First time at a second location of this chain. Very small location, there's a broken tile when you walk in so be careful. Hopefully they get that fixed. It was also kinda dark in there and made me alittle uneasy compared to the bright shiny and clean kitchen at the Euclid location. Always drove or walked past this Whata Lotta Pizza but never gave it a chance. Sorry! I just remembered the Stanton location when it opened many years ago and it was the cheap $2 pizza that all the high school kids went to. Last month we were shopping around for a large order to feed the freeloaders at my kids birthday party. We gave it a test run and ordered 2 pizzas carryout. My family loved it and such a hot deal$. So we placed our order online for next day delivery to the party. The driver was right on time. We've always ordered from Zitos, Marris, Pizza Hut, Lil Caesars but now this is def our go to... seriously it's like every weekend. It's Friday, so it's pizza night at our house! Order was ready in 15min. The XL Cheese pizza was so perfect I had to take a pic before my son shoved his hungry fingers into the box. I have been eating pizza from here for over 20 years. I've tried so many local pizza shops and this is hands down my favorite for no frills, cheese pizza with mushrooms and olives (my go to order) . The crust is pillowy soft without being doughy, the sauce to cheese ratio is on point, toppings are dependable and the price is cheaper than most. We always order pizza from beach and lampson. We ordered from the orange location cause I work on that side. One thing I noticed was all the signs are down. Nothing says Whata lotta pizza. The service sucks and the wings have so much fat. They definitely changed the food. They have no specials!!! I ordered wings and a LARGE pizza with extra toppings and what I got was a medium with no extra toppings. I paid $60. One of the workers said they changed the menu prices. Let me start this by saying that I'm a NY transplant, ergo, I have quite a bit of experience with good East Coast pizza. A tennis buddy of mine recommended this pizza place saying it tasted good. First off, upon entering, the pizza shop is not a typical pizza joint. Nobody is kneading dough, nobody is prepping food and most importantly, it just didn't have that feel. I ordered a plain cheese pizza. I asked for a slice, and they said they only sell pies (not a good sign) and was told that I could order a personal pan size which I did. The personal pizza was about $5.50ish, was just a little better than something I would buy in the supermarket. Nothing remarkable about the cheese, nothing special about the sauce, and nothing special about the crust. It reminded me of the personal pizzas that pizza hut makes, just didn't taste as good. FWIW, I'm pretty sure many West Coast folks would like the pizza, but compared to what I've had for about 45 years, not in the same ball park. read more
