The staff is very friendly and it's the cutest little family shop. There's not a ton of seating but it's quaint and clean. We get the vegetarian with sausage and extra sauce. Marri's Pizza is tucked in a very small shopping strip on Santa Ana Canyon Road. If it you aren't using your GPS you'd easily drive right past it. Parking is limited. My friend heard about this place on one of the OC Facebook Buzz accounts and wanted to check it out. Let's just say our visit today was far from Buzz-worthy. While the interior arrangement looked cozy/homey, once we sat down there wasn't any cozy to be felt. The dining room was cold and the jazz music playing was turned up to more than background sounding. There seemed to only be one woman working and she wasn't very welcoming. My friend arrived at 11AM when they opened. (I was running late as usual ). Knowing that a pizza would take a little longer to prepare and bake, she decided to place the order right away. The woman working told her they don't start pizzas before 11:30. If your restaurant opens at 11, why choose to delay pizza baking??? Since we had to wait for the pizza to cook AND the restaurant was cold, we decided to order their minestrone soup to start with and hopefully help warm us up. The soup did come up quickly. It wasn't like any minestrone soup I'd ever had. Theirs had no pasta, no beans, and lacked seasoning. At least it warmed us up while we waited for the pizza. Side note on beverages. If you're a Coke fan like I am, prepare for disappointment. Generally when only Pepsi is offered I opt for unsweetened iced tea. Although fresh brewed iced tea is on the menu, they no longer serve it. Tap water it is then. Finally, the pizza arrived at our table. We chose the Hawaiian (pineapple on pizza haters, please don't judge). They were very generous with the cheese. The ham and pineapple, however, were very sparse. There wasn't any real flavor that stood out, just copious amounts of cheese. The sauce didn't even give it a flavor boost. The crust was nothing special either. Even after adding chili flakes and parm, the flavor was still underwhelming. I even tried adding the table pepper to it to see if it would help ~ it did not. After paying the bill we never saw the server again. No "thanks for coming, I hope you enjoyed your meal", nothing. All things considered, there are plenty of other pizza/Italian places in the area that have better food and have workers who actually appreciate our business. We most likely not be coming back. read more

We decided to try out this mom and pop pizza place. We ordered a family meal deal that had salad, garlic bread, and a large pepperoni pizza. Everything was tasty. It is close to home and I do love their quality of their pizza, I stay away from dairy as much as possible but I usually can eat marris without feeling like crap the next day. also their service is great and every time I call to place an order they are helpful! We just had a luncheon today for a local middle school catering with Marri's, it was a big hit! Delicious food and very cost effective pricing. We loved all of it. We ordered salad, garlic bread lasagna, spaghetti and chicken Alfredo. The flavors were perfect! They were ready on time and hot! All the teachers and staff were impressed. They kept asking where we had gotten food from. If you don't know this little gem I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try. They have other locations in Anaheim and Long Beach. I instantly knew I would like this place. We were greeted like we walked into a family home for dinner. Senna and the family who runs this little joint along with their other locations, are just fantastic. The team here made sure we had everything we needed and are so personable. At one point a customer called them and asked them to deliver and they said "we don't do delivery but I'll personally deliver it to your doorstep...." WHAT??? That's so nice and generous. Unheard of! The only disappointment was that it was a Friday night and we didn't see one other customer walk in! We were blown away! How could this be? While using doordash, they were offering a free 15 dollar coupon to be used on any pizzas. I wanted to support a local restaurant so I decided to get pizza here. This restaurant is located in an unassuming location. In the middle of two gas stations right next to a BBQ store. I ended up getting the marri special. It came with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms. Nothing really special. I should've tried the alfredo chicken pizza instead, since it's not everyday you see that. The pizza crust/bread was thin even though I didn't order thin style. It wasn't as doughy as other pizza joints. And the flavors were also kinda lacking. The next day the crust/bread got pretty hard. The medium pizza was about 15 bucks, but I'm sure it's more expensive on the app. If you call directly it'll probably be cheaper. They have other items besides pizza. Considering eating inside restaurants is still banned, I can't comment too much on the interior. But from what I saw it was kinda small. read more

We are never disappointed when we order from Marri's Pizza. The food is consistently good and we always receive great customer service. Things we've ordered: mozzarella sticks, spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken parmigiana, pepperoni and margherita pizzas, garlic bread, side salads, and tiramisu. Everything we've ordered has been really good. The only exception was that the chicken on our barbecue chicken pizza was a tad dry on a recent order. With the exception of that minor hiccup, our food is always hot and delicious. Our favorite items are margherita and pepperoni pizzas and the mozzarella sticks. They are amazing! The service is always friendly and helpful too. When they once forgot a side of spaghetti, they had a new one made and then redelivered. It was really nice. Whether picking up food or having it delivered, everyone is really great here. Great Italian dishes. This is our go to place for take out. My daughter and her friends went there for their Prom night dinner. My daughter said the staff treated them great and the practically had the whole place to themselves for the group. We have also used them for catering for my Italian family. We found this place in a small shopping center that looks a little run down but we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing the food was. We were greeted immediately and ordered their sampler appetizer, large Matterhorn pizza, meatball sandwich, and spinach and cheese bread. The food was so flavorful.... The cheese in the mozzarella sticks pulled just perfectly. Their wings were tasty, the fried zucchini crunchy and delicious. Their ranch was fantastic. Their pizza that is how a pizza should be, just a little dough and plenty of toppings cooked just right. The sandwich was delicious, but my favorite this was the spinach bread... it was so the perfect amount of cheese and spinach, the bread had a perfect crunch to it yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The owners came and talked to us and were so friendly and took the time to get to know us. This place is now my number 1 to get pizza. We didn't order any pasta dishes this time but I look forward to it next time we go and believe it won't disappoint. Service was exceptional! food was exceptional!
