    Good bowl

Stopped by Cava today and had a great experience. Josh helped us with the toppings and was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely helpful. Mason pointed me toward a few sauces and recommended the honey chicken, which ended up being a great choice. The food was fresh, everything tasted great, and the service made the visit even better. I'll definitely be back.

Got the Grilled Steak & Harissa Honey Chicken bowl ($16). It's a good spot to get your veggies since you customize your own base, toppings, and dressing. Flavor: The spicy items have a good kick and different flavor profiles. Portions: Decent size bowls, though the meat portions felt a little light for the price. Setting: Indoor and outdoor seating available.

A CAVA bowl is usually two meals for me, in fact, I sometimes get a kids meal if I don't want leftovers. But today when my husband asked what I wanted from CAVA, I opted for a normal bowl so I could have lunch tomorrow too. He ordered online and picked up, luckily checked the bag before he left because the pita was missing. Came home, we opened our bowls and were very disappointed. They were barely half way full and complete sloppy messes. Usually the sauces are placed nicely on top to be able to dip the pita in, but it was all mixed together and I couldn't tell what was what. I asked for broccoli and didn't get it. There was also huge chunks of feta that I did not order, it made it way too salty. My lamb meatballs, which are usually delicious, were on the verge of being burnt and were dense like hockey pucks. This was definitely not worth $15. My husband said the last time he got food from this location, it was also a tiny portion, but he thought it was a one off. Unfortunately Orange was closed today which is why he went to Anaheim Hills, but he said he won't be ordering from this store again.

This location is 3 miles from me which is great. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Staff were nice and helpful, establishment is clean and plenty of parking spaces in this location. We both got the spicy chicken avocado bowl, it was very good, fresh and generous amount of food. We asked if they offer any military discount and to our surprise they do at least for this location. We definitely will be coming back. Great food great service and lots of parking, highly recommended!

Came in during a lunch rush, the line went by fast and the whole place smelled so good. All the workers are so friendly and helpful with any of my questions. I'm obsessed with the bowls, so good, many options, and delicious every time. My experience is especially pleasant when I see Bobby and Naomi, very sweet girls.

This is my fourth time coming back and it never disappoints. The food is clean and delicious and the environment calm. Bobby and Naomi have great character and added some really good energy into my day. Great customer service.

What has happened to CAVA? -- the flavors are great and the ingredients are usually fresh -- but the portions have dropped substantially lately. What used to be a generous, satisfying bowl now looks half-filled, and for the price it just doesn't feel worth it anymore. On top of that, my last order had multiple issues: one bowl was missing broccoli, they forgot to include the pita (so I had to ask for it), and the lamb meatballs were hard, dry, and so overcooked they might as well have been hockey pucks. The food here used to feel reliable, but between the shrinking portions and the careless preparation, the experience has really gone downhill. I hope they turn it around, because right now it's just disappointing.

What does the outside patio look like? Would someone post photos please? I'm looking to meet up with visiting family, half way btw LA and Murietta, and this place seems ideal. Thanks!

It is nothing fancy, it’s similar to if you sit outside of a Yogurtland or Rubio’s. It is not a restaurant style setup with service. It is just a regular sitting area.

Horrible experience and extremely poor customer service…read more On Father's Day, my husband wanted to try this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We were seated on the patio and waited for 15 minutes without a single employee approaching our table. Not one server, host, or staff member stopped by to acknowledge us, offer water, or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. We actually timed it from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we were seated in the middle of the patio in plain sight. We watched multiple servers and staff members standing around the service station, chatting, sipping drinks, and looking around. Meanwhile, guests who were seated after us had their orders taken, received water, and were even served appetizers before anyone acknowledged our existence. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of service is completely unacceptable. On Father's Day of all days, when families are trying to enjoy a special meal together, the lack of attention and basic hospitality was astonishing. After 15 minutes, with my husband and son both hungry and frustrated, I walked up to what appeared to be the manager or owner and informed her that we were leaving because no one had come to our table. Her response was that she "wasn't aware." Frankly, that's not an acceptable answer. If you're managing or owning a restaurant, knowing whether your guests are being taken care of is part of the job. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally, dining at everything from small local establishments to high-end restaurants around the world. Out of the countless places I have visited, this experience easily ranks among my top 20 worst restaurant experiences. Not because the food was bad--we never even had the opportunity to order--but because the complete lack of service and awareness was that shocking. To make matters worse, after leaving, we went to North Italia. Within a few minutes of being seated, a server greeted us, acknowledged the Father's Day rush, offered us bread, and genuinely seemed concerned when we explained what had just happened. That simple act of hospitality immediately changed the tone of our afternoon. That is how a restaurant should be operated. That is what good management, training, and customer service look like. You make guests feel welcome, valued, and taken care of--even on one of the busiest dining days of the year. This restaurant, unfortunately, did the exact opposite. We left disappointed, hungry, and genuinely stunned by how poorly the situation was handled. Will we return? Absolutely not. There are far too many restaurants that appreciate their customers and understand the basics of hospitality for us to ever give this place another chance.

