the items I had requested. Instead of simply correcting the mistake, I was charged extra for the pepperoni, even though it was an issue with the original order. On top of that and once our pepperoni was added the second time, we waited about 15 plus, additional minutes. the younger male employee was trying to flag me down to come get my order rather than bringing it to the table. At that point, after everything else, I said "No, you bring it over here." The audacity of them requesting I go pick up my pizza was crazy. I really hope that their manager reads this review. I'll be reviewing this on their website as well. The pizza itself was alright, but honestly, it wasn't worth dealing with the attitude, the ordering mistake on their part, the extra charge, and the overall experience. I came in willing to give this place a try, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back, and neither will the families of the children I brought along with us. They already spoke to their parents about this I unnecessary experience. Mistakes happen, but how you treat customers when mistakes happen makes all the difference. I genuinely wanted to support a local pizza place, but this experience was frustrating from start to finish. They don't offer delivery, don't have a website, and don't have an online menu with current prices, so you're basically ordering without knowing what anything costs. The biggest issue came when I ordered one large two-topping pizza with split toppings half on one side and half on the other plus an order of wings. I was quoted $50 because they said they charge for every single topping, even if it's only on half of the pizza. Charging full price for a topping that's only on half the pizza feels unreasonable and misleading. Without a website or posted pricing, there's no way for customers to know this ahead of time, which makes the total come as a complete surprise. I understand businesses can set their own pricing policies, but customers deserve transparent pricing and an easy way to see a menu before ordering. Until they make their pricing more clear and customer-friendly, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.. and who knows they probably did that so they could pocket the extra money when we have to drive there to get it how sad. read more

Our family LOVES Valentino's at Tustin & Walnut! We order it every Friday and we have never been let down. Upon ordering via telephone, the order is always ready on time and the service is great. They'll provide plates, peppers, and Parmesan upon request. The workers are friendly and the pizza is always, ALWAYS top notch. The seating inside is limited, so it is best to get orders from this location to go to eat elsewhere. They have the best tasting pizza around and we are always pleased with it! read more

First time at Valentinos. My Wife and I wanted pizza but didn't like the others in Orange, We were very happy we stopped as we both loved the crust I had original crust and Wife had thin crust. Toppings were very tasty I had a meat lovers and she had pepperoni. Jade was so very nice and explained all questions we had just a fantastic pizza owner. This fall under the category of someplace I've driven by for probably 15 years and never tried it, until now. And being a connoisseur of pizza, this is my bad. My first impression wasn't super great. I couldn't order online. There are apparently two Valentino's Pizza so make sure you're ordering from the right one. Anyway, I had to order the old fashion way, by calling. Even more shocking, they are true old school, meaning I didn't have to put a credit card down. Ah, the good old days. I was too cheap to pay for delivery, so I went to pick it up myself. The place is a simple walk up in a strip mall with some seating outside. I was surprised to actually see some people out there enjoying their pizza. Inside, the people working very were nice. My pizza was ready so I paid and left. Not much interacting other than that. When I got home, I found the pizza to be pretty good. The sauce had just the right amount of tang to it without being too sweet. Cheese and toppings were just the right amount. To top it off, it was still hot when we got home. First of all the food is incredible. However this is about the service. "Theresita" which is the name of the extremely nice lady at the register went above and beyond. They were closed and I screwed up ordering and they made me 2 pizzas even though they were closing down for Christmas Eve. I've been going to this place since I worked as an assistant manager to the old Wherehouse Music that was located across the street. Still delicious pizza. There are different kinds of pizzas but Valentino's will always have a place in your stomach. The inside has been way upgraded since those old days but the same great test and the price has only gone up $2-$3 in 29 years. 4/3/2019 - Still good service and pizza for a great price. Ordered two Larges for less than $18 and picked up. Nice and hot, got some plates and some chili pepper and Parmesan and was off to a play date. Wasn't too busy for a Wednesday at noon. Order a medium pizza with mild wings and I could not be more disgusted with what I've tasted and what they chose to serve me as "quality food". The pizza was undercooked and soggy. My wings were swimming in a lake of "mild" sauce but was really bbq sauce mixed with an insane amount of ketchup. The pizza had no flavor and all my topping where not cooked. When I called to speak with the manager the I was told they are not in and come in randomly. Found out about Valentino's in college and never stopped going. I now live in corona and drive the distance just to get their pizza. I called in a order this afternoon for my regular and while I was pulling up I saw a woman with no mask on look like she was trying to hit the other customer which was wearing a mask and hat or their employee that looked like a young girl. I was in shock. These people are also apart of our essential workers and are risking their lives to serve us and our families. It was unbelievable. Second go-around for this location. Same wonderful results! We're in the process of moving and there is / was no time, or implements for cooking here. When I called, they had our address already in their database so that part was a breeze. My wife did the Ravioli and I did a Deluxe Calzone plus a Garlic Bread side. EVERYTHING was on point. I've relied on yelp so many times without it I think I'd be starving like a peon. apparently there's this deal on a large 1 topping pizza for only 6 bucks? And when deals like this come my way, I never say npo. so I went into this tiny pizza shop to pick up a large sausage pizza. i didn't call ahead which was my bad and i had to wait for about 15 mins for the pizza to be finished. (i felt so dumb while waiting in my car playing cell phone games while waiting for my hot pie) lol.... when i got the pizza, it was just alright in my eyes. maybe its because i have a weird affinity towards pizza hut and the way they cook their dough, but this pizza place was just missing something... but on the good side, they don't skimp on the toppings and the cheese! (personal random tangent... i love day old cold pizza. am i weird for liking it?) hahaha. if you check in you get a free cannoli, but to be honest the cannoli was mediocre at best. there's not a lot of seating inside, so its best to call in before and not wait like a dumb ass like me and pick up to go.