It complemented with the Bonchon so well I kept going back for more. You can change the level of spice. I made mine spicy, and it was perfect for my pallet not too salty, which is accommodating to my pallet as well. Chicken Jikhwa - 4/5 was more on the sweeter side due to the caramelized onion, but overall the flavor was on plate. I really like how it was packed with flavor and with the tofu soup, it balanced each other very well since it's more overpowering with flavor than the tofu soup. The only thing I wish it was served on is a cast-iron plate or something to keep the meat, hot or warm longer lasting. I just love eating the Bonchon along with this because it gave a pickled and acidic complement.

We got there right when they opened at 4pm, and were sat right away by our server at a nice table against the wall. The music was all instrumental super chill vibe in the background as it should be, classic and traditional Italian style mandolin stuff and very relaxing. Romantic even. But let's talk about the food. This is what it looks like when the kitchen takes pride in their work. Absolutely 5 stars on quality, presentation, temperature, texture and balance. The sauces worked perfectly with our respective meals - I ordered the Penne Pesto Chicken and it was quite possibly one of the best pesto sauces I have ever had. The soup on special was a crafted delight of a Toscana style cream base and was simply beautiful with potato, kale, white beans and ground sausage. My wife had a black and white fettuccini with a lobster tail and shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. You can feel the authenticity of a scratch kitchen in the sauces. They even make the bread in house. We knew it would be too much, but we ordered the zucchini special and it was another thing on the list that just fired on all cylinders. Perfect batter around zucchini flower and ricotta cheese, with marinara on the plate and a beautiful presentation. The service was flawless. The server was charming, smooth, and confident in his recommendations. He suggested a wine that was matched beautifully to the whole meal. Even the f***ing oil and vinegar bottle was sexy. COME ON. The only reason we didn't get dessert was that we were totally stuffed. Took food home, but if we didn't get the app and soup, the portion is perfect. locked in for this place. 100% will return.

We waited briefly at the bar, but there was no clear communication about when we would be seated despite having a reservation. When we asked about canceling, we were told they "can't tell people no if they come," which left us unsure how reservations are prioritized. That response was disappointing and suggested reservations may not be treated as commitments. We ultimately left. If reservations are accepted, guests should reasonably expect their table within a short window of the reserved time. We understand busy nights happen, but clearer communication and honoring reservation times would have made a big difference - especially when guests are traveling to dine there.

The ingredients, textures, and flavors were all paired very nicely in each dish we tried. The presentation of every dish we had was immaculate and really elevated the experience (see pics/videos). LONG VERSION: We started with a few slices of French bread that came out fresh from the oven - it had an amazing crust on the outside and was unbelievably melty warm and soft on the inside. I kept asking for more pieces and wish I could have just ordered an entire loaf of it if I'm honest! The presentation of the Hamachi crudo salad was like a piece of art - the dish matched the presentation and the yuzu flavor was unique and refreshing. The shrimp macaron starter was very tasty and the green sauce to dip in had a great spicy kick to it. The Spanish garlic shrimp appetizer was a good size portion that we shared. It came out hot and sizzling on the plate - the shrimp was succulent and the tomatoes and garlic pieces were terrific. For the main dish, we split the uni (sea urchin) pasta. The pasta was home made and delicious. I have never had uni before and it was cool to try a unique and novel flavor but this might not be for everyone (it had somewhat of a bitterness that reminded me of the acquired taste of an olive). The sauce was definitely butter heavy and it evened out the strong flavor of the uni - I found the dish was delicious overall but it is pricey so just make sure you're aware and open minded before you order this. For dessert, we split the chocolate cake/soufflé and this one literally took my breath away and had me rolling my eyes into the back of my head. It was made to order so we had to wait for it to bake, but when it came out, the warmth and quality of the melted chocolate inside was exquisite and the proportions of cake to chocolate to ice cream was absolutely perfect (see video). We don't go out to nice fancy/French restaurants very often, and I'm so glad we indulged with this - it ended the evening in a truly special way. Restaurant ambiance was casual but elegant. Our service was fantastic - we don't eat meat or alcohol and our server helped us navigate the menu to find some great options. Overall, we are grateful for a lovely meal and would recommend anyone else to give it a try if you're looking for a unique and flavorful dining experience.
